I want to cook pilaf, but I like the meat to be fried. We'll have to do it first in a frying pan.
Well, I cooked pilaf according to the recipe in a booklet (I only put smaller chicken) - the meat from below was fried very well. But from all sides, of course, this will not work ...
nataliya
I noticed that literally all functions are lightly burned. True, this does not spoil the dish much, but sometimes I would like to avoid it. I want to hear some advice.
Mmo
My meat was fried in pilaf. I tried to reheat the porridge - here it also fried slightly. But this, IMHO, is treated manually by shutdown.
But the porridge, personally, has never burnt to me. And I cooked rice using the functions "cereal" and "express" - everything is fine too. I'm preparing everything clearly according to the recipe for now (well, I add a bit of gag, but not essential)
NataUp
I have already cooked several soups, but according to my own recipes, not from a book. Everything works out well. I increase the time to 1 hour 40 minutes chicken and 2 hours the rest of the meat + I keep it heated.
Mmo
I cooked porridge from corn grits today - I set the timer for the night. In the morning - the whole multicooker is in porridge, the whole table is in milk. The porridge, however, turned out good, tasty. But now I have doubts: where did I go wrong so that she spat on?

and how better to cook cabbage? on EXTINGUISHING mode? and how much time is better to choose?
I chopped the cabbage along with carrots and onions, half a glass of water and stew (35 minutes). There was not enough time, the cabbage remained raw in places. I put it on extinguishing again and everything worked out. See for yourself how much water to add, I was afraid that it would burn, so I added it.
nataliya
I have Scarlett, the chicken is cooked in one period given by a slow cooker, I also cook pea soup with meat (pork), the meat is very well cooked. I put the cabbage on the stewing mode, sweat the carrots and onions a little on the stewing, then throw the meat in about ten minutes, spread the cabbage and completely for the set time. Everything is very tender and tasty. The taste is different on the stove. At first I cooked according to recipes, but now everything is according to my taste and request. The most important thing is not to pour excess liquid, then nothing will run away. And so all the dishes are 5+. Good luck cooking. delicious meals.

I would venture to suggest that it's all about milk. Try another milk. Read above about my experiments with oatmeal. I cook oatmeal every other day for breakfast. For 3 months, the lid of the multicooker turned out to be "spattered" with milk only 2 times. Flakes, as you understand, are taken from one pack each time in a row. So it's not about the croup. But milk is taken from a new bag or bottle every time. But since I only use 2 types ("Frenzy farm ultra-pasteurized 2.5%" - pack 0.95 l and "Prostokvashino pasteurized Ukrainian 2.5%" - plastic bottle 0.92 l), it looks like it's all about a specific lots of milk.
There was also a recommendation to grease the inside of the saucepan with vegetable oil (the upper edge of 5-7 centimeters). But I never did that.
nataliya
Pea soup, I cook this way, first fry the carrots with onions, then throw in the meat (smoked ribs + pork meat. A little) and washed peas. Everything, and at the end of cooking all the herbs are ants. Peas boil well until mashed. Soup program.

I bought a slow cooker, I wanted to cook pilaf as it is written in the recipe book, but it did not work out, at first the meat was raw, and then the rice was overcooked, maybe I did something wrong ???

And what does it mean "... FIRST the meat is raw, and THEN the rice is overcooked ..."
Did you cook the food separately? If you do EVERYTHING according to the recipe, then it just can't work !!! The products are placed in a saucepan sequentially, in layers, as written in the recipe. And EVERYTHING is being prepared IMMEDIATELY. The modes for pilaf ("Groats" or "Express") are automatic, that is, they turn off the multicooker when the dish is cooked. You can only over- or under -... salt, pepper, etc. The amount of water you poured according to the recipe, did not you increase it?
What kind of recipe did you fail? Describe in more detail how you cooked, so that it is clearer what exactly your mistake is. Then the advice can be given more specific.

Here's a borscht I got in the cartoon, I really prefer to fry separately and then add at the end !!

