Mannik with apple

Ingredients

Semolina 200g.
Kefir 250g.
Wheat flour 150g.
Sugar 170g.
Eggs 2 pcs.
Vegetable oil 50 ml.
Soda 1h l.
Apple 1 PC.

Cooking method

  • Pour semolina with kefir and leave for 1 hour. in a warm place (I had it longer).
  • Cut the apple into small cubes.
  • Mix flour with baking soda.
  • Beat the egg with sugar until foam forms (3-4 minutes), whisking, add butter, manna-kefir mixture, then flour. Knead the dough quickly. The consistency is like sour cream of medium density. Add apple, stir.
  • Pour the dough into a greased mold. I baked in silicone.
  • Bake in an oven preheated to 180C for 35-40 minutes.
  • Cool down. Cut into slices before serving.
  • Very fragrant pie !!! Baked in the morning - it still smells !!! ;) Very tasty for both adults and children !!! Recommend!!

I put everything according to the recipe, just a little less sugar and flour. But it seemed to me a little apples, can you increase the quantity? And when the mannik cooled down, it hardened a little and settled down, is that, in principle, normal?
