Millet porridge "Dandelion"

Category: Dishes from cereals and flour products
Millet porridge Dandelion

Ingredients

Millet 1 tbsp.
water 3 tbsp.
Bulb 1 PC.
Vegetable oil 25 ml
Salt 1/2 dec. l. or to taste
Potato 1 PC.
Egg 1 PC.

Cooking method

  • Rinse the millet and scald with boiling water so that it does not taste bitter. In a saucepan suitable for the oven, boil water, toss the millet and at once add a very finely chopped onion, finely grated potatoes, oil, salt and an egg beaten a little with a fork, mix well. Cover and simmer in the oven for 40-50 minutes at a temperature of 140 0FROM.
  • I do all these dishes in the cartoon. I put the millet in a multi saucepan, poured it with boiling water, added everything according to the recipe and the "Milk porridge" mode (so it was not dry).

Note

I hadn’t cooked millet before, but here I bought it recently and was looking for a recipe. It turned out very tasty, especially with meat !!!!!!! Only next time I fry the onion a little or very, very finely cut it, otherwise I came across pieces. My baby really liked this porridge, ate a full plate and still stretched, so it's a great option for mothers-grandmothers.

I made it yesterday! Delight!
Thanks for the recipe! In fact, sometimes millet cooked milk, but so that for a side dish
Even my husband ate (though with meat);) I'm running with a plus sign!

Virgins, I'm a brake, I cooked in a pressure cooker, threw everything in and immediately, when I turned it on, I turned around and saw ... an egg

Well? so tasty, better than one millet, I cooked in butter, tenderly. Girls! and what does the egg give? and how do you throw it? blabbed and into the water? oh, I'm afraid it will curl up somehow ...

Irusik, thanks for the porridge, has already bowed to you (15 minutes were enough in the pressure cooker. This is infa for pressure cookers)

I cooked it, now I will eat ... my husband asks to cook millet, I resist, or rather my daughter

I'll tell you in order! Beat the egg a little with a fork and pour it into a saucepan, stirring vigorously. My protein does not fold. I think that the egg gives viscosity, well, the taste changes a little!
IRRpoints, awesome cartoon !!!! I watched it as a child, but now it sounds completely different !!!!!! So now we will be full of our "Dandelion Suns" and we will have "fat cheeks" !!!
Girls, everyone's health !!!!!!

Girls, you infected me with this porridge: rose: Tell me, please, do you use a glass from multi? and how much of it is obtained? - I need to rinse the millet with water, drain and then pour boiling water, drain again and then according to the recipe? Forgive me for the darkness, but I cook only buckwheat and wheat from cereals - that's why I have so many questions at once
koziv
I used the usual 250 ml glass, but I get a lot of porridge, about 5 servings.About millet everything is so - rinse with water and pour boiling water over and drain. And about the questions - so we all learn from each other!
nut
Thank you - so today is porridge for dinner
