Ingredients

serum 1 l
flour 500 g
eggs 5 pieces
salt 1 tsp
sugar 2 - 4 tbsp. l.
soda 1 tsp
sunflower oil 90 ml

Cooking method

  • On the eve of Maslenitsa, I had a lot of whey, so I began to look for recipes for pancakes with it. This recipe seemed interesting to me ... I baked it - and did not regret it!
  • Bring half a liter of whey to a boil. Beat eggs with salt and sugar. Continuing to beat, pour in the boiling whey in a quiet way. The eggs are not curdled. Without stopping whipping (at high speed), pour in the remaining half a liter of whey in a thin stream (leave a little to quench the soda), while the mass greatly increases in volume, so take more dishes, I did in a saucepan.
  • Extinguish baking soda in the remaining whey.
  • Then gradually add flour and whey with soda to the custard mixture. The dough should be pretty runny, like vegetable oil. If it is thick, then you can add boiling water.
  • Add sunflower oil to the finished dough.
  • Bake pancakes over medium heat, you do not need to grease the pan with oil, only the first time.
  • Pour it thin.
  • Any filling, according to your taste. I did it with meat and cabbage. Try it, I highly recommend it!

Only my first pancakes were very soft, and the longer the dough stood, the harder the pancakes became ((Maybe due to the fact that I boiled all the whey. Or maybe because that I added hot water, maybe there was a bit too much flour .. I don't know. But that didn't stop the pancakes from flying away in 10 minutes with tea))
