Ingredients

Low-fat pasty cottage cheese (I took regular cottage cheese from the market) 100 g
Milk 4 tbsp. l.
(it took me 7)
Odorless vegetable oil 4 tbsp. l.
Sugar 50 g
Vanilla sugar 1 sachet
(I put less, to taste)
Wheat flour 200 g
Baking powder 1 sachet
(I put 1 teaspoon)
Plum 750 g
(how many halves of plums will fit)
Walnut crocant
Walnuts 100 g
(I put 2 tablespoons)
Sugar 100 g
Vanilla 1 sachet
(I didn't use vanilla in crocant)
Milk 1 tbsp. l
Butter 75 g
(I put 50-60 grams, and then next time I will reduce to 45)
A little salt for the dough !!! a little pinch

Cooking method

  • For the dough, mix all the ingredients with a mixer (except flour). Sift the flour with baking powder and then gradually add to the dough - knead the soft dough with your hands. There are NO eggs in the dough. It will be sticky, it is difficult to roll it out, so I dipped my hands in vegetable oil and thus distributed the dough along the bottom of the mold and made the sides (the mold - 26 cm - greased with oil and lined with baking paper - I used only paper). Sprinkle the bottom of the dough with bread crumbs (I used starch). Put the halves of the plums on the dough, "middle up", spread so that there is no free space. For crocant: cut walnuts large / medium (according to your taste, but not small!), Melt sugar and vanilla sugar in a frying pan over medium heat, when the sugar melts, add butter (I didn’t wait for the sugar to completely dissolve, but its crunchy grains the size of nuts only added spice), mix, wait for boiling - then add milk and walnuts - mix and remove from heat. Spread evenly over the plums and put them in the oven for 45 minutes (I baked 40) at a temperature of 200 degrees. After 30 minutes, cover the cake with foil. The author advises all the same to wait until the pie has cooled completely, and then taste and serve with whipped cream. The juice will not flow if you cut the pie already cold, or better after the refrigerator - everything will be absorbed !!! Delicious! I took out the cake while still hot, did not break, the amount of juice horrified me - the top of the cake just floated, but everything was absorbed.
