Red fish with bacon baked in foil.

Ingredients

red fish steaks or fillet portions by the number of eaters
lemon 1 PC
bulb onions 1 PC
spices, salt taste
bacon strips by the number of servings
foil

Cooking method

  • Salt / pepper portions of fish, leave for 10-15 minutes.
  • Cut the lemon into thin slices. Cut the onion into slices too. Several cups of lemon and several cups of onion per serving.
  • Turn on the oven to preheat.
  • Put a circle of lemon on the foil (1-2 sheets), on top - fish. Put another 1-2 slices of lemon on the fish, put a few rounds of onion on top of the lemon. On top of the onion is a strip (or maybe even more than one) of bacon.
  • Red fish with bacon baked in foil.
  • Wrap up in foil - there will be a lot of juice and we do not need to lose it. I collect the foil as if with a bag upwards and then gently crush it so that no holes remain.
  • Put on a baking sheet and send to a preheated oven for 25-30 minutes.
  • Unfold gently, there will be a lot of broth
  • Red fish with bacon baked in foil.

Time for preparing:

about 45 minutes

Cooking program:

in the oven

Note

I use ready-made bacon - is it salted or smoked in vacuum packaging? - I never thought about how this miracle is prepared

Bon Appetit!

How delicious it is! I took it to the bookmarks.

Uh-huh! It's incredibly delicious! If you wish, you can skip the bacon and the amount of lemon and onion, too, according to personal preferences. I like lemon to fish more

Successful recipe, about to repeat it again ..
Although..
I don't have bacon in it, but the fish is very tender ...

Stasya, so I thought, why add bacon to fish?

Gin, and what does bacon give fish?

Ilmira, salmon, if not salmon and trout, dry fish is enough, here raw smoked (judging by the photo) bacon is ingeniously used instead of fat.

Tatyana, well, I had no other option. We just don't have dry red fish. Sterlet and sturgeon are very fatty in themselves and therefore need not be supplemented with bacon.

I read it as a question and answered

tada we are coming to you !!! (from)
The well-fed does not understand the hungry: we have sterlet, sturgeon and fatty salmon - a delicacy, and therefore expensive.
And if you embellish pink salmon / chum salmon with bacon, I agree that in most cases in our longitude it will taste better.
I haven't tried it myself, really.

But for my taste, both lemon and onion are superfluous.

Tatyana, We have this fish local, but seasonal, and it is very difficult to store it, well, almost useless. The longest storage is from summer-autumn to New Year. And even then, if you do not try, then it is already impossible to eat fish on New Year's, since its fat is very delicate and oxidizes very quickly. And I love fish in any form, with lemon, and with onions, and without them

Ilmira, don't go tada
and if you salt and freeze already salted?

Tatyana, the trial experience is great, but no result. It is not stored even salted-frozen, in the sense that it cannot be stored for a long time, it is oxidized in any form. And rancid fish oil ... well, there's nothing to say about it, everyone knows its terrible smell, color and taste, brrrrr! Very delicate and fastidious fish. So we eat it only in season from the heart.
