Salmon soup with cream

Ingredients

salmon (or trout) fillet 0.5KG
cream 0,5l
onion 1 large or 2 small
carrot 2 pcs
a tomato 2-3 pcs
potatoes 4-5 medium
boiled water 2.5 l
olive oil 3 tbsp. l.

Cooking method

  • Chop the onion finely, grate the carrots. Pour olive oil into the bottom of a saucepan (I have 4 liters), sauté the onion until golden brown, add the carrots and simmer for 7-10 minutes. Peeled the tomatoes, cut into cubes and add to the onion and carrot. Simmer for another 10 minutes. Add 2.5 liters of boiling water and chopped potatoes to the saucepan (size depends on preferences, I cut into small cubes). Season with salt and pepper to taste (depending on the salinity of the fish). Cook potatoes until half cooked. Cut the fish into cubes (3 * 3 cm), add to the soup, cook for another 15 minutes (until the fish is ready). Then add the cream by pouring it onto a spoon to avoid curdling. As it boils, remove from the stove. Let it brew for 10-15 minutes (this is the most difficult)
