yes, with a fan. It blows very strongly. By the way, the Breeze is quite powerful - 500 W, therefore it dries quickly

Is it possible not only to dry, but also to dry fruit in dryers Sukhovei MP and Veterok 2+? For example like this https://Mcooker-enn.tomathouse.com/index.php@option=com_smf&topic=139116.0 ? Is it possible to dry meat and fish in Sukhovoe MP? In Veterka it seems possible.
And another question, how important is the height of the pallets? What are tall pallets for?
When drying fruit, do you need to spread the slices in a thin layer and shouldn't you put the slices on top of each other? If so, are more pallets preferable for drying? I choose between these 2 dryers, I just can't decide what to buy. I don't want to spend under 10 thousand on Isidri, although this dryer is suitable for all parameters.
Nathalte
In Veterka it is definitely possible. I think it's drier too, since you can make marshmallow there. Yes, everything should be in one layer, because it dries evenly. If you put a lot, then you then have to somehow somehow (fruits and everything else on the pallet), then rustle, otherwise the bottom layer dries quickly, and the top layer is wet. In Veterka I liked the load of 2 kg per pallet - it seems not always necessary, but it's nice that there is. Here dad dried the fish, just on a pallet about 2 kg raw and fit, however, he did not do it in one layer and turned it over from time to time. And the tall pallets came in handy. Yes, Isidri is suitable, of course, for everything, but the price is not for everyone, it turned out to be a little expensive for me))) you also look at these two dryings in nature, suddenly some will like more. Outwardly, I didn't like the dry windy, and there are fewer pallets, but the price is the same.
Gala308
Nathalte, thanks for the answer.
I am considering the option of Sukhoveya MP8 and there it is just that there are more pallets, 8 versus 6 in Veterka. It will not work, I have to order in the online store tomorrow morning so that they will be delivered by Monday.
Is there a shutdown of the electric dryer in case of overheating in both Sukhoveya and Veterka?
Nathalte
I can't say for sure about Dry Hove, but they seemed to write that yes, but in Veterka there is for sure. If the number of pallets is important to you, take the Dry Hose, because in fact they are all the same anyway.
Gala308
And yet I ordered Veterok. I counted the area of the pallets in these 2 dryers - it turns out about the same, in Sukhovoya a little more. But purely outwardly, I like Veterok more, although a huge plus of Dry Hove is that marshmallows from Isidri are suitable.
Girls, how thick should apples be for drying? Can apples be cut with a Korean carrot shredder that produces mugs? I cut it for testing, the thickness of the piece is about 1.5 mm. Is it too little or is it normal?
Admin
Can be cut with any knives, tools, table knives and so on. Optimally cut into a thickness of about 5 mm., The apples dry out well and are obtained of the desired thickness in the finished form, in chips. I ask for advice, my Summer resident 4 is not doing well, I want to buy another Dry Wind. Of the three models 8, M8 and MP8 - vortex flows for marshmallow only for M8? The other two marshmallows are not dried, or does the MP8 dry? It's just the M8 without a temperature regulator, I don't know - maybe I really don't need it if I have a Summer Resident? Or should I not cling to the marshmallow (also leave the Summer Resident, although he seems to make it much longer) and take Dry Hove 8 - it holds the most, and the metal below, and the thermostat ???

I have a problem with the marshmallow. The fact that there would be no "native" pallets for marshmallow, I realized and resigned myself to the prospect of cutting paper circles. But how do you know how many tiers you can dry? After all, I somehow do not want to spend electricity all night on one tube of marshmallow (

What kind of dryer do you have? 🔗
What if you try this:
Cut not circles, but triangles with a radius equal to the radius of the pallet. Place these triangles not close to each other, but with a gap equal to your triangle.
Turn the higher-level pallet so that your triangles with marshmallows are not one above the other, but are above the sector without paper with marshmallows. Then there will be normal circulation and blowing of your marshmallow. True, it will be possible to load two times less than the area of your pallets.

Nobody answered, but bought Veterok-2. 735 UAH came out with home delivery.
This is something! I only saw them live, a Chinese trifle, but here it is! Very nice plastic, 6 pallets, stand "for fat", Soviet instructions. In general, this is a gift to mom for others, so it is out of season, but we will test it in the summer. So I think, maybe I also need something? Mom has a dacha, I have a house, but the eternal problem is where to put fruits, mainly with cherries, which are too lazy to peel even with a bone remover, and with apricots, which are not peeled at all. And there are no apples.
Pupstt
Please tell me how many pallets can you hang on Veterok 2? I wanted to buy from 6th and 4 to buy. Or maybe more is possible ...

I read both there and in the internet. Only not everything is clear. I only realized that the best thing is a fan that drives horizontal air, but there is not enough money for this.
I have to choose from a top or bottom fan. If all other parameters fit the recommendations.

If someone uses two dryers with top and bottom heating, write down which one is better.

