Thanks for answers! I ordered an electric dryer, they will bring it soon, I am getting ready for use I must study everything!

Girls, tell me, which is better than a conventional electric dryer or an infrared dryer?
We have large volumes, usually dried in the sun, but there are many problems with such drying. I would like to have an assistant.
Slastena
Girls, I will tell you the dryer - this is a thing and that I used to bypass it before Now I make strawberry chips, a heartbreaking smell, as it were, to make marshmallows, in general, the work is not cranked. Girls, when it is better to dry onions and garlic on the balcony, this procedure is done, I read everything from smells running
milka80
Received extra pallets for my Isidri Snackmaker and my mother's Ultra.
Maybe someone will need a purely visual difference. The smaller ones are Snackmaker.
Choosing an electric dryer - recommendations, what to look for when buying Choosing an electric dryer - recommendations, what to look for when buying

They not only have a different diameter, but also the appearance of the pallets.

Girls, came to cry! The utter grief ... turned off b my dryer is dead and does not want to turn on! I'm desperate! Yesterday I drove the cherry and apricot to juice, added fresh raspberries to the cake, blendarla and on parchment on all the trays. After half an hour, she stopped and that's it! Now I'm finishing the marshmallow with 2 fans turned on.
My husband accuses me that I am guilty because of this marshmallow. She says the marshmallow layer did not allow air to pass through. But at the top, in the well, the air was coming out very well.
I have a complete strike! Apricot started to sprinkle, 2 trees are on the way, apples, I don't know what to do! Jam-compotes disappear ... already full and do not want to! I called the woman who brought me my Veterok 2, she is also in shock. Says, the first case! She promised to find out tomorrow where to take. And also the day off, damn it, we have tomorrow! I will die without her!
irysska
Nelichka, don't cry, honey, - this is a technique, everything happens. Your problem will be solved - either this one will be repaired, or it will be replaced for you.
Breeze dryers generally have a good reputation, so everything will be fine
Olima
Nelichka, do not be upset, honey! I think that everything will be resolved safely.
nila
Girls, how not to get upset if the season is just beginning and the drain of hopes was on her!
I know that Veterok has a good reputation, that everything must be settled! But this takes time, which is now taking place! Even today I was left without work, and the floor of the apricot tree lies on the ground, and my hands dropped on them!
And although I argue with my husbands that it is not the marshmallow to blame ... but in my heart I still have doubts!
irysska
Nel, well, what can you do - but it's all fixable (and this is the main thing), although it takes time. Save your nerves and hold your tail with a pistol
nila
Yes, what really! It is what it is!
I went to collect the apricots ... out of grief and idleness, at least bake some pies!
nila
Everyone, brought my Breeze 2! The husband took it to the SC and gave it to the master for the speed of viewing. The thermal relay went off, that's all.
So I conclude))) all the same, marshmallow on 6 pallets is to blame. This means that in the future I will only fill 2-3 pallets, but I'm not ready to give up the marshmallow yet!
irysska
Nelya, urrrrra I am very, very glad that the issue was resolved so quickly
So that this does not happen again

I told you that everything will be fine!

And there is someone who uses Veterk-2 or Dry Hove for 2-3 years, I want to know the quality of the pallets, otherwise my old dryer (energy) has crumbled pallets after 2 years of use.
reyhan
Hello everyone....I also want to share my joy I bought myself a dehydrator like this:

