Ingredients

Loin (ideally lamb, I have moose) 1 kg.
Garlic 3tooth.
Natural yoghurt 250g.
Turmeric 1h l.
Bulb onions 2 pcs.
Whole cumin 2h l.
Whole carnation 1h l.
Whole coriander 1 st. l.
Cardamom 6boxes
Garam masal 1h l.
Vegetable oil for frying 2st. l.

Cooking method

  • it is better to take spices whole and grind in a mortar just before cooking. Then the meat will be more flavorful.
  • Cut the onion into rings, chop the garlic, fry until transparent. Add yogurt, all spices except garam masala, stir and bring to a boil.
  • Put the meat in the resulting sauce, mix. If desired, leave for a while.
  • Put together with the sauce in a baking bag or dish with a lid.
  • Bake in the oven for 1.5-2 hours at a temperature of 200-180C.
  • 10 minutes before the meat is ready, open the bag, dilute the garam masal with a small amount of the juice that has been released, pour over the meat.
  • Serve with couscous.

Note

I can say that I got great pleasure already at the stage of grinding the spices in a mortar. Such a scent !!!!!
