Loaf "Garlic"
Mruklik
Yes, I also want to try baking baguettes in HP. Thanks for the recipe in a separate topic - you can specifically ask around.
I really want to replace the butter with mustard oil (I recently bought it and ... "I would have shed it"). What do you think 1 tsp. enough or more, or not to change? And one more thing: pour garlic with dill immediately or on a signal in a batch?
Misha
Mruklik, if there is a desire to experiment - do not stop yourself - this is where our entire forum is held. Add mustard and write how it goes - it should be good.
I added garlic with dill both immediately and on a signal - and there was not much difference, theoretically it is better on a signal - so that garlic does not interfere with the yeast at the initial stage.
Olaim
Can you give details for those who do not have a bread machine? I really want a garlic baguette ...
Stern
Olaim, knead the dough with a mixer (dough attachments) or by hand. Let the dough rise, lower it, let it rise again, shape the baguettes as shown 🔗... Allow the baguettes to double until they are doubled, make cuts, sprinkle with water and bake at 180 ° until golden brown.
And still try to buy HP. This is not just a kitchen unit - your new life will begin!

From this volume I made 4 small baguettes. I liked it very much. Thanks for the recipe.

There is no dry garlic, can I add fresh garlic? And how will it taste? Will it taste bitter

I cooked this bread today, it turned out delicious, and it rose well! Thanks for the recipe

And I baked. Three small buns. This is the second time in my life I bake bread, and the very fact that it turned out still causes euphoria in me. It turned out that I do not have dry garlic, but bugs have settled in dill. I poured a teaspoon of oregano herbs into the dough, I thought I would spoil it - they have an intense taste. Nothing of the kind, in the bread they gave a very soft taste, pleasant. I will still bake!

Tell me, how do you make the cuts so obvious? they pulled together, just the stripes turned out

Pay attention to how they are taken in the photo. Cut relatively deep, about 1 cm with a sharp fillet knife, razor blade, etc.
Cut on the dough piece before the 2nd proofing of the dough, before putting it in the oven.
