Balls with meat

Ingredients

pork fillet 600 g
puff pastry 250 g
a tomato 1-2 pcs.
Bulgarian pepper 1 PC.
cheese 50 g
dill, parsley, green onions 3-4 branches
yolk 1 PC.
adjika (or salt and pepper) 1 tsp
garlic 2 teeth

Cooking method

  • Cut the meat (you can also use chicken and turkey fillets) into pieces ~ 100 g each and beat well. Spread with adjika, put in the center a small cube of cheese, a slice of tomato and a little chopped herbs, garlic and pepper. Roll up into a ball. The dough (you can use both yeast and yeast-free ready-made dough) roll out into a thin layer and cut into narrow thin strips imitating a thick thread, and wrap each meat ball with this thread, forming a ball. Grease with yolk and bake in the oven for 40-50 minutes at 180 °.

The dish is designed for

4-6

Time for preparing:

1 hour

Cooking program:

oven

Note

This interesting method of presentation is found on the Internet at various sites, but I could not establish the first author of the idea. In addition, the same recipe is repeated there, where the meat is pre-marinated in apple cider vinegar, and prunes or dried apricots are used as the filling. Everyone has their own tastes, and everyone can diversify this recipe based on them. And for cutting dough into threads, it is very convenient to use the right of these three cuts 🔗

dopleta, oh, don't remember your native Kazakhstan, otherwise I now recall such words, we will flood the whole topic out of laughter, we served there for 5 years, and Karaganda. And not any rhymes ...

dopletochka, very beautiful balls,
and how do they eat them? Knife Fork?

No, well, with a strong desire, you can, of course, as in the Kazakh deaf village, but with a knife-fork it is more convenient.

Well, very enticing little balls I will make my husband on the DR, just need to practice beforehand
Sonadora
dopleta , wow balls!
I would never have thought of this with my stupidity!
I have already taken the recipe to the bookmarks, it remains somewhere else to find such gold pens in order to make such beauty.
mowgli
Phew, what a beauty!

The original recipe, too, was taken to the bookmarks. And with the other two cutters, how can you cut and, most importantly, where did you buy it?

Where where? giraffe, is it really really new? I don't believe it, pretend!

Well, this dough set is not uncommon, it was sold, in my opinion, in any hardware store and was worth a mere penny. The right roller is for noodles, the middle roller is for decorating the edge with teeth, like HERE, the left one cuts circles for dumplings, here on bread she showed: 🔗

I'm still pretending. My daughter sometimes comes home from school and asks if I know how in Kazakh ... and she herself will make sly, sly eyes, she is about to burst with laughter. So, no-and-and-no, this topic is developed here. And when I hear our phrases in new films, I understand that in some cases we still live in a single, large country.

Oh, Larissa, and I make balls like that, though not with such a thin "thread" I wrap them with a thicker "rope"
But mine are always eaten with pleasure

Yes , dopleta, tasty !!!
There was no puff pastry, I made it from yeast. Somehow I’ll get to the preparation of puff pastry and then I’ll try to make balls with it for comparison (I don’t use store-bought ones - because it contains fats that are incompatible with my body)
Damochca
dopleta, thank you very much for the recipe! The guests were surprised by both the form and the content! And even more with taste, they grunted, only the noise was behind the ears!

I also made such balls on my DR. (y) And now I came across this Temka and I want myself such a gadget for cutting noodles (I played enough with a knife just like that!) but I don't know where to buy. As I understand it, these are still Soviet sets
