Iruska, yes I read how you changed. I chose from many pieces with a device ... which I do not have ... and chose for myself
the one with the device only to wipe the store's nose - otherwise they began to tell that it could not be, that the temperature is low, etc.

Nel, I will say this - if you dry not in small volumes - then yes, it will be too small. Either Breeze or Dry Wind is more suitable for you.
I didn't need large volumes, and besides, such a parameter as noise during work is very important to me (everything is standing in her apartment) - Zelmer passed this test perfectly - the drying is quiet, it can work in the room with me, and I'm on the Bread Maker - it doesn't bother me at all

Irus, grandiose plans! Fruit, finally, this year will be a lot. Apricots branches are bursting, apples-pears will be. The cherry is already ripening.
And the basement is packed with jam, I said and I will not cook again since it does not go with us.
The noise of the dryer does not scare me))) I will definitely not put it in the kitchen - there is no place to shove it, and there is a summer kitchen or a gazebo for this.
Today I talked with a neighbor, did not even know that she had Zelmer. She said that it was not bad ... but it dries a little and takes a long time. So that year, she first dried it on baking trays on the street, and then dried it in Zelmera.
But this option does not suit me. I have no time and laziness to arrange dances with a tambourine

Sister you just read my thoughts!

Ira, isn't it difficult for you to measure the height of the pallet in Zelmer?

Nelya, there I looked at the Sukhovoy with the regulator, so it is stated there that the temperature is regulated from 30 to 70 degrees, and in the Sukhovoy buz the regulator has a constant operating temperature of 60. Do I need to lower the temperature, I doubt something, at least I have such a need definitely did not arise, but to make it higher, sometimes I wanted to. How tangible is the difference of 10 degrees, this already needs to be asked around from the owners of dryers with adjustments

Lowering the temperature is needed to dry the greens.I read that greens should be dried at t * 35-40g.
Katya, I liked in Sukhoveya-8 the presence of both a thermal switch (protection against overheating) and a thermostat (to maintain the set temperature),
power 600w. If I understood correctly there the operating mode is 10 hours, 1 hour turns off, rests and again 10 hours of work. Yes, and 8 pallets immediately included, without additional problems.
That's all ... I want her! And de take it?

I'm going to find out! But the price of 850g will confuse my husband. I just agreed with him yesterday on 650g, implying that I will throw 50-100g into a quiet one ... I sigh heavily ... I'll have to save again ...

In the dry wind it is written 3cm and I think this depth is enough for me. I did not find such information about other drying.

Super! I didn't need a dryer after AG. Now I have read a lot - I really need it! Now I will wait for your receipt results.

Here's what I found about Veterok

About dry wind

nila
just spoke at the firm. I ordered Sukhovey Mp 8, but when she said what I would do and marshmallow, including the girl, she said that Toda is better than Sukhovey M: girl_cray: there is a blowing circulating ... to order it
right now my husband will come hungry, a transde ... I do nothing, I sit, I choose ...

Nelya, go feed sponsor husband! Then you choose. I thought so - you need to go to the market, there is more choice. You can pretend to be a teapot - touch, ask around. Thoughts clever can come to mind and come.

Here I found a little information about how the Dryers differ from each other.
I'm trying to find the official website of the manufacturer (schetmash-eleka), but something doesn't seem to be there.
Nathalte
From my own observations of dryers.
I also chose for a long time, shoveled a bunch of sites, forums, asked everyone I could. What I wanted: to dry and some bells and whistles such as a screen, a timer and other things. It seemed to me that a small volume would be enough, well, something to dry: a little tomatoes, greens, pepper. So there are 5 pallets, diameter 30 cm - a lot will fit. Then I walked around and looked at what is on sale. Sukhovey and Sukhovey-M brushed aside at once: it seemed to me that the pallets were too low and the color did not lie on my soul. Plus I read about the impossibility of adjusting the temperature in M, but the ability to make marshmallows. For me, this is not the main thing, so it was brushed aside. And then I went to Eldorado and looked at Zelmer just (everything worked out in one day). So it turned out that compared to the same Dry Hove, it is very small! Feels tiny, the plastic is transparent. A toy, not a dryer. I imagined how many times it would be necessary to drive her to dry something from my garden. I consulted with my mother (they have a Rotor), I found out their diameter. And in that which became decisive when buying Veterka-2: 1. diameter 39 cm.
2. total displacement - 20 liters (or so).
3. You can put up to 2 kg on a pallet (when drying a tomato, I think this is important).
4. Not the most important thing, but still: the power is 600W.
5. Thermostat and protection against overheating (you can leave it overnight and not be afraid, if anything).
Now what was missing: the timer is still, but then the husband promised to make it into the socket somehow. And the power would be turned off when the temperature was turned off (or decreased). Regardless of the temperature, it still eats 600 watts. Too many, but there are no options in this case, only Isidri, but for me it is very expensive.
Grypana
Natasha, thanks for this information! Does Veterok dry and dry fish-meat? In terms of fit? Oops, I read it already, the height of the pallets is 4 cm.
Zima
Thank you Natasha. I'm sitting - studying, by the way Veterok -2 is for 5, and there is for 6 pallets.
And yet, there is such a thing in the description. The presence of a special insert for fat allows you to carry out curing of meat and fish without contaminating the product. - what is it like?
nila
The more I read and conclude that each dryer has its advantages, but there are also disadvantages: girl_sad: To connect everything + and - I have to take Isidri, but they don’t give me that kind of money
Quote: Nathalte

