Cabbage rolls with nuts in pumpkin sauce

Ingredients

Onion 1 large
Carrot 1 large
Vegetable oil 3 tbsp. l.
Walnuts 1.5 cups
boiled rice 3 glasses
Turmeric 1 tsp
Cabbage 12 leaves
Pumpkin 200g
Tomato sauce taste
Salt, sugar, ground pepper taste

Cooking method

  • Finely chop the onion, grate the carrots on a coarse grater and lightly fry everything in vegetable oil. At the end, add the nuts, which are chopped in a chopper, but not to flour, but to small pieces.

  • Add rice, turmeric, salt, pepper and 3 tbsp. l. tomato sauce.

  • Disassemble the cabbage into leaves, boil them in salted water and roll the cabbage rolls. Place in a glass pan or baking sheet, pour over the gravy and simmer in the oven.

  • It turns out a very tasty sweet and sour sauce!
