Tula gingerbread

Ingredients

DOUGH:
sugar 1 glass
eggs 2 pcs.
softened butter 100 g
honey 2-3 st. spoons
soda (do not extinguish) 1 tsp
ground cinnamon 1 tbsp. the spoon
flour 3-4 glasses
FILLING:
thick jam or jam (sour)
GLAZE:
sugar 4 tbsp. spoons
water 2 tbsp. spoons
lemon juice a few drops

Cooking method

  • Mix all ingredients for the dough and place in a water bath. Stir until smooth. Pour in flour - so much so that you get a not very steep elastic dough. Divide in half.
  • Grease the sheet with margarine. Roll out the first cake, grease with jam and put the second cake on top. Pinch the edges with a fork and place in a heated oven. Bake until tender at 200 degrees.
  • Immediately before baking, prepare the icing, grease the hot gingerbread.
  • I can't roll out the dough. I put a sheet of parchment paper on a baking sheet and smooth out the dough on it with my hands, then spread the filling. I level the other half on a silicone mat and carefully transfer it to the filling.

And I apologize for the changes in the recipe - I added a quarter of a small apple to the dough, mixed all the ingredients in a blender (no flour).
Flour when brewing included about 350 grams. The dough turned out to be smooth, homogeneous, very pleasant. I worked with the test as suggested by the author - it's very convenient.
I smeared it with red currant rubbed with sugar - it is very thick, just like jelly. I didn’t do glaze - I don’t like it.
