Oat waffles (lean)

Ingredients

Wheat flour 400 g
Oat flour 200 g
Sugar ¾ glasses (250 ml)
Honey 2 tbsp. l
Soda 1 tsp
Sunflower oil ¾ glasses
Boiling water 2.5 cups
Cinnamon optional

Cooking method

  • Beasts are the flowers of life! Or maybe children ...
  • From the movie "Day of Radio"
  • Since it was a pure gamble, it mixed what is called, as God put on the soul. I poured both types of flour and brewed them with a small part of boiling water. What for? I do not know. It seemed to me that wheat flour would swell more in this case than when kneading just on water. I still don't know if I did the right thing. Left in a warm place for 20 minutes. After brewing, the oatmeal was apparently cooked completely and irrevocably, because the dough was more like mmmmmmm ... a kind of rubberized mass. But that didn't stop me. I added the rest of the ingredients, mixed well with a spoon and began to pour in the remaining boiling water little by little to bring the dough to the consistency of store sour cream. Have you ever seen rubber sour cream? This is how the dough looks like.
  • I warmed up the electric waffle iron, greased it with oil. During baking, I smeared it with oil several more times, just for every fireman.
  • From the nuances. By the middle of baking, the cookies began to behave in an extremely funny way: when the waffle iron was opened, the upper part of the cookies remained on the upper plane of the unit, and the lower part, respectively, on the lower one. We got such tiny two cookies. To eliminate the defect it turned out like this: before opening the waffle iron, you need to squeeze it well by the handles and hold for 2-3 seconds. Then the middle grasps well and no longer tries to multiply by cell division.
  • The smell of oatmeal waffles was simply breathtaking. I don’t know why, but they turned out to be much tastier than ordinary oatmeal cookies.
  • I was going to grease them with jam and collect a kind of cake. I didn't have time ... Delicious!

Note

How often do you reach out to your inner child?
How long have you measured the depth of puddles? Did you paint your dreams on a foggy window? Maybe just recently you came up with names for the clouds? Or is it completely illogical for those around them to bring home a homeless kitten ..?
I was doing an experiment. If you yell in a minibus at a person who stands on your feet, then he will have a completely predictable defensive reaction (to a greater or lesser extent). If you go up to some aunt at a bus stop and say that she looks gorgeous today, then it is simply impossible to predict her reaction: from a silent question in her eyes, "Do we know each other?" to an extremely aggressive verbal flow “What do you want? The damned swindlers are already tired, there is no life from you! "
And all why? Because we've grown too old. And the inner child is lost all alone somewhere in the depths of our subconscious. Nobody cares about him, not even ourselves. Talk to him, give him freedom, at least for a while. And the trees will be big again, and the world will be colorful!
Afraid to start? Well then, start small - feed it with sweet oatmeal waffles ...

Crochet , from my waffle iron, apparently, even Lenin spoke to the sailors. I, on the advice of the leader, expropriated it from Mom. But somehow I came across such a miracle on a flea! In general, I like to wander around a flea, sometimes such specimens can be found there ...

sweetka, are you talking about my waffle iron? As a last resort, I think that our waffle iron and you are sisters.
sweetka
Qween , definitely sisters! Such a monster is heavy, heating up to the temperature of the earth's core.
Suslya
My mummy also has .... grit, take it for yourself, but she's such a serious infection! not lifting ... but now I think that after THIS I have to pour the waffle iron home. The light of the cha is also such a rectangular bandura, and when you squeeze the handles with all your strength, does it squeak and squeal?
Qween
I lie and think that our third sister will come soon Suslya ... And then you come Suslechka ! Let's ask Sweet Candy if she has a one-handed rolling pin?
Suslya
lets do it! Svetk, a firm rolling pin, one-handed do you have?

we do not know this. But! I from my husband's grandmother pricked the makitra in such a size that, I suspect they tried to bake it in a similar Iwasyk-Telesyk and eeeee ... meeeee .. I don’t know what to call it ... the container is so clay, in it my grandmother put a dough. this, I tell you, rarities!

Suslya
That nicho just like that when Queenie was looking for a rolling pin for herself, she told me that she was using her mother's isho, with one handle, and everyone in the subject was surprised that no one had ever seen such a beast, and then I galloped over and recognized my rolling pin in it! from mum presenter. So there was also a set and a crush, and a hammer .. So we laughed that the first set was bought by Queen's mother, and the second took mine

Well, I will answer, following Susley ...

It just turned out that we have Suslechkoy identical sets with one-handed rolling pins, which we took from our mothers.
And then "Bam" is a coincidence, you have the same waffle iron like mine, and we both took them from our mothers (I'm already silent about dumplings), and Suslina mom is also such a waffle iron (well, consider that Wort) .
Therefore, the first thing that came to my mind was whether you have a one-handed rolling pin?
sweetka
go crazy ... I can't even imagine a one-handed rolling pin !!! my mosk hangs and Toko with alt-control-divides is overloaded!
HOW IS THIS ONE-HANDED ROPE ???

Qween
But imagine that we both rolled, until recently.
Suslya
for sure ... I suffered for 15 years, until Queenie caught fire with a new rolling pin .. well, I followed ... now I have a normal, comfortable rolling pin, Queenie, if not for you! I would have struggled
sweetka
fefochki, and what prevented you from going to the market and buying an ordinary rolling pin for 3 rubles?
and yet the question now eats me: WHY was she made one-armed? what was the general idea behind it? you just kicked me out of the saddle today ...

It seems like nothing, I don't even remember what I thought, that I no longer want one-armed. Since childhood, she was rolled and normal.

The fact is that this is such a set where all sorts of things cling to the plane, well, this rolling pin clings to the bar with its handle, and hangs down just like that, without a handle. Soviet aesthetics is.
MariV
I have never met such a thing anywhere - only on this site I met this miracle - a one-handed rolling pin!
Okay, about the rolling pin - and in the final photo of the waffles - is this, I understand, a self-portrait?
sweetka
MariV , well, eeeeee ... rather, a page. something like "me and the sun"

My grandmother also used it as a potato machine, only ours was shorter.
sweetka
no, potato grinder, that's another story. looked like a grenade, right? we had the same identity. girls have everything much more neglected: one-armed rolling pin
TatianaSa
I haven't laughed like that for a long time !!! My mother also has such a rock ... still!
sweetka
gygy ... thanks for the reminder, she just burst through herself once again
Olga from Voronezh
Hello beauties! This rolling pin is for rolling out dough and for crushing crackers. First, pour the slices of dried bread like a crust into a container with high walls into smaller pieces, and then roll them on the table like dough to smaller particles. This is not a Soviet invention, but even before 1917 it was in common use.
sweetka
Olchik, well, at least now you can understand the logic, why a one-armed rolling pin. otherwise for the first time I just had a cultural stupor :)
TatianaSa
Today she told my mother to send me a waffle iron-squeaker. I will bake your delicious waffles
Feta
I also have such a one-armed rolling pin, only longer, also from my mother and a waffle iron from there, take it to the company And also just the other day I found out that for an unknown piece of iron with a handle all my childhood and youth in my mother lay in the stove - there was a mold for brushwood! If it were not for the Bread Maker, I would never have known what it was!
