Gourmet Chowder, or Drunken Shrimp in a Panasonic Multicooker SR-TMH18

Ingredients

Boiled peeled shrimps 500 g
Green peas (Bonduelle) 400 g (gross)
Bulb onions 200 g or 2 pcs.
Vegetable oil 20 ml
Salt
Ground pepper
Tomato paste 4 tbsp. l.
Lemon 1 PC.
Vodka 150 g
Boiled water 300-500 ml

Cooking method

  • Pour vodka into two glasses (75 g each). Cut half the lemon into slices, cut each circle in half. Put the lemon on a saucer. set the multicooker to the "baking" mode. Peel 2 onions, cut into small cubes and fry in vegetable oil until golden brown. add 100 ml of hot water, tomato paste, salt, stir well. Then green peas - we send all the contents of the jar to the saucepan. The shrimp can be defrosted beforehand, but I didn’t do it, the whole frozen briquette spilled out. Top up with hot water and pepper. I have a mill, there is a multi-colored pepper in it, so I was jumping around the pan with this mill and was afraid that I would overdo it with pepper. No, I didn't overdo it! But I can't say the exact amount
  • After 30 minutes, open the lid of the multicooker, pour one glass of vodka into the saucepan, close the lid, turn off the multicooker, and it is better to leave it for 15 minutes in the "heating" mode.
  • Drink a second glass of vodka, eat a lemon and set the table. Before serving, squeeze a little lemon juice from a half of a lemon into each plate, put a lemon on the plate.
  • Bon Appetit!

Note

This recipe is inspired by Sushka's Spicy Shrimp Soup, suggested by Hairpin at the rally. I don't know what I did wrong, I probably had the wrong tails (Shpilkin shrimps waved their tails before diving into the soup), but my soup reminded me more of borscht. So I modified it.
And one more thing: my soup only tastes better the next day.

Fugasca, and where did the fashion go to pour vodka into soup? Well, I already understood in the pizza dough, but why in the soup? Maybe you wrote it wrong? Well, look ... two glasses ... and according to the recipe you drink one ... Maybe there should be ... if you have no one to clink glasses with (well, glasses), then pour the second glass into the soup... and clink glasses with the pan ... But if you have someone with someone? !!!
Something is incomplete here ...

Drink a second glass of vodka, eat a lemon and set the table - this is the most important thing in the recipe!

MaryV! With the second glass, no questions at all ... I am worried about the fate of the first ...

A woman who cooks in the monastery kitchen told me that shrimp, mussels and oysters are NOT considered fish and fast food. So, this chowder may well take part in the competition of lean dishes

In short, these are animal products. During strict fasting, they also abstain from fish.);

And I also add ginger to an almost similar recipe - just not the one that is pink, from sushi, but which is fresh, ocher. It turns out very tasty - spicy and invigorating! moreover, ginger is very useful
