Cranberries, dried and dried

Cranberries, dried and dried

Ingredients

Fresh lingonberry 1 kg.
Sugar 400 gram

Cooking method

  • Ezidri Snackmaker FD500 electric dryer,
  • High mode (high) 60 ° C.
  • Medium mode (average) 50-55 * С
  • Sort the lingonberries, wash and dry. I do this procedure in a carousel for washing greenery, it turns out well and of high quality.
  • I put the berries in a saucepan, prick them with a fork, cover them with sugar and leave them for a day to give the berries juice. There is little juice, berries in dry form do not give juice well.
  • I put the saucepan with berries on the fire, brought the sugar to dissolve, kept it on low heat for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally with a spoon.
  • Throw the berries on a sieve, let the juice drain, cool.
  • Arrange the berries on trays with a mesh and dry first on a high temperature, then reduce to medium. The berries dry quickly, and they also give moisture quickly and well. Therefore, I recommend not to dry the berries for a long time.
  • Cranberries, dried and dried

Note

It turned out sweet and sour berries!

If there is nowhere to store lingonberries, then this method is well suited!

It seems to me that even without sugar, the berries will dry well in the dryer, they dry out very quickly!

I tried dried berries and so to eat, and added to the salad - it turns out well and nutritionally-vitamin-rich!

Cook with pleasure and bon appetit!

Explain that there is no such thing in this recipe. What does this fast-long refer to?

From the recipe:
"Therefore, I recommend long do not dry the berries. "
"It seems to me that even without sugar, the berries will dry well in the dryer, very much fast they dry up! "

Understood Apparently these quotes are understandable only to me

Dry the berries in the usual way, and according to the text like mine. First, sweeten with sugar, drain the liquid, put on baking sheets and begin to dry at first at a high temperature until the berries dry out and the excess liquid leaves. Then switch to 50 * and dry until tender.
How long it takes, I can't say - each of us has our own dryers and our own conditions. We dry until the berries are plastic and so that when pressed, no liquid is released from the berries
