Pea soup with smoked breast (Cuckoo 1054)

Ingredients

Smoked chicken breast 1 pc (crooop)
Potatoes 5 pcs (not large
Peas -2 m. St.
Carrot 1 PC
Onion 1 PC
Salt, pepper, seasonings to taste
Greens to taste

Cooking method

  • Cut the potatoes into cubes, finely chop the onion, three carrots on a grater (not fine). We wash the split peas, do not soak.
  • We place the whole breast in the cuckoo's bowl, put all the products in the same place, salt, pepper, add the herbs you like.
  • Add water to 3L, mix everything. We select the Multi-cook mode, the temperature is 105 degrees (Natasha recommends 102, I did it at 105, but she cooks on raw meat) for 25 minutes.

Note

Natasha Berezka shared the cooking technology of this recipe with cuckoo clab, for which many thanks to her.
Yesterday I was going to cook pea soup, but I could not find smoked ribs in any store, so it was decided to cook a soup from smoked chicken breast.
The soup turned out to be very good, the peas were boiled as the doctor ordered.
I also liked that on the smoked breast, well, just great.

Yes, my husband tried it yesterday, he said tastefully. The smell was really tempting

Delicious! And from all sorts of feasts, I put smoked snacks into the freezer, which are not eaten up (well, there are bacons or uncooked smoked carbonatics) and what you need in pea soups!

Tanyulya cooked with raw smoked bones, whole peas, did not soak, just washed.
Time set 15 minutes. (I even noted not more for myself) true T * was 120. The soup is very tasty, but if I had put more time, it would have turned into mashed potatoes.
Onions, carrots are pre-fried in the "oven". And smoked bones could be chewed
I know ... I know ... tell me they do not recommend 120 *, but it hurts me to sometimes like to cook on it.

I also adore the temperature of 120 degrees, but for many recently, liquid comes out through the valve at 120 degrees, so we recommend the latter to cook soups up to 110 degrees.
But I prefer to cook meat exactly at 120.

Sorry, I got into your message

I also try not to abuse it, with sour cream, with a large amount of liquid.
110 * is also a good temperature. Sometimes I take the compromise option 112 * -115 *, it hurts when the bones are soft

Is it only in a cuckoo that peas boil so quickly or in any cartoon?

I don’t remember about Panasonic, I haven’t used it for a long time, but in a cuckoo you can put less time.

Just made pea soup in a slow cooker. Did I understand everything correctly that the cuckoo boiled peas in 25 minutes at a temperature of 120 degrees? Is this multi-cooker mode?

Real time is not 25 minutes, but a little over an hour. at a temperature of 105 degrees.

I cooked for 20 minutes - it's a terrible overkill! Peas to smithereens. Next time I will be 12 minutes. But in general, the taste is atpad! I never thought that pea soup could be easy. On a chicken it turns out just like that - tasty and not heavy.

Yeah, peas are puree, but mine is exactly what they love.

Didn't you pour too much water?
You have kept the temperature. You will flush the valve and do steam cleaning! Otherwise, the valve may stick and you will have to clean it.
I have pea soup, and in general the soup never "ran away", even though I cooked it at high temperatures.
Be sure to steam clean to avoid trouble.

3 liters of water, as per the recipe. 1 time I cooked 2 months ago, everything was fine, but today I ran away) can I put t102? thanks for the advice, I have already cleaned it on steam cleaning) in fact, thank you very much for being there !!! without you she would have stood and gathered dust!

Thanks for the kind words. You must cook, there is nothing complicated about a cuckoo, an ordinary slow cooker, if you are always told how and what to do.
Good luck