plans to dry cherries, tomatoes, apples, grapes and most importantly figs like from everything you all wrote this model has everything you need
Grypana
Girls, tell me there are trays for marshmallow in Veterka 2? Or can it be covered with paper? I look at the Miracle, Rotor, Breeze. Pastila is also needed. But since they write in the characteristics, nothing is clear. How many pallets are suitable for marshmallows or not? Advise, hostesses, please.
nila
Natasha! Veterok 2 does not have special pallets for marshmallow. But I do it from parchment and use it more than once. I take 2 sheets 45-46cm long and smooth the edges several times, and then cut out a circle.
But on a 6 pallet it is dangerous to fill. I once filled all the trays, and even with a thick layer, and it turned off for me. The thermal relay has triggered!
Dryer, 6 high pallets and a diameter of 39cm, so there are a lot of interlocks.
I already dried a chicken fillet, like that, and poured a bottle of cherries, now I'm trying whole apricots. 1 batch turned out, even though they burst into pieces.
Grypana
Nelya, thanks! I went into a stupor with a marshmallow. I read here our branches on dryers - who does it, who says if there is no side blowing, it will not work with marshmallow. Already my head is spinning.
nila
Natasha, I thought so too! It turns out great, current, I say, do not get carried away! 3-4 pallets and not thick! And her blowing is strong through the central well.
Grypana
Nelya, through the central one, in the sense of a hole in the center of the pallets? The pallets at Veterok 2 are not solid, but there is a hole in the center, right? I didn’t notice this fact from the video.
nila
Natasha, maybe I didn't put it right ... I was in a hurry to pour the apricot jam. Veterok's pallets are solid, and there is a well on the top lid in the center. It blows well through it.
Grypana
Thank you, Nelya. Got it. And then I compare, compare. In general, already ... I'm waiting ...
nila
Ordered? Where?
Qwex0091
Good day.
I don’t know if a similar topic was raised, but I need help choosing a dryer. Everything would be fine, but I'm a girl with requests, and that's the problem.
I need a dryer in which you can change the temperature mode, with a thermostat, with a net for herbs, and, most intricately, so that you can make marshmallows in it. It is desirable (very) that the kit includes a pallet for this case.
Isidri suits me in terms of functionality, but I hope that there are still cheaper analogs.
I found Belomo 8060 in the network. The description, of course, is tempting, but there are no reviews for it. Maybe someone knows something about her?
Thanks in advance.
nila
Belomo is produced at a Belarusian plant and is sold only on the domestic market, that is, in Belarus.
And there are a lot of reviews on it, but only on their sites. I read!

From there and throughout Russia they deliver.

Something links do not want to be inserted (((
nila
When I was choosing a dryer for myself, I considered the Belomo option, but did not find supplies to Ukraine and calmed down. If there is an opportunity to order to Russia, then you can take it for that kind of money.
But the reviews, as always, were different ... but mostly praised. She's a cheap counterpart to Isidri.
Qwex0091
Thank you for your valuable feedback!
When I was looking for reviews on this model, I came across only a series of "cheap online Isidri", and it is not clear, based on experience or assumptions, they decided so; and one bad one, from a series somewhere someone once wrote ...

So I wrote the same thing ... what I read!
Qwex0091
Well, the probability that we read the same reviews, of course, is, but ... Maybe someone from yours wrote based on experience)
nila
I have not met our reviews ... but read on the official website of the manufacturer. I don’t remember which plant it produces.
Qwex0091
ABOUT! Then we read different reviews for sure.At the office. I didn't think to look at the site
nila
So there you had to go straight to the manufacturer!
Somewhere I was thrown a link, right now I'll look if I find
Here, I found ...Name: OJSC "MMZ named after S. I. Vavilov - the managing company of the holding" BelOMO "

and here I copied the review, after which I burned out with it
"We recently bought this model of the dryer. I really didn’t like the fact that it can only work for 4 hours, and then you have to take a break for 1 hour. (For comparison, in many foreign dryers, the cost is 2 times cheaper, this time is up to 20 hours, which makes it possible to dry food at night). Thanks to this, the food has time to cool, and then it takes time to heat it up again. Therefore, the drying of food is much longer and takes several days. I was very unpleasantly surprised that it was impossible to dry berries on it. I was very discouraged by the phrase from the instructions: "it is forbidden to load the product on the trays installed on the base", that is, out of 5 trays, you can load only 4 products! " More details: https://Mcooker-enn.tomathouse.com/in...tion=com_smf&topic=7326.0
And I also remembered, there are no additional pallets for it.

