Tanya, thank you. But for the gifted (in the evening, the head doesn't understand anything from communicating with two grandchildren) ... First, boil vegetables or what? Are we cutting raw or already boiled? The proportions of water and sugar for syrup pozha-a-a-a-a-luista !!! And how long to cook in this syrup? I think it would be nice to add orange juice and zest to carrots. What is the best way to flavor beets? It is gigantic this year, but not sweet.
I understand that I have become insolent, but I am not yet capable of inventions and creativity. Here grandchildren will grow up ... ... And then, maybe someone else will use your advice and encourage them to cook beetroot and carrot "sweets".
Admin
Try this recipe, you should get Turnip and Kohlrabi Chips https://Mcooker-enn.tomathouse.com/index.php@option=com_smf&topic=143692.0

Tashenka, Thanks for the kind words!
Admin

I agree that orange juice and zest go well with carrots. And on boiled beets ready for drying, I would put crushed lingonberries or cranberries (very little!). Crush and put on the beets and dry like this, the beets are sweet and moist and the berries will stick well to them.
Tashenka
Still, first boil ... Until fully cooked or what? Recently, I've only steamed vegetables in the ARC pressure cooker. And yet, what thickness is better for slicing? There are lingonberries, I'll try.
Chas word, I'm ashamed to get it, but I really want to please my little ones! After all, while the dryer is working, the elder (2 g. 3 m.) Now and then runs to her and asks to show how long it will take ... Zucchini does not even cool down to the end, there is enough right from the pallet, and candy made strong incentive to finish the soup.

Tashenka, I wrote everything in detail and showed it in the topic at the link above. I cut the burner on a grater. It is better to cook in water, the plates are quickly boiled until half cooked, you should not digest.
Tashenka
Oh, I feel that I'm tired ... But I realized that you need to boil already chopped vegetables. I'll try to make pieces with metal recesses for cookies of different shapes, but the cuttings will go for cutlets.
I read everything. It's just that turnip and kohlrabi have a slightly different "pulp" structure. And there, as I understood, boiling of a vegetable is not provided. I was also interested in daikon chips. We have a good harvest this year.
Tanya, thank you very much again. I don't promise you any photos, but I will definitely share my impression of the finished "sweets".

Hello girls. I hope to buy an Isidri ultra dryer from NG. I want to buy additional trays right away. Got a question. Do all trays need pallets and nets? What functions do they perform? Trays, probably to keep the syrup or juice from dripping? And the nets? Tell me please . There is no way to see the dryer "live" before buying ...
Admin

nati, it is advisable to read the whole topic, you will learn a lot of interesting things, including about nets with pallets

It is desirable to have the same amount of nets and pallets, very useful!
The nets are used for small products or which are difficult to remove from the pallets.
nati
Admin, Thank you.
I read the whole topic, but apparently I missed something. I decided that the nets are just for marshmallow. My old dryer (not izidri, I don't remember what it was called) was without nets and pallets, so I'm dull. For myself, I conclude that if you buy it, it's a complete set, and then I'll figure it out.
Tashenka
Is it okay that I wedge myself in?
The 5 pallets included in the kit (this is what you called the trays) turned out to be not enough for me.There were a lot of apples this year. I bought 5 more pieces.
Nets, in my opinion, are needed for each pallet, I have 10 of them.
And for the marshmallow, smooth inserts are used, they are called "Sheets for marshmallows", complete with only one dryer. I still have 2 pieces, so not enough for me. I ordered another 3. But this is individual. Someone doesn't need them at all. But I have 2 little grandchildren, so I make "sweets" for them from fruit and vegetable puree with various additives.
The dryer is great. Compared to the "Sukhoveyka" (although she served me for 6 years) ...
So make yourself a New Year's gift, don't hesitate!
nati
Tashenka, I am grateful for any information. Thank you. Apparently, that's why I got a little confused because the accessories are called differently in different sources. On the site where I looked - the pallet is smooth, without holes, the tray is with large holes, and the mesh with small ones. But I think that when I take it in my hands, I feel it, the mosaic will be formed

I have 10 trays, 7 pallets, 5 nets. When I make marshmallows, I think that 3 more pallets need to be purchased. On the same pallets I dry ginger, celery, carrots - it's more convenient for me. Wakes up nothing. If I dry on a mesh, then I use 2 nets at once, apply them so that the holes do not coincide. Leafy greens are also dried on pallets. Buy, you will not regret it.

Girls, my dryer has arrived !!! I really want to try it, my hands itch. But I can't yet - I need to prepare for NG. And on January 1, my son's birthday is 16 years old! In general, she still stands like an orphan ... And I would have dried, dried, dried
Liniya
Can you please tell me, 10 days ago I became a happy owner of the FD500 isidri, I'm very happy, but it's embarrassing that the panel with the buttons gets very hot, now it's drying at high and insanely hot, a little more and you could get burned. Is it the same for you? Or do we urgently need to go to the workshop?
Admin

A panel with buttons is never insanely hot, I know from my own experience. You can calmly touch with your hand, I freely switch the temperature during the drying process.

So you need to contact the service center.

Liniya, each of us has our own sensitivity threshold for hot / cold

In my Isidri dryer, the control buttons are as warm as the warm body of the dryer - and you can hold it freely in your hands, like the lower tier itself with a fan and control buttons, and all baking trays from the bottom up.
Relatively hot air is only felt when the dryer cover is open.
And absolutely hot buttons cannot be in fact, since T * = 50-60 * C, this is very little to burn your hands.

