Moulinex. White bread with onions.

Ingredients

Warm water 400 ml
Salt 2 tsp
Sugar 1 tbsp. l.
Wheat flour 700 g
Fast acting dry yeast 1.5 tsp.
Additionally - onions 2 pcs.

Cooking method

  • I put the ingredients in a container, following the recommendations for the bread maker. For Moulinex, in the following order: warm water, salt, sugar, then flour and dry yeast. I put the container in the bread maker. I chose program No. 5 ("French bun"), weight 1000 g and desired crust color (light). Clicked on "Start". After the beep, I added finely chopped onions (you can add 3 cloves of garlic, 125 g of olives, 200 g of brisket or 100 g of sausage, cut into cubes, instead of an onion, you can add nothing). Moulinex. White bread with onions. was pleased. It was baked great. Long did not stale. Everyone liked the taste.

Merri, with the first bread! Where can I see a photo of bread? Especially in the context, I really want to see the crumb!
Merri
Thanks for the help!
Merri
I will learn to take high-quality pictures.
Kis anya
Don't you fry onions? The recipe is simple, and it looks delicious with you, I also want to try
Merri
Sorry, I haven't watched the messages for a long time. Raw onions, finely chopped.
Kis anya
I did it, I fried the onions, another time I will do it on cheese))
Merri
Well, how did you like it better with raw or fried onions?
Kis anya
I liked more with fried
Thank you! Soon it will be necessary to experiment with Easter cakes

Yes, getting ready, getting ready ...

Have you already tried to cook cakes in a bread maker? I have no experience with such baking yet, I would be grateful if you could advise a recipe

No, Kis anya, I bought a bread maker 2 months ago, I have not baked cakes in it yet, because baking cakes for me is a sacrament, their hand does not rise until Easter. There is a recipe for HP in the book, but I don't want to recommend it without any photos. Look at the forum, you will surely find something suitable for yourself! I wish you success! And I want to bake this year both in the HP and in the oven, as always.

I apologize in advance if anything is wrong! Irina in your recipe:
Wheat flour 700 g
I chose program No. 5 ("French roll"), weight 1000 g and desired crust color (light).
For 700 grams of flour and everything else to it - the weight is 1 kg. - not too small?
I read somewhere that some Moulinexes can bake up to 1.5 kg ...
I myself have a Panas 2502. I did everything strictly according to the recipe, but my photo in the morning is completely different ...
Moulinex. White bread with onions.
Considering that I not a magician I'm still learning ... Maybe I messed up something, but he did not rest against the lid !!! He just gave it up !!! Barely pulled him out.
Can I reduce the ingredients? Or a signature to do what is the count for Mules? Or just tell me that I'm wrong ...

The author made a bookmark of ingredients in her x / stove and based on its capabilities, the amount that the bucket will accept - read the instructions for the x / stove.

Panasonic, as far as I know, optimally takes 350-450 grams of flour - that's where you start! Calculate the ingredients for this amount of flour and the weight of the bread is about 600-700 grams.
abksar
Strange as it may seem, I already understood it myself !!! When you use a recipe you need to look through the instructions for each HP ??? Or if the recipe is only suitable for your HP - you need to warn about it ?!
Admin

You can take any recipes from the forum! BUT, always know the capabilities of your x / stove, its programs, the amount of flour to bookmark. And always recount the ingredients for your x / stove, its capabilities up or down.

DEAR, moderator !!! Thanks a lot for the detailed explanation. I read these topics even before registering on the site, but on your advice I will definitely revive them! I wrote auto RU (I do not detract from the moderator's rights !!!), and not in order to offend !!! But thanks to our squabbles (which YOU arranged) young bakers will not be trapped !!! So I achieved the goal, because of which I started this post! THANK YOU.

Yes, I was not going to play "squabbles"! A normal business conversation question / answer, as a result of which you can once again look through the topics necessary for understanding bread.

Good luck!

You know what I would like to ask! In my new T-fal oven recipe book, the basic recipe is 1/2 teaspoon of yeast (dry) per 3 1/3 cup flour. Not proportional?
What will it be? Should you translate the products or consider the recipe to be wrong?

Alex, sorry, I was away in the summer, I missed your question. I think that you have already figured out what's what. But, if you will allow me, I will note that your HP is slightly smaller than mine, it is hardly possible to bake bread weighing 1000g in it, so the dough ran away. As for the recipe, everything is correct. I am sorry that your first bread did not work out.

Lena, I noticed that the amount of yeast in the recipes is very different. It depends on the ingredients, the proofing and baking regime. I think you need to try, even if something goes wrong, you will still be happy to eat YOUR bread, and correct the recipe if necessary. Good luck!

Thank you for your timely response and promptness. My Tefal is an analogue of Mulinex, your recipe contains everything that is in mine, only I have less yeast.
Here is your
Warm water 400 ml
Salt 2 tsp
Sugar 1 tbsp. l.
Wheat flour 700 g
Fast acting dry yeast 1.5 tsp

Here is my
Warm water 300 ml
Salt 1.5 tsp
Sugar 1 tbsp. l.
Wheat flour 500 g
Fast acting dry yeast 0.5 tsp

Could there be any excuse?

abksar
Merri Thanks for answering...
According to the instructions for my HP - she is able to bake bread up to 1.2 kg and this is not my first bread.
But you're right in the recipe we are with the moderator figured out!

It is strange that bread weighing 1000g escaped! Maybe also because of the difference in the baking mode?
I'm in my only one recipe I can bake bread for 1500 g, it rises with a dome under the very roof, but does not fall off and does not run.Other recipes for 1500g do not work (or falls off, or hangs from the edges on the shade).

Thank you!

Lena, well, actually not enough. I have a basic recipe for white bread for 600 g flour 2 tbsp. l. sugar, 2 tsp. salt, 2 tbsp. l. sunflower oil and 1.5 g of dry fast-acting yeast.
Although, who knows, for my character I would try as it is, and then correct it, I wonder if it works out or not, it can raise it well.

I made 2 pieces: one just flour + yeast + water and salt - did not rise, and the second French: with butter, sugar (program 2) did not rise either.
Lena I
Today I made French bread 560 g flour + 1 1/3 cups water + 1 1/2 salt +1/2 sugar + 1 1/4 yeast and 1 1/2 baking powder and 3 dried tomatoes. Program 2. It turned out great.
Merri
Lena, how clever you are that you have tried everything and found your recipe. The stoves are different, the products are also different, nothing can be guaranteed without a sample.

Thanks for the support.
I wish you happiness.

Eugene, you have the same HP as mine, so the bread should look the same. Not much salt for this recipe.

Thanks for the answer. So far I don't understand much, I am slowly understanding ...
I made this bread again the other day, it turned out smoother, but irregularities were also present. I study the forum further.

Yes, everything is fine with the salt.
Are you okay with the crust color?
I always get a light crust at any settings, but I want a dark one.
Merri
Eugene, but it depends on the specific HP. For example, I bake everything on a light crust, it turns out a beautiful golden one.

A very good bread recipe. True, I have grown a little bolder and have not just counted 500 grams. a bun, but also inserted her 5 kopecks into the recipe.
200 ml. = water + egg + 50 ml. milk
350 gr. wheat flour
1 tsp salt
1 tbsp. l. Sahara
1 medium onion
1 tbsp. l. olive oil for frying onions
50 gr. soft cheese (finely diced)
1 tsp Saf-moment yeast
The bread is very airy and high. And the aroma of freshly baked bread with onions was such that I thought that the neighbors would come running)))
