Dolichos with celery (La Cucina Italiana YBD 50-90)

Ingredients

Dolichos 300 gr.
Fresh frozen celery. greens 2 tbsp. l.
garlic 2 prongs
salt pepper optional

Cooking method

  • Soak the beans - for 3 hours.
  • Then we put the multicooker in a saucepan, fill it with cold water so that there is water above them, see 2.
  • Close the lid - the valve is closed - beans mode - 30 minutes. Open the lid after relieving pressure (not forced!).
  • Then removed from the multi, thrown into a colander. Garlic was fried with olive oil in a frying pan, removed, there beans and celery (or whatever - parsley, etc.). They extinguished for another 10 minutes. Salt and pepper optional. I seasoned with soy sauce.

Dolichos is often used in Indian and Chinese cuisine as a side dish, in salads or soups. Dolichos differs from ordinary beans in a delicate pleasant aroma. It goes well with various spices. The only inconvenience is that these beans take a very long time to cook, even though the beans are soaked, the cooking time should be at least 1.5 hours - and we are in a cartoon - 30 minutes and that's it!
I soaked it with the goal of planting it in the country through seedlings.