Lean the thermometer against the control panel (buttons) and measure the outside temperature of the panel. You can also measure the internal pace. put the thermometer inside on any floor of the dryer.
The temperature should not be higher than the declared 35-50-60-65 * C at each temperature mode, and the outer circuit of the dryer should be slightly warm (body temperature or slightly higher or lower), as it is constantly cooled by the surrounding air.

If the temperature is higher than the one stated (see above) in the passport, then take the dryer to the store for a return.

Girls, I've already experienced my izydryushka! I really liked the kiwi, persimmon (when fresh it was so tart that it was impossible to chew!), Bananas. But I didn't really like the orange. Candied ginger is dried.

Congratulations on your purchase of the dryer, it's worth it

Hello, I have an Ezidri Ultra FD-1000 .. - I'm happy with everything, a lot has been dried and tried ... The dryer overheated (the thermal fuse tripped - it turned off), cooled down - it didn't turn on. Has anyone had such an experience? What to do other than carry to the store? Can you make out, but everything just changes there?
crazybubble
Everything was repaired in an ordinary workshop - the thermal fuse was replaced.

Girls, going to buy an Ezidri Snackmaker dryer. How much and what (trays, pallets, nets) to buy for it? Tell me please.
Admin

Look at the topic, we have already discussed this issue many times, there are not so many pages
Natusichka
Girls from Ukraine! Please tell me where you can buy this dryer from us, in Ukraine (so that there is a trusted supplier).
Zarinka
I bought here. I took Ultra + 5 extra. trays. Delivered by New Mail at its best. They are official distributors.
And what impressed me separately - delivery to me is free.
Natusichka
Zarinka, Thank you!!!
Found with us: the cost is 1320 UAH (basic set), in addition: tray - 90 UAH, net - 27 UAH and pallet - 39 UAH.
savraska
Tell me, can you buy it only in Russia, but you can't order it abroad ??? Whose production does it have?
kan2170
Please tell me how you dry and most importantly store mulberries?
I have Ezidri 1000, I store Vax in a vacuum.
Thanks in advance for your reply.

Congratulations!

I also want to - order ... and wait for Isidri ...

Forgive advice. There is no own garden. Once I saw how the berries were dried in the south - everything was covered with flies. Since then, I don't want to buy dried fruits at all. That is, it is planned to dry the purchased in small quantities. Isidri has received positive reviews, but it is not cheap. Is it worth buying it or is it still worth looking at a more budget dryer option?

I don't have Isidri, but the principle of drying mulberries, I think, is the same everywhere.
Dried mulberries like regular fruits. Dried until very dry. I kept it in a regular glass jar under a plastic lid. And it is stored for more than one year.
When boiling (later) compotes, the mulberry fully opens, takes the size of a fresh mulberry, but there is no fresh taste. Or maybe it just gives off color and taste when cooking?
I cook compotes only in a slow cooker! There they are more saturated.

it seems to me that mulberry never retains its taste. but can you try to boil it in syrup and then dry it?
csv
If I cook it in syrup, and then dry it (wither), then in general the mulberry "will not live" to the compote. We'll keep everything.
Natusichka
And I'm already obizidrinaya !!!!!!!!! Just got it !!!! I can't wait to come home now to try it !!! There are apples, so I urgently need dried ones! We were also at the monastery that week, they gave me several heads of roses, so I want to try to dry them too. Maybe someone has such experience, tell me, please.
In appearance, my husband and I really liked the dryer, we already loved it!

Natusichka , I am very glad for your choice! I am always glad when people from IZIDRI buy - CONGRATULATIONS!

With apples, everything is simple, no problem. But with flowers you will have to experience it yourself, in fact, carefully - dry and observe.

Natusichka, congratulations on your purchase of Isidri. : rose: Work will increase in the summer, prepare containers for storage. GOOD LUCK !!!
Natusichka
Allochka, Thank you! Yes, now I can't wait to dry something. I usually put dried foods in the freezer (for example, sun-dried tomatoes), or in paper bags (dill, parsley, dried tomatoes), or in jars and close WAXI (apples, pears, quince, strawberries, melon), very good in them stored.
BlackHairedGirl
Natusichka Congratulations on your purchase !!! Will you share your successes later? And I still can't make up my mind whether I need her or not ... I'm reading Temka ...

Needed, still needed! You just do not understand yet why you need it, but when it will appear at home ...wow, how many tasty stocks will appear And there will be more and more of them, and everything will be eaten with cosmic speed ...
BlackHairedGirl
The fact is that the farm has a separate freezer ... which we don't have time to eat in a season ... if I also buy a dryer, my husband won't understand me, so while I'm sitting and watching from the bushes
Admin

TanI have a large freezer too, but the dryer does a lot that the freezer does not
Well, in general, you need to look at our sweets in the subject of recipes - this will say it all
Natusichka
Tanyusha, freezers and a dryer are two completely different things! My freezer is also quite roomy, but fruits from the dryer are incomparable! If there is a material opportunity to buy, do not even think about it! Even greens from the freezer and dried greens are greens that taste different. Moreover, the quality of the greens dried in the dryer is not at all the greens that we used to dry "in the shade", and the color and taste
And what can I say about fruit! If you buy fruit, you need to wash, soak (who knows, in what conditions it was dried ...), and then - right in your mouth! My mom tried dried fruit from the dryer (I had a primitive Boman or Clathronic - it's the same thing) and said that the ones she ate before didn't fly up!
So I also fully support Admin - the right thing !!!
pawllena
Exactly! I have already looked at your sweets and now I am waiting for the ordered Ezidri dryer. I'm already looking for something to dry for a sample when I get it.
