Cranberry-orange pie with streusel

Ingredients

Dough
Softened butter 100 g
Sugar 75 g
Small egg 1 PC.
Sour cream 1 tbsp. l.
Flour 200 g
Salt pinch
Vanillin 0.5 tsp
Baking powder 0.5 tsp
Filling
Cranberry 1.5 tbsp.
Sugar 1 tbsp.
Orange 1 PC.
Streusel
Flour 160 g
Softened butter 100 g
Sugar 100 g
Baking powder 0.5 tsp

Cooking method

  • Grind the butter with sugar, add the egg, sour cream, salt, vanillin and baking powder. Sift the flour through a sieve and knead the soft dough. Roll up a ball from the dough, wrap it in plastic wrap and put it in the refrigerator for 1 hour.

  • Remove the zest from the orange with a knife and cut into small thin strips. Mix cranberries with sugar and bring to a boil. Add the zest and cook over medium heat for about 10 minutes, cool to room temperature.

  • For streusel, mix flour with sugar and baking powder. Add butter and grind everything into small crumbs.

  • We heat the oven to 180 degrees. Grease the baking dish with butter. Take the dough out of the refrigerator and distribute it evenly with your hands along the bottom of the mold, leaving small sides. Put boiled cranberries on the dough, and sprinkle evenly with streusel on top. We bake for 30-35 minutes. Cut the pie into squares and serve. Bon Appetit!

Surprisingly, in my opinion, the orange gives some more living properties. The cranberries were frozen, American, more like our small plums. I bought it for lunch, of course, by the evening it all started flowing. Some kind of compote, I thought, I won’t collect, but I added orange zest and the result was a very dense jam
And the lingonberry with orange and apple must be tasted. There are a lot of lingonberries in our area! Thanks for the advice!
