Rice-millet milk porridge (pressure cooker Brand 6050)

Ingredients

Krasnodar rice 1.5 measuring cups
Millet 0.5 cups
Fresh natural milk 7-8 measuring cups
Salt taste
Sugar taste
Butter 20-30 grams

Cooking method

  • Put all the ingredients in the pan, turn on the mode Porridge / steam and bring to readiness, complete release of pressure.
  • Time for preparing:
  • - cooking 13 minutes (default)
  • - pressure relief 17 minutes.
  • In total, the total cooking time is 30 minutes.

Note

The porridge is completely ready, boiled as it should! It should be noted that the pressure cooker cooks well a large portion of porridge, and the cereal is completely boiled down both at the bottom and at the top, milk does not escape, although there were milk "scraps" on the lid.

To get a liquid porridge from cereals, rice, you need to pour milk at the rate of 1 cup of cereal, 5 cups of milk.

I cooked this porridge for pudding, so we ate part of it like this, in a bite with milk from a mug, and some I put it on pudding for the evening.

Cook with pleasure and bon appetit! Rice-millet milk porridge (pressure cooker Brand 6050)

please kick me harder so that I finally make up my mind

To be afraid of wolves - do not go to the forest

ZOOM - run for the pressure cooker! Did you feel a kick from behind, or is it still not strong, still undecided?

Tatiana, thanks for the speed up !!!
I climbed our entire website, read reviews and tips and came to the conclusion that cartoons can be used every day instead of pots and pans, and CB is so when you need to cook something quickly or am I wrong?

This and similar porridge can be cooked in a saucepan over the fire, and, in about the same time! But then you have to stand over the pan and monitor the process, interfere, and so on.

The pressure cooker allows you to do this in a closed saucepan under pressure, you do not need to stand with a spoon, faster than in a slow cooker, and the porridge boils very well!

Basically you are right, it all depends on what you intend to cook, what kind of regime is needed (strong or delicate) and how in time it suits you.
For example, I cook baked milk and jellied meat only in a slow cooker, although it takes much longer to cook in it, but the result is worth it!

Dear hostesses, please answer, do the measuring cups have the same volume in different multicooker models? In my Deh 55, a glass of 160 grams.

As a rule: the volume under the knife is 180-200 ml.
But this is not the most important thing. The main thing is to choose the right ratio of cereal and milk (water), then there will be no problems with the consistency of the porridge.
And it should be borne in mind that different cereals take water (liquid) in different ways, plus or minus, but there are differences.
And you can measure at least with cans - the main thing is the cereal-water ratio