Good day!
The other day I was presented with a cartoon SCARLET! She asked for exactly SCARLET!
She cooked soup, pilaf, fried potatoes and worked with the "steamed" program. All liked it. True, when I cooked soup with semolina, it gurgled a lot through the valve - I had to disassemble and wash it)) And the very first thing I decided to bake was a cake - the dough was tested, I often baked it in the microwave. So after a few minutes I gave an error E2. My husband quickly turned it off, and I was upset - at first I wanted to carry it to the store, but changed my mind (after reading your forum a little))). Now I will try to bake a biscuit cake on different programs))
I have some questions -
1) is it possible to open the lid during cooking or does the program and the cartoon itself break so?
2) Is it possible to turn off the cartoon without waiting for the end of cooking?
3) What groups are better not to cook in SCARLET - so as not to splatter (like with me semolina)?
Julia22
Girls tell me how I cook borscht !!
I fry, sauté carrots, beets, onions in vegetable oil, and I always add pasta, if there is no pasta I add ketchup !!

ELIZABETH, in fact it was not a pie, but a manna with pears according to this recipe - https://Mcooker-enn.tomathouse.com/index.php@option=com_smf&topic=130527.0 , and also turned out well in Scarlett ginger - pear pie here according to this recipe https://Mcooker-enn.tomathouse.com/index.php@option=com_smf&topic=9498.0

But! I want to once again focus the attention of all Scarlett owners on the fact that there is no "baking" program in Scarlett and it is impossible to fully replace it! This means that you will not bake a biscuit or "chocolate on boiling water" in it, do not spoil the food and do not risk burning the cartoon. I have already tried it dozens of times and I speak about it from my own experience, not theoretically. Perhaps one-button rice cookers, in which the girls baked chic biscuits without the "baking" program, are arranged differently, but you cannot bake a homogeneous and liquid dough in Scarlet. Only dough with a lot of fruit turns out well. I always bake on the "cereal" program, this is the most successful mode, because the cartoon heats up more slowly on it.
In general, Scarlett is a wonderful cartoon, the milk porridges in her are amazing, even my oatmeal never runs away! Therefore, it is better to use something else for baking so as not to spoil a good thing.
All successful culinary experiments.
Radochka
nataliya, you learned how to cook cereals in a cartoon so that the bottom does not burn, for some reason my cereals and meat burn from the bottom
nataliya
Happy holiday to all the girls !!! Radochka, I will probably disappoint you with my answer, I also burn many dishes. True, I sometimes open the lid and stir the food that I am cooking. Burning is easy, in general it does not interfere.

Hello!!! I am writing an omelet recipe: I made 3 eggs, 0.5 liters of milk, salt to taste. In a saucepan, greased with butter, lightly beat the eggs, salt and added milk. All this was poured into a saucepan on the milk porridge mode for 30 minutes. But I say right away that the omelet turned out to be a little thin and there was some water at the bottom of the saucepan. But it was delicious, the kids liked it. I think that the milk was too much, now I would take -1 a cartoon glass of milk for 3 eggs. And there is one more omelette recipe, but I haven’t made it yet, but spied: 5 eggs + 1 multi-glass of milk, 2 palates. tomato. sausage, herbs. cheese. Beat eggs with milk, chop tomatoes, sausage, herbs, grate cheese. Salt everything and pour into a saucepan on the express mode or cereal. Who will try to cook this recipe, write about the results.

I SIZE THINKING THAT WOULD STILL COOK IN THE MULET, DO NOT TELL ANYTHING THAT IS TASTY AND QUICKLY

My dear friends. Yes, here on the forum, in the threads about other multicooker, full of "compatible" recipes.
And the search on the Internet has not yet been canceled. Here is an interesting site that Google gave me for the request "the recipe book sc-410 download" (10th in the list) - multiparovarka * narod * ru (asterisks must be replaced with dots). I added it to my Favorites.
There is a lot of useful information about multicooker in general, and in addition, there is a section "Cookbooks for Multicooker". Among them there are no special ones for Skarlushka, but there are plenty of suitable ones. For example, "SMILE MPC-1140 Recipe Book". According to recipes and regimes, it is very similar to her native Skarlushkina.
If you have offended anyone with teachings, please forgive. Hope it doesn't happen to me like on the smiley?