I bought a 6-pallet Veterok dryer. A good dryer is large. And then we always have a lot of apples and mushrooms in summer and autumn. The husband even drove to St. Petersburg for her. Dried carrots in it, dried up quickly. The apples took longer to dry. Before that, we bought a Ryzhik5super dryer - it is certainly more powerful and dries apples and bananas faster. The meat in Ryzhik is dried for 4 hours.

Good day everyone! Can you please tell me if you buy a dryer with 5 pallets, can they be removed and dried in 3 for example? (I can’t choose in any way, sometimes there is almost no harvest, and sometimes heaps, you do not have time to process, so this question arose.Excuse me if stupid)

Irina, of course, I did it. I had to give it to my mother, so I'll have to take a new one by the summer. I look at the breeze. All winter I use dried carrots, beets, tomatoes, soup mixture.

Girls! Hey! I bought Sukhovey-M with 8 pallets yesterday after much deliberation. At first I wanted Beloma (the manager dissuaded, she said that she could work no more than 4 hours, and then I had to take a break)
As I read here on the forum, the principle of operation of this particular model is like that of Isidrai, that is, there is a gap of about 1 cm between the case wall and the sieve. The air flow passes horizontally, evenly distributed over all trays.
Now I want to buy trays from Isidrai 500 for marshmallow, like I also read what fits

We do not know anything about the dehydrator, there is no way to talk about it yet due to lack of availability.
Rada-dms
Admin, Thank you!! I tuned in for izidri for a long time, but I was knocked off my pants by foreign friends - vegans. So far I have attracted a non-round format, but I have not understood what is the advantage yet. Honestly, you need to make a quick decision - vegetables and fruits are being taken. I understand that in order to cover the entire spectrum of our desires, we must have three types of pallets ??
Admin

The choice depends on your desires and capabilities: make marshmallows, dry a lot or a little, and so on ...
- it is advisable to have nets according to the number of floors, they are designed so that small things do not slip down, and wet vegetables (tomatoes, for example) can be conveniently removed from the pallets
- marshmallow trays - optional.
it is practical to buy trays for pastila and nets according to the number of pallet floors.
Read the topic first, we wrote a lot about it and shared our opinion.

It should be borne in mind that from 1 kg. vegetables are about 100-120 grams of dried finished product, mushrooms, tomatoes, vegetables.

Rada-dms,
I saw the new Sedona (on the internet). Outwardly, I like the old one more, besides, prices for it have dropped slightly due to the release of a new model.
I love her pallets. A coarse mesh, a small one fits into it, you can not put it. It seems to me that the old model is more convenient. Why "simplified" the pallets I do not know.
After reading the topics about dryers here, I immediately ordered 9 silicone rugs. I like Isidri, but pushing her into the cupboards in my kitchen would be problematic.
When choosing, you need to take into account where it will be stored (if it is Isidri) or stand permanently (if Sedona)
In Sedona, you can dry bulky items and even whole fruits if needed. There is a "night mode", I am in the kitchen at night and does not interfere with the day mode.

p. from. just saw, notifications stopped coming on this topic
Rada-dms
Lettera, Thank you! about whole fruits sounds attractive! And in Isidri, this is impossible, as I understood?
Lettera
Rada-dmsIn Isidri and all similar dryers, flat pallets are stacked one on top of the other. Probably, you can dry it whole, but only something completely flat, and in Sedona I dried whole bananas and cut in half (it is more convenient to eat them, although I liked it anyway.) You can remove extra pallets and there will be as much space as you need (by height)

Temperature from 30 to 68 degrees. Changeable in tens or 1 degree (2 buttons) timer up to 99 hours.
Can be used for craft purposes due to its shape and size. You can dry whole bouquets.
It does not dry out quite evenly for me on all "floors" (they write everywhere that it is uniform), but changing the pallets is not difficult. When you open the door, it turns off automatically, you close the door, it turns on.
You can also stand the dough, make yoghurt, leave something to ferment, etc., etc. A good thing if you have somewhere to put

By the way, now they still sell infrared dehydrators, they write that they are even better and more effective and (if my memory serves me, I read that some of them can be used for sterilization)
Rada-dms
Lettera, Wow!!! Thanks for the info, I immediately had an idea about bouquets too! And also the dough !! And I also thought that I always actively use only the technique that is at hand! And getting and collecting is not only lazy for me, but sometimes it is also difficult (taking care of my hands).
While everything is clear, I read about infrared, it's a pity there is no link;)
The Internet in the country is dull, sometimes I am delayed with the answer. Thank you so much!!!

Hello! I really want to join the ranks of users of electric dryers, I already have brains on one side of the choice. It seems that I have decided on all the parameters, there is one question left: which trays are more reliable - transparent or opaque? Somewhere it flashed that transparent ones quickly crack ...
Admin

It all depends on the manufacturer and model of the dryer - talk to users.
Lattice trays are better, because there is more circulation of hot air, which means that drying will be faster and more efficiently.
bernula
Admin, thanks for responding. They are all with bars. For example, two Veterka, like the same, only one transparent, the other not. Which trays are more reliable? Or does it matter?
