Spicy tomatoes

Ingredients

small tomatoes 0.5KG
cheese 300 g
garlic 3 cloves
mayonnaise 2 tbsp. l.

Cooking method

  • The preparation is very simple. Rub the cheese on a fine grater, mix with mayonnaise and garlic passed through a garlic press. Cut the tomatoes in half, remove the stalk, put our mixture on top. The proportion is 1: 1, i.e. the size of the tomato, the size of the filling.

  • The hardest part is finding small, firm, ripe tomatoes. The best choice is about the size of a walnut. That would be just one bite. Any hard cheese, "suluguni" is excellent. In order to beautifully distribute the filling, take a teaspoon, scoop up the mixture and scrape the filling with a tomato, and then iron it with the same movements from all sides with a spoon.

Oh, Alyonka! Thank you very much for recalling this recipe, this is one of our favorite recipes (of our family), and I forgot for it .... So thank you very much for reminding me!
And I make it somewhat differently: I cut the tomatoes in layers, and on top - this cheese filling, then sprinkle with finely chopped herbs, yummy-ah-ah-ah !!!!!
