Cookies Coffee beans with chocolate

Ingredients

hot water 2 tbsp. l.
instant coffee 1 tbsp. l.
fine-grained curd 200 g
butter 200 g
sugar 1 cup (150 g)
lemon peel 1 tsp
some cardamom
(5-6 grains grind into powder)
cognac or brandy 1 tbsp. l.
flour 2 stkn (260 + -20 g)
good quality cocoa 3 tbsp. l. with a slide
dark chocolate 50 g
* 1 glass = 200 ml

Cooking method

  • dissolve coffee in water, cool.
  • Rub cottage cheese through a sieve, add butter at room temperature and beat everything together for 1 minute / mixer at medium speed /
  • add zest, cardamom, sugar, cognac and coffee, beat again for 1 min.
  • at a very low speed, gradually add the flour combined with cocoa, stir briefly, only until the mass is homogeneous.
  • lastly add the grated chocolate and stir.
  • Cover the baking sheet with baking paper and form balls with a diameter of 2.5 cm, giving them an oval shape with hands soaked in water.
  • place on a baking sheet at a distance of 2.5-3 cm from each other.
  • make deep cuts in the middle of each cookie with a toothpick / I took the toothpick by the tips on both sides and pressed it vertically into the dough / it looks like coffee beans.
  • bake in a preheated oven at 185-190aboutFrom 15 min. I got 45 pieces.
  • But the dough remained and I decided to make an experiment - to make baskets (7 pcs) from this dough. everything turned out without problems !!!
  • let cool and enjoy !!!

I put in a half teaspoon, it tasted good.
But the dough, the dough, something didn't work out for me, it was sticky, liquid, so it was impossible to mold the balls, even with wet hands, especially to press the grooves. They were baked like ordinary cookies, a little spread, became flat, but quite tasty. I still want to make just such original grains. Put more flour? I kind of added it.

I was so carried away by these cookies that I baked twice in a row: once strictly according to the recipe - this is sacred!
Only fit on the baking sheet 48 pieces, the dough remains. The weight of each TK is 20 grams:

And the second approach, I decided to make TK cookies for less - for 10 gram. It seems to be closer to the original coffee bean size.
Placed only 64 things ... and again the dough remains. So you can go on and on.
The chocolate was not added to the dough during the second batch.
The zest gives the aroma of lemon, cardamom, cognac, the smell of cocoa butter, cocoa powder - a whole bunch ...
Now you can compare the taste and aroma of cookies from two batches - on the left in the photo there are two rows of blanks from the first batch (with dark chocolate):

There are plans to find on sale coffee essence to enhance the aroma of coffee.
