Halva sesame black (tahini)

Ingredients

wheat flour 3/4 cup
butter 30 g
honey 30 g
sugar 1/3 cup
salt pinch
sesame seeds black 3/4 cup
mix of nuts optional 1/4 cup

Cooking method

  • Halva sesame black (tahini)
  • Add a third of a glass of water to the sugar and boil the syrup. Cool until warm. Fry flour with salt and butter until lightly browned. Sesame also fry a little and grind into a paste, I do this in a coffee grinder. Nuts - for me these are walnuts, hazelnuts and pine nuts - also grind, but not so finely. Now, intensively mixing the mass, we combine all the components - add nuts, sesame paste, honey and syrup to the flour. We remove from heat, cool, give the desired shape and send it to the refrigerator for an hour.

The dish is designed for

8-10 servings

Time for preparing:

90 minutes

Note

For lovers of traditional taste, I recommend using white sesame in this recipe, it does not have the same spicy taste and aroma as black. Black gives this dessert a touch of Indian flavor. Either way, sesame has amazing benefits! It is rich in copper, manganese, tryptophan (an essential amino acid), iron, phosphorus, zinc, vitamins. Sesame is the champion among other foods in terms of calcium content. Even dairy products look pale against the background of sesame seeds for this indicator. Sesame seeds contain calcium (according to various sources) from 1160 to 1474 mg / 100g. Thanks to vitamins, which are contained in large quantities in sesame, takhinny halva promotes the development of vision, improves the functioning of the nervous system, strengthens the immune system, and soothes asthma.

Compared well (assuming no donkey ears)! I'll get it, this can!
Ikra
A-ahh! How I love these black skeletons! dopleta, this is a very fun recipe design! Thank you!
I just wanted to clarify: when we combine all the products, do we do it on fire? Then why cool the syrup?
dopleta
Thank you, Ikra ! And I cooled the syrup until warm, so that, just in case, the flour would not be boiled in boiling. And then mixing occurs very quickly and not on a hot frying pan, so brewing will no longer occur.
Ikra
Now it is clear
And what kind of molds are these - with fish skeletons?
dopleta
Yes, I have such molds 🔗

You can cook a thick syrup instead of honey.

Thank you, enlightened! I didn't know that halva is SO useful!
However
And what is the cross in place of the eye of the former fish?)
dopleta
Apparently, an uneaten head dangles on the ridge with a hole from a dropped (or eaten) cruciform eye.
However

However, thanks for picking up the recipe, otherwise I would never see it.
Blinded from white sesame seeds. It is still in the refrigerator. I want to pour some chocolate over afterwards.
