Ingredients

Onion 1 PC.
Carrot 1 PC.
Beet 1-2 pcs.
Potatoes 4 things.
Cabbage 300 g
Rust oil (for frying) 50 g

Cooking method

  • The borscht recipe already exists, there are so many of us and ways to cook it, but I have a Panasonic multicooker, and no one has yet placed the preparation in it.
  • So it may be useful to someone. After the appearance of a multicooker in my house, I cook first courses only in it, because it turns out very tasty (satisfying) and without meat. And an important plus after I filled the blanks with water, the process takes place without me ...
  • We turn on the MV in the "baking" mode - fry the onions, carrots, meat (if with it), beets (I rub them on a fine grater), add tomato paste, fry, turn off this mode.
  • We turn on the stewing mode (1 hour) - put potatoes, cabbage, soaked beans, pour boiled water up to mark 8, add spices to taste ... close the lid and go to work or about our business, and the borschik will wait for you hot.

Recently, I have been cooking borsch with boiled beets (purchased and of very good quality).

On a grater or in a blender, I grind it, put tomato paste + salt, sugar + slightly acidify with apple cider vinegar + a little sunflower oil and fry a little in a frying pan.

I fry onions with carrots in a slow cooker, add cabbage and fry for a little for 5 minutes, put the whole potatoes without cutting and pour boiling water from a kettle just above the vegetables and turn on the Stew / vegetables mode for 1 hour.

I take out the potatoes and knead them almost to mashed potatoes and put them back into the bowl and let them boil for about 5 minutes.

Then I put pickled tomatoes with paprika and tomato paste punched in a blender, add water, taste for salt and, if necessary, add sugar. I prefer sweet and sour borscht, not just sour.

I put on the soup for 15 minutes and spread the beetroot roast.

As soon as the borsch begins to boil actively, I turn off the greens (parsley, dill, celery) and finely chopped garlic.

I take out the bowl from the multicooker, cover it with the pan and let the borscht brew for 20-30 minutes outside the multicooker. Otherwise, discoloration of borscht and beets occurs.

Salted pickled tomatoes give a special taste to borscht, but I also add fresh ones when I fry onions and carrots. For the first time I tasted the delicious borscht cooked by my husband's aunt while visiting her.

I adapted it in my m / in Tefal and got what I wanted!