Stumbled upon a scoop on a recipe for soufflé in a double boiler, but did not try it myself - in general, I never ate soufflé. The recipe is not a multi-cooker, but I think that a double boiler is a double boiler in Africa.

Do, tell us how it tastes.

Curd soufflé in a double boiler

Description: Delicate curd soufflé with a slight sourness of berries

Ingredients for "Curd soufflé in a double boiler"

Cottage cheese - 250 g
Sour cream - 2 tbsp. l.
Semolina - 2 tbsp. l.
Sugar - 6 tbsp. l.
Egg - 3 pieces
Berry (any, I took red currants and raspberries)

We need these products
Multicooker Scarlett SC 410

hello everyone)) sometimes I really want a chocolate cake .. but I don’t want to shop, it’s troublesome to knead the dough, and the ovens aren’t at all ... there is only a slow cooker and a mixture for baking "Chocolate Cake" ... I added milk to the mixture, stirred it, I distributed the resulting mass into silicone molds (6 pieces fit, size 6x6 cm), put the molds in a steamer container ... I set the "steaming" mode on the multicooker and after 40 minutes pretty cakes are obtained ... the dough is really watery ... but even so I really like it)) I'm thinking how to put sour cream-banana cream inside the cream .... can you tell me?

Good day! presented a multicooker with a scarlet. there is no cooking experience in it yet. maybe there is some website with recipes for this particular model

Evgeniya25! welcome to the forum.

They wrote everything correctly to you above - any recipe can be adapted to any multicooker. The main thing is to understand the programs (modes). That is, what will be necessary in your multicooker is rice programs, which work automatically until the liquid has completely boiled away, the water will boil off - the pan will turn off (but this does not mean that you can only cook rice - any porridge for a side dish and even bake can be done on this program if there is no separate baking). Usually, in this mode, the time is not displayed on the display. Will be extinguishing - weak boil and will baking - frying - cake, pie, steam- hot temperature. It can be called in different ways, but it will be the strongest mode, equivalent to a big fire. Here, something like this ... Just remember that MVarka has a certain algorithm in the modes - it necessarily brings it to a boil in all programs, then either actively boils or weakly. Be guided as you need it. (The modes can be called differently - translation difficulties. For example, in Liberton - extinguishing is called stupidly porridge, and extinguishing is a little stronger than SOUP.) You just need to get used to it.

I decided to share my impressions of the new assistant. I am very happy with my slow cooker. I was already preparing milk rice porridge, vegetable stew, pilaf. Everything turns out great. Today I threw everything in a cartoon for a stew and went to the market, came home, and such a delicious treat awaits me ... I am delighted. Even my husband and mother have already appreciated it, although they used to be skeptical about buying multicooker. I cooked milk porridge on the timer, got up in the morning, and she was already waiting for me ready and warm .... I bought a multicooker in an online store (it cost less than 300 UAH with delivery). Money is just ridiculous for such a THING! I continue to master it further and I plan more and more new dishes. ... I’m thinking how I used to live without her

Dear housewives, my wife is at work and I'm alone at home and I want to eat, can you share with me a recipe for making pasta? And another question in some recipes, cooks write that they interrupt cooking - this is how to understand? That is, if you understand that everything is ready, then just unplug it from the outlet? Or can you still open the lid while cooking? figured it out myself) Heating / Off button
Pingvinus
Olesechka, it is more convenient to cook pasta on the stove only if you cook them by draining the water and rinsing! And in the multicooker there is another simpler and faster option to cook pasta like cereal (pilaf), like this https://Mcooker-enn.tomathouse.com/index.php@option=com_smf&topic=105108.0
I really love this method of cooking, I also make dumplings and dumplings in Scarlett on the Groats or Express mode, and I also often add a little onion to the bottom, it cannot be easier and faster and it is very tasty.
Only in Scarlett is the evaporation on the Krupa and Express quite active, therefore it is better to pour water so that the pasta is completely covered with water or open the cartoon during cooking and stir.

