Ingredients

Egg yolks 5 pieces
Hot water 5 tbsp. l.
Sugar 100 g
Lemon zest
Flour 150 g
baking powder 1/2 tsp
Egg whites 5 pieces
Rum 1 tbsp. l
Icing

Cooking method

  • Baked biscuit waffles.
  • Beat the yolks, water, sugar and zest, gradually add rum, flour, baking powder, whipped whites. Add proteins carefully, without a mixer. I don't add zest.

If alcohol is added after baking, then replace with any syrup, and if in the dough, then replace with cognac or just alcohol if there is no rum. When baking, all alcohol vapor will evaporate.
