Baked eggplant

Ingredients

Eggplant 3 pcs.
Garlic 3 cloves
Lemon 1/2 pcs.
Olive oil for lubrication
Coarse salt taste

Cooking method

  • Turn on the oven for preheating (220 ° C).
  • In a mortar (you can use a tablespoon on a plate), grind the garlic and salt into gruel, mix with squeezed lemon juice.
  • Cut the eggplants into halves lengthwise.
  • In each half, make a longitudinal cut in the center (deep, but not through!) And pour the garlic-lemon dressing into each cut with a teaspoon.
  • Grease the surface (pulp) of the eggplant with olive oil (brush) and lightly salt with coarse salt.
  • Put the halves on a baking sheet, put in the oven for 25-35 minutes.

I had 2 small eggplants in my refrigerator, prepared for another dish - now they do not lie. Here I am somehow place with a sixth sense I felt that it was necessary to do IT. And my premonitions did not deceive me. It's not just delicious - it's delicious!
They used it with sour cream, bread and ... that's it. This is a completely self-contained dish.
I already ordered more eggplants in the online store ... a lot ... We will live there are guys.

What is steamed in a griddle is something I even know as a kettle. I just read that in Viscount not everyone is friends with the "baking" mode for baking and use the most powerful "steam" mode for this. I will try, because in ripe eggplants, the skin is considered harmful - there is solanine in it.
