Ingredients

for cake:
cream 35% 400 ml.
sugar 50 gr.
vanilla 1 gr.
a little lemon zest
milk 60 ml
gelatin (preferably in plates) 10 gr.
form 22x10
classic oblong savoyardi cookies (10x2) 150 gr.
milk 60 ml
strawberries (your favorite fruit or berries)
a little sugar. powders
for panna cat pillows:
cream 35% 200 ml.
milk 50 ml
sugar 40 gr.
gelatin (preferably in plates) 8 gr.
orange peel 1/2 tsp
chopped pistachios
orange confiture for serving fresh mint leaves
capacity 8x12

Cooking method

  • cake:
  • soak gelatin in cold water
  • Heat milk and dissolve sugar in it. squeeze out the swollen gelatin and dissolve in milk.
  • add the milk mixture to the cream. add vanilla and zest. stir well and refrigerate for 7-10 minutes. so that the cream thickens a little.
  • line the cookies on the bottom of the mold and moisten them liberally with half of the milk using a brush.
  • pour the slightly thickened cream and top with savoyardi cookies. which to moisten with the remaining half of the milk.
  • place the cake in the refrigerator for at least 3-4 hours. I stood all night
  • gently cut the sides of the cake with a thin knife and free it from the mold. you can blow the sides of the mold with a hairdryer.
  • decorate the cake with strawberries and sprinkle with sah. powder.
