Yeast pancakes

Ingredients

flour 500 g
yeast SAF-MOMENT 1/2 pack
salt 1 tsp (1.5 tsp can be used)
sugar 1 tbsp. l.
Egg 1 PC.
Margarine 100 g
Milk 1 l

Cooking method

  • On Shrovetide and not only, it happens just in the mood, I make yeast pancakes.
  • Sift flour. Add all dry ingredients. Mix. Add the jolly-cracked egg. Pour in melted warm margarine and warm milk. Knead the dough. Leave in a warm place, covered with a towel, to fit. Comes up quickly. Will increase in volume three times - to besiege. Let it come up again, settle and you can bake. Pancakes should not be thin, but if you find them thick, then you can add a little liquid, either warm milk or warm boiled water.
  • For these pancakes I make homemade sausage, mini cutlets, stew (gravy required), that is, pancakes act as a side dish. Put a piece of sausage, a cutlet, a few pieces of meat on a pancake. Pour with gravy. You can add sour cream on top (this is not for everybody). There is also caviar on the table. Pancakes with caviar are something unique. Bon Appetit everyone.
