Buns with dates

Dough kashkavalok https://Mcooker-enn.tomathouse.com/index.php@option=com_smf&Itemid=26&topic=1113.0, but you don't need to put garlic in the dough. You will also need one yolk mixed with water to lubricate the buns.

Filling:
Scroll the dates in a meat grinder, add poppy seeds and sugar (girls, all by eye). I had dryish dates, I poured boiling water over the mixture and stirred well with a spoon.

Next, roll out the dough, spread it with a phyto-poppy mixture, roll it up. Cut the roll into buns, spread on a baking sheet, let stand for 10 minutes, grease the buns with yolk and bake for 15-20 minutes at 200C.

The output is 15 pieces.

Gypsy, the buns are just lovely! And dry poppy?

Thank you.
Dry poppy seeds. You can do it without poppy, if you don't like it You can mix dates with nuts, it's a matter of taste, and of what is in your house today

there is one BUT - again poppy with whom I do not manage to make friends.
So you do it according to the recipe, just without the poppy. You can add chopped nuts. The dough is simply smeared with this mixture. Therefore, the absence of poppy will not affect the quality, but simply the taste.

THANKS, I usually do that: I replace the poppy with something like nuts, but I WANT it with poppy seeds. I really like the poppy, I just can't make a decent (tasty) filling out of it, what I do ... And what I did not do: cooked, twisted in a meat grinder, the most unsuccessful option - with a blender, soaked it overnight and boiled in milk - everything goes to the trash: -
