Soup with lentils and bulgur

Ingredients

chicken broth 1.3 l
I used instead of broth
"Homemade bouillon cubes" 2 pcs.
and boiled turkey 2-3 plates.
Bulb onions 1/2 pcs.
Carrot 1/2 pcs.
Cherry tomatoes 4-5 pcs.
Potatoes 2-3 pcs.
Soup spices 1/2 tsp
Salt taste
Fresh greens
chopped parsley
1 tbsp. l.
Oil for frying 1/2 tbsp. l.
Mixture "Turkish soup"
contains lentils, bulgur, dried tomatoes,
dry herbs, celery
1 measuring cup
200 ml

Cooking method

  • Finely chop onions, carrots, cut tomatoes in half, fry with spices for soup.
  • Transfer the stewed vegetables to a saucepan with broth, add the potatoes, cut into large pieces, the cereal mixture, bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer until the cereals are tender. potatoes and cereals will be ready together and quickly.
  • Add parsley, salt to the soup and simmer for a couple of minutes.
  • pour the soup into bowls and serve.

Note

I had homemade meat broth cubes and boiled turkey in the freezer, so I cooked the broth on cubes, and at the end of the soup I added the turkey meat, cut into pieces of "fries".

It turned out to be a very rich, delicious soup!

The lentils boiled down quickly, but the bulgur remained whole grain, which was pleasantly felt.
