Sea mullet
Tomatoes, onions

Cooking method

  • The forum already has a recipe for baked mullet. I would venture to offer my own.
  • Peel the mullet, rinse very well, cut off the fins, tail. It's good if there is caviar. Salt the fish, add seasoning for the fish. Cut the tomato and onion into rings. Put a couple of rings of tomato and onion into the belly, put caviar on top (if any), the vegetables will protrude a little. Who likes - grease with mayonnaise, but mullet itself is a fatty fish, so it is not necessary.
  • Lay foil on a baking sheet - so that the edges can be raised - mullet gives a lot of juice !!! Lay the fish, cover with foil.

  • The temperature in the oven is 150-170, bake in foil for about an hour, then open the foil and "fry" the mullet on the upper heat supply (at this temperature I roasted for about 20 minutes). I didn't sprinkle it with lemon, because tomatoes give their piquant sourness, and onions give their sweetness.
