Ingredients

Wheat flour 200 g
Sugar 200 g
Chicken eggs 3 pcs = 160 g
Creamy margarine 100 g
Juicy orange 1 piece = 200 g
Soda 1 tsp from HP
Vanilla (optional)

Cooking method

  • By ingredients:
  • Eggs come in from 50 to 85 grams, and for a small amount of dough it will be better to focus on their weight, rather than pieces. The amount of flour is indicated precisely for such a mass of eggs (shelled - this is 85-90% of a whole egg), which is written in the recipe. Reduce / add flour to get the consistency of thick sour cream. Baking flour of the highest grade, did not extinguish soda with vinegar. It is desirable that all products are at room temperature, especially margarine - I do not melt it, but break it into small pieces with a mixer. If necessary, margarine softens in 30 seconds on a saucer in the microwave.
  • Preparation:
  • 1) The orange can be chopped together with the peel, or you can peel it, boil the peels for 5 minutes in a small amount of water with sugar (i.e., in syrup), and then chop.
  • 2) Mix sugar, orange porridge, eggs and margarine with a mixer until a more or less homogeneous mass, add flour in several steps so as not to pour too much. The dough should look like mayonnaise or thick yogurt with pieces of fruit. There is no need to bring to a state where "even the mixer is in the dough"
  • * at this stage, nuts, raisins, vanilla, cocoa are added at will ...
  • 3) Prepare baking dishes, oil them if necessary. You can turn on the airfryer for warming up, but I did not turn it on.
  • 4) Now divide the dough into 2 parts, pour baking soda into one of them - 1/2 of a small measuring container from a bread machine (1/2 tsp), mix and arrange in tins, filling no more than 50% of the volume. (You can put a drop of jam on top of the dough, it will sink and get a juicy filling.) Immediately put the molds in the cold airfryer and turn it on at 200 degrees for 15 minutes. The muffins are ready when the top crust changes from orange to brownish - it won't burn, it just needs to be crispy.
  • 5) While the first batch is baking, add soda to the second part of the dough, mix and lay out on the remaining molds to quickly put them in the AG in the place of the first ones. It is convenient to use forceps for this.

Cooking program:

Single-speed airfryer 12L with an expansion ring, without warming up, put on the lower grill at 200 degrees for 13-15 minutes.

Note

Can be cooked in the oven: pour into three 18x18cm square tins and at 200C for 15-20 minutes. Or bake in a multicooker for 60 minutes (depending on power and model). The muffin is moderately moist, sweet, and with so much margarine not too crumbly, I really liked it!

They can be clenched in a fist and they will not stick together, but straighten like a sponge. Now I want to find a round baking sheet to bake thin and tender orange cake layers in AG.

Irina, to be honest, while baking biscuit cakes only once I dream of learning how to make cakes. Now (finally!) There is a technical opportunity, but there is not enough time for creativity. I took this recipe as a basis. 🔗 I didn’t add water, beat the whole eggs. I didn't get lush foam like in the pictures, I'm afraid to burn the mixer. But overall I liked the result. Such a cake is baked in 5-7 minutes! Very gentle as a feather.

PS Today I found a tray for AG, but I was afraid that it was wide, I tried on the grate at home - just, tomorrow I will buy it and bake something!

For several days in a row, I cook this cake in the Brand 37300 multicooker on the Standard mode. Minor changes:
1 orange with half peel - about 185 grams
20 ... 30 g of creamy margarine from the refrigerator for crumbling (more than 45g - there will be a cool middle, less than 15g - rubber crumb)
1 multi-glass sugar - 150 grams
2 medium eggs - 110 ... 120 grams
- I throw it all into a blender and mix until it is grinded into trash. I don't put flour into the blender - the dough becomes thick and does not mix well, only once out of three it turned out to do absolutely everything in a glass of a stationary blender. But it turned out super! Today I transferred the mixture to a bowl, added about 160 grams of flour and 1/2 teaspoon of soda (measured with a spoon from HP), mixed with a spoon and poured it into MV. The dough is more like a whipped cocktail. The result is a gingerbread 3-4 cm tall, soft and juicy, with an orange flavor. It is eaten up in an instant.
