Ingredients

Cottage cheese 500 gr.
Eggs 4 things.
Sugar 150 gr. (in the original recipe 1.5 cups)
Semolina 2.5 tbsp. l.
Candied fruit 100 g
Raisins 1/3 cup (I have 120 gr.)
Orange zest I took off the zest from one large orange
Butter 60 gr.
Salt to taste (I have 0.5 tsp)

Cooking method

  • Rub the curd, add egg yolks, sugar, salt, orange zest, semolina, melted butter and beat. Then, washed raisins, candied fruit cut into small cubes and whipped egg whites are introduced into the mass. The resulting mixture is spread in a mold greased with butter and sprinkled with breadcrumbs and baked in the oven.
  • You can also steam the pudding, after sprinkling the pan with sugar. Pudding is served hot with fruit syrup or jam.

The recipe is from an old cookbook, and judging by the amount of sugar (the recipe indicates 1.5 cups of sugar) is designed for a sweet tooth.
The pudding turned out to be very tasty, still, so much "filler" is thrown in, in vain or what? I have candied fruits from tangerine, orange, lemon and grapefruit peels, homemade. I put in half the sugar. I baked in a slow cooker, I indicated the baking time above. At the end of baking, she turned off the multicooker and left it without opening the lid for 20 minutes. Then she opened the lid and left it for another 1 hour without taking out the saucepan. Then I turned the pudding over onto a plate and voila ... the delicious dessert is ready:

No, there is not a single gram of flour. The pudding contains only semolina, only 2.5 tbsp. l. (62.5 gr.). I didn't add any baking soda or baking powder.