Indeed, the pasta is cool, I tried it more than once, I really liked to fill the wheels at the end with an omelet mixture, it turns out so airy !!!!!!!!!!

Hello! Take replenishment In multicooker, I am an absolute beginner, in cooking - an ordinary sloth, the technique that facilitates the hard work of housekeeping - I love
After my next dance with tambourines around the gas stove, my husband gave me a multicooker. On the first evening I cooked 3 dishes, my husband lost his jaw in surprise (he is still looking for)
Now I want to ask a couple of questions, thanks in advance for the answers.
1. Bought fresh milk on the market, immediately at home set it to boil on the Milk porridge mode. After 15 minutes, the milk ran away from me (... the blanket ran away, the sheet flew away ...) Did I choose the wrong mode? Probably should have bet on Soup? So that in the next. since such an incident did not happen ...
2. Cooked mushroom soup, somewhere in the middle of cooking, foam climbed through all the cracks. I opened the lid, looked, thought, closed ... everything returned to normal, then the soup was cooked calmly. Is this normal or have I overflowed with water? Or is it my madam's character showing?

Dear housewives, can you share a recipe for making dumplings?
I am a "householder" and I like lightly toasted dumplings. And I do this. A little water at the bottom of the saucepan, so that it barely covers the bottom. Then I add 100 g of sour cream. I fall asleep dumplings in one layer and mix so that each dumpling is smeared with sour cream-water mixture. I set the "Groats" mode on Skarlushka and after about half an hour on a signal ... The dumplings first go to the plate, and then, along with mustard, to my stomach.

By the way, like a true "householder", my dumplings are deep-frozen from the store. I put them straight out of the freezer and put them in a saucepan.
Pingvinus
Dumplings are prepared on the "cereal" or "express" program like this https://Mcooker-enn.tomathouse.com/index.php@option=com_smf&topic=106300.0
But I think the option with sour cream will be even tastier, thanks vampo_boss , I will definitely try to cook according to your recipe.

vega1981, the question about the consumption of the multicooker of electricity is asked by everyone who buys their first cartoon.
If you have electrolyte, then the energy savings are 3-4 times, if the induction is 2-3 times, if the gas, then of course you will not save, but the consumption is not large. If you cook on average once a day in a multicooker, it will be 20-30 kW more per month than without it. This is quite a bit all the more in comparison with the convenience and freedom that the multicooker gives.

I just bought this slow cooker, I came home, looked at what to eat - a little, found chicken breasts, buckwheat, frozen vegetables (carrots, peas, beans, cauliflower), olive oil. I decided to cook pilaf according to the recipe, poured all the ingredients into the pan, turned it on, while registering on the forum, it smelled delicious, after another half an hour the cooking ended. I tried it, buckwheat and vegetables are very tasty, but the chicken is rather dry, I can feel the lack of onions. Overall, I'm satisfied so far, no hassle, and tomorrow I don't need to do anything, and that's enough for lunch and dinner :) I will study recipes.
AJlEHA
Megis, it is better to cook vegetables not in water, but steam, because in this way they retain vitamins and do not give most of them into the water - they turn out juicy and not watery
You can steam the vegetables, after peeling them and cutting them into cubes - put carrots, potatoes, beets "to the eyeballs" in a container-steamer and cook for 20 minutes. You can gradually add vegetables (first put the cubes of beets, after 5 minutes. Carrots and after another 5 minutes. Potatoes).
If you cook whole vegetables, then 35-40 minutes is enough for carrots and potatoes. Readiness depends on the size of the tubers - you need to try near the end of cooking.
Whole beets can be cooked in foil (so that the container is not stained with juice) and without it. The main thing is that the foil does not come into contact with the MV metal cover. The boiling time for beets is 50-60 minutes. You also need to try on the final chords for readiness.
It is more economical and faster to cook in cubes, but only on one condition - if you don't need a lot of vinaigrette
