Ingredients

beef 500 g
pearl barley 100 g
potatoes 500 g
pickled cucumber 200 g
pickle pickle 200 ml
medium onion 150 g
carrot 150 g
fresh herbs, bay leaf, peppercorns, salt optional

Cooking method

  • Pickle (Cuckoo 1054)
  • Cut the meat into small pieces. Rinse the barley, pour boiling water over it. Peel the potatoes, cut into small pieces or cubes. Finely chop the onion. Grate the carrots on a medium grater. Cut the cucumbers into strips. Also add cucumber pickle, bay leaf, pepper. Place all food in the cuckoo bowl. Drain the barley and pour it into a bowl.
  • Salt, add water up to 6, mix. Select mode Stew.
  • After the end of the Stew mode, pour the pickle from the multicooker bowl into a saucepan, add water or broth to the thickness of the soup you need, add greens, capers, for some reason I wanted it! They are not in the recipe. Check for acid and salt to taste (I always add a little more sugar). If necessary, correct the taste of the pickle. Boil for 5 minutes.
  • The pickle is ready! You can serve it with sour cream. Bon Appetit!

If you do not like barley, then you can replace it with rice. If you do not want to dilute the finished dish, then select the required amount of ingredients, observing the proportions in the recipe or at your discretion, based on the size of the bowl.
I cooked in a pre-cooked broth and diluted with broth. I got a four-liter saucepan of pickle of the thickness I need!

Yes, I noticed that the food from the multicooker requires less salt.In order not to be mistaken, I salt the ingredients a little in the bowl, and then I bring the finished dish to taste in the saucepan. This also applies to acid in borscht and pickle, as well as sugar in these dishes.
