Good day! I have a Kenwood VM-250 bakery. I bought it quite recently, baked bread 10 times in total (using the recipes and advice of the members of the forum, for which thank you all very much!) And from 5 times I noticed that the oven rattles during kneading (in the area of the control panel, only at the bottom near the legs). I thought - I set it incorrectly, tried to move it in the working cycle, put something under the leg - all in vain, the oven rattles during kneading. And what to do? Drag to SC ??
fugaska
I have an assumption: if you are making a tight dough, then the mixer will rattle. this is normal (unless, of course, the dough is tight)
Sunny_Nika
Nope, I think - not for this reason, it starts to rattle from the very beginning, when even the ball is not formed yet, but the dough mixer has just started spinning ... Today I'll try to cook jam - mixing is also used there, I'll see how it will behave. But in general (I don't want to be considered anti-advertising to Kenwood) - I traveled three SCs (I live in Kharkov), it turns out that they broke contracts with Kenwood and no one undertakes to repair them - they say, like, the company itself provides an inconvenient service for the supply of parts and the repair of this equipment is expensive and long Today I just drove into the store (where I bought the stove - she was only a month old), they gave the address of another SC, they called there so as not to go in vain - they said - bring it, we'll see ... Here, now I'll go there - we'll see what they say :-( in principle, this rattling is not reflected in the quality of the bread - but it will not work to put such a rattler at night, and the sound is nasty, annoying ... So - the epic with the repair continues ...
Uncle Sam
I bought Ski-152 for my parents. In some modes, it rattles. Not much, but there is. I have a Panas-255, and apart from the shaking of the entire table (it stands on the ctr), it works very quietly. I started looking for why such a difference. I came to the conclusion: the thin metal of the Ski body is probably more durable than the Panas plastic, but in some places it begins to resonate with the engine. ... but Ski is cheaper!
Check if these are the sounds of the body, can it not spoil your nerves in the SC?
Sunny_Nika
And how to understand - the body is not the body? In one place (just under the control panel) I press my hand - it does not rattle, I release it - it rattles
Uncle Sam
Since you can (temporarily) remove this sound without disassembling the stove - the case, definitely!
Sunny_Nika
Thank you, but for some reason I thought that I was pressing something under the body ... Well, I won't be fooling around. It's just a shame if you set the timer to rattle at night.