Sukhovey and Sukhovey-M brushed aside at once: it seemed to me that the pallets were too low and the color did not fall on my soul.
Still, I correctly doubted that 3cm is too low? This is a minus ... but a plus in Dry Hove M is pallets with a side slot for horizontal air supply to each pallet. I correctly understood that such pallets are only in Sukhovoya M?
And the height of the pallet is 3 cm in all series of the Dry Wind?
I like Veterok 2, but what pallets are there I can't understand: - \ Natasha, did you find that 4 cm?
Grypana

The electric dryer (electric dryer) for vegetables and fruits VETEROK-2 ESOF-0.6 / 220 (increased productivity - 6 plastic pallets with a diameter of 39 cm) is designed for drying vegetables, fruits, berries, mushrooms and herbs at home.
The presence of a special insert for fat allows you to carry out curing of meat and fish without contaminating the product.
The dryer for vegetables and fruits VETEROK-2 is a modernized and more efficient version of the well-proven electric dryer VETEROK. While maintaining the best qualities of VETERKA, namely, rational and efficient distribution of warm air flows, the optimal ratio of the power of the heating element and the fan electric motor, the use of only high-quality materials, the VETEROK-2 Electric Dryer significantly exceeds VETEROK in terms of fruit loading volume by about 1.5 times and, therefore, productivity ...
Zima
Nathalte,
can you also compare Veterok and Rotor? They seem to be similar in appearance and characteristics, but the Rotor is cheaper and for me it is more affordable
Nathalte
The fat tray is a plastic plate. It is placed, as I understand it, on the lowest main pallet. I haven't tried it myself yet, but it looks quite good.
The pallets in Veterka are definitely higher than in any drier place, I compared. I specially measured it - 5 cm. Side airflow is important if you actively prepare marshmallow (and it seems to me that they spoke here without it, but I can't say).Yes, I have 6 pallets. I decided that it is better to run more than to run and buy in addition.
Zima, I can only compare with the Rotor virtually. Well, a little less power in the rotor is not the point, because there are 520 watts, and here 600. By the way, the parents have just 520 (only they do not remember what it is called). Slightly less total volume. See if there is overheating protection, usually it is written in the characteristics. And look at the height of the pallets. Purely visually, it seems that it is a little lower. Otherwise, everything is the same. and if the Rotor is more accessible, then feel free to take it. For me, the price was also important, but for some reason the Rotor is almost not represented here.
By the way, what else attracted me: Veterok 2 needs to be turned off every 10 hours, not for an hour, but only for 10 minutes. This seemed important to me, since everything else, including the Dry Wind, needs to be turned off for an hour. although it is possible that in fact it does not matter, well, it will stand for an hour. I just reasoned that at night you can wait 10 minutes, if anything, but an hour is problematic.
Zima
Thanks for the detailed answer!

Sashel,! Let's be friends families dryers: rose: Mine! Breeze 2 on 6 pallets is already drying 4.5 kg of strawberries!
They just brought him in, quickly cut the strawberries into chips and sent them to dry.

By the way ... maybe someone will come in handy)))
strawberries were cut into chips with a Krauff egg cutter. Tried with Nayser +, not good, the upper grill crushes the strawberries. But the egg cutter, strings are very convenient. My daughter was cutting ... she put her on the Nyser's trough and the strawberries were cut with strings and thrown into the trough.

irysska, I ordered after long ordeals Veterok 2. I decided to wait to get in touch with online stores))) I was afraid of shipments (the thing is fragile) ... and listen to Natasha Grypana and look for availability in our city. I went shopping, the choice is deplorable. I went to the market, and there is Veterok 2 in one kiosk. Despite its price of 750g, I almost took it. It was only the size of the box that stopped me, with my height I only had to drag it, there were no hryvnias left for a taxi. Agreed that my husband would come and pick up after the weekend.
And leaving the bazaar, I went to the kiosk, where I bought my 1 MB and talked with the saleswoman. I told her about Isidri, how Sukhovey M differs from Veterok ... in short, I enlightened ... it was not in vain that I spent a week on the forum. She told me so - you at least enlightened me the pancake sellers ... and like, in gratitude, she promised to find out where you can get Veterok 2 cheaper. And yesterday she called me back that she found and, wildly apologizing, offered a price of 680g, they say it couldn't be cheaper ... That, of course, I agree, because this is the price of an online store. So she also promised me to bring her almost home, which she did today.

Natasha, with your hint I found it!Breeze blowing almost outside. Standing under a canopy, where my husband sleeps in the summer ... but has not yet moved. I thought it would make a lot of noise, make me carry it to the summer kitchen ... but Veterka is almost inaudible! The electric kettle boils louder!
And he's so huge! clearly not for a small kitchen!
I went to study the topic, otherwise I wasn’t prepared for something. When I cut the strawberries, I quickly started looking for something to put them on ... that is, how to cover the pallets ... I did not find anything and put it directly on the pallets. Now I am worried that I will not pick it off tomorrow ... it will stick tightly

Drying is advised to store in linen, cotton cloth bags. But I still look, I control. In jars, too. I have basil, dry parsley, dill stored in jars - it's okay. But it doesn't hurt to control.