If you live in Russia, then why don't you consider dryers Sukhovey, Veterok, Wonderful (I've collected medals, goes for export)? They do everything in excellent quality, our girls cook marshmallows in them. We have a topic here on the forum how and what to adapt for marshmallow and drying herbs. The forum brought together excellent users of any technique, everything works out great. On YouTube, you can watch videos and the operation of these units. For example, I looked at the pallets and listened to the noise of the fan.

Here! After someone mentioned this review, I began to doubt. Looks like with Belomo flying

In Dry Hove I was confused by this phrase:
There is no temperature regulator in "Sukhovey M", the dryer constantly operates at the optimum temperature.
I didn't quite understand what I mean.
Nathalte
There are only two positions: on and off. It also embarrassed me, so I took Veterok-2 and was happy.
Qwex0091
And in Veterka-2, can you make marshmallow? I understand that some have adapted a tray for collecting fat for this case. How have you tried it?

I didn't quite understand what I mean.

It means that the isidri, for example, has 3 heating positions 35-50-60 * C, which helps to dry greens 35 * or fruits 60 *

What temperature of the selected dryer you need to look at in the passport, this is what the relay of the dryer will constantly maintain, without changing

I have already read this topic. Then what a question. Maybe I misunderstood something, but there are dryers with a fan on top, bottom and side. Pastila on several levels, then, can only be dried in those where there is a fan on the side and uniform air supply to all levels?
Admin

Many of us have completely different dryers! And we dry everything and everyone in them, from grass to marshmallow and meat!

To understand how your dryer behaves, you must first try to make one pallet of marshmallow, and then understand what exactly your dryer can do, what it is good for, and try to adapt to it.
Qwex0091
This is the problem! I want to know in advance what my dryer will be capable of: if it doesn't suit me, don't buy a new one. I have a problem with the marshmallow. The fact that there would be no "native" pallets for marshmallow, I realized and resigned myself to the prospect of cutting paper circles. But how do you know how many tiers you can dry? After all, I somehow do not want to spend electricity all night on one tube of marshmallow (

What kind of dryer do you have? 🔗
nila
Oh, where is my post? Apparently she was in a hurry and sending, immediately turned off the laptop!
Sobs ... but already answered!
When I was going to take the dryer, marshmallow was also an important factor! Dry wind M was suitable for this, but the impossibility of adjusting t * was also embarrassing. The girls wrote that this does not bother them, but ... constant t * 60 *
Qwex0091, I understand you, I myself went through these torments of choice! I had a whole table compiled with all + and-, but if there are many + in one dryer, but there is always some and -
Only Isidri is a perfect dryer, all our desires coincide there! But if the price is high for us, then we need to sacrifice something ... I made such a conclusion for myself!
I make pastila on Veterka2 not on a tray for fat, but on sheets of parchment. I cut off two sheets slightly larger than the diameter of the pallet (approximately 42-43cm) and fold them thinly several times along the long edge. Then I cut out the circle and that's it! Yesterday I poured out a rare apricot, now it is being dried, nothing has leaked! The first time the place of folding was glued with paper adhesive tape, now it is over. But just folded behave. I use such a substrate several times, I grease it with oil only once.
But I repeat ... it is dangerous to load all 6 pallets with marshmallow, my thermostat worked and it stopped. Maybe I also poured thick layers, but I don’t do that anymore. 3-4 pallets of pastille on the bottom. and for the rest there is always something to dry on top.
nila
And what I like about Veterka is the 10 hour mode and turn it off for 10 minutes. Of course, I turn it off more often and let it cool down more in time, but this is my reinsurance ... but at night I sleep peacefully and can leave home for a while. Sednya went to the bazaar-sushuk did not turn it off!
Do not spoil your slippers ... I know I'm taking risks!
Qwex0091
nila, thank you very much for such a detailed answer! This is exactly what I wanted to know about the dryer. What you wrote about yours suits me completely, so it looks like I'll take it.
nila
Qwex! I am very glad I helped!
I looked at the profile, you are a very young hostess and therefore I was even more delighted! My daughters are older, but that they would choose an electric dryer for themselves so thoroughly!