I bought a BM210 bread maker three days ago. I liked it very much, the bread was prepared the first time, but here's the incident !!!!!!!!!!!!!! I baked bread last night, washed it, rubbed it. Tonight, I fall asleep all the products, insert them into the oven and what I see .......... the spatula does not rotate, I got scared, took off the form, tried to rotate the shaft from the bottom with my hand, but it does not rotate, I took the paddle and applied a small force, sort of ripped off a dead center, put it back, the shaft was spinning, but very hard and with a grinding noise.
Someone had such a problem or can someone tell you what is wrong? I liked it very much, I don't want to carry it back to the store.
How do you dear members of the forum rotate the shaft of the kneader blade ???
ted
Tell me, if you twist the shaft from below, it rotates easily? It's generally impossible for me to rotate the shaft, if you put on a blade inside and twist the blade, it seems to rotate, but not as easily as you would like. Maybe this is the way it should be ??? Tell me, your opinion is very much required !!!!!
Eve
Today, before loading the ingredients into the oven, I tried to turn the shaft with my hand, the bucket was already in the oven (empty of course), it did not spin, but when the bucket was not in the oven, the shaft scrolls.
Jefry
The shaft should rotate quite tightly, in my bucket it can only be turned by the blade or the lower shank. But so that the bread maker could not crank it - this is too much !!!
ted
Thank you very much for paying attention to my request !!! I baked some bread tonight and then tried to twist the spatula, everything seemed to be fine, probably my fault was also in the problem, because.before that I soaked it for 5 hours in water, probably something is structurally located in the mixer drive shaft, which is swollen, I think so, but after cooking it warmed up well and started working ...
Now I tried to twist mine by the shaft, the same as Jefry says, the shaft rotates tightly. I put the bread in the oven, it seemed to work well.
Advise whether it is worth contacting the service center, or wait, work on it ???
Eve
If it works and there are no failures, then I think everything is OK
ted
Today I went to the store where I took the HP to make sure with my own eyes that the shaft is spinning a little ...
I was horrified when I opened the HP and saw that all the cars were used and the manager whom I called did not deny this, but where is the probability that mine was not used? He started swearing with him, of course he got scared, but I didn't leave it that way, called Moscow, the store's representative office and reported the outrage !!!!
So comrades, check very carefully not only HP, but everything you buy, this store is called "Techno Power", I think that the moderator will not forbid to indicate the name of such a bad company !!!!
Alen delonghi
Well, just frost on the skin! How is ALL used X / P at the firm ??? Which city is this ???
How can the mixer shaft jam if it is hermetically separated from the bucket with an oil seal and nothing can leak onto the shaft? And if it gets numb - ONLY IN SERVICE, change the oil seal, otherwise the engine will burn out!
Jefry
Do not pay attention, if the shaft rotates and nothing leaks from below, then everything is ok! Mine is three months already and the shaft rotates much easier than at the beginning (if you want to, you can turn the shaft too). And about the used HP, look how many people with prejudice treat them - something is wrong and run to change, today I read a message from Lola_Press "I bought it, put it on the timer, at night something hummed, squeaked, bread did not work at all , I ran it changed to Panas and everything is ok! " It's a shame !!!

So the shaft wedges in a person. This is not good. As far as exchanges are concerned, a firm that has failed to establish the work of sales consultants MUST now spend on a significant reduction in the price of returned stoves. If there is 1-2 single use, and the warranty remains, there is nothing wrong, but you can buy it for half the price.
Once I accidentally caught a brand new coffee machine (espresso machine) in the store that cost over $ 1,000. Just because of a scratch on the side panel, it was discounted to $ 400. As soon as I opened my mouth to ask to postpone for 1 hour until I bring the money (there were no cards with me), they immediately bought it. And I would have taken it. A scratch is nonsense, I would have repaired it so that it would not be visible.

There must be clamps, you must unclench them! I also had this, I unclenched the clamps and the bucket is holding !!

Good day! I was recently presented with a Kenwood bread machine, baked bread 2 times, the most common one, everything worked out, it came up, the bread is delicious, but: it has some strange taste / smell. After the first time I thought about powdered milk, the second time I used the usual one, the aftertaste remained ... After the second time I realized that the dough bucket itself smells, although I washed it very carefully. I washed it again, soaked it in Feri, etc., the smell seemed to disappear, but now I realized that the oven also had this smell inside. Has anyone had a similar one? How can you get rid of this smell?
Alexandra
In my instructions (Bork) it is written that before the first use, wash the bucket with a mild detergent liquid and turn it on empty for 10 minutes in baking mode. Then cool, rinse again and then use.
Maybe this will help you?
Sofim
I had a smell in the bread from the bucket. smelled "new". but after a couple of pastries passed. probably you will be like that too.

Oh, thank you ... I did wash the soap, but I didn't include the empty one, it didn't seem like it was written in the instructions ... Now I've baked it for the third time, the taste is already less, I hope everything will disappear soon

Thank you! I also hope, now it has become less disturbing, I left the stove with the lid open, maybe it will wear out?

I also tore a bucket yesterday. I didn't understand what to squeeze and where. But after dancing with a tambourine around the bread maker and inserting a bucket with considerable effort, I hardly pulled it out after completing program 1.
GAlexV
And I also have an unpleasant smell after the first use. Unfortunately, the instructions say that it is forbidden to turn on the stove at idle speed (without loading ingredients).

In the instructions for my stove, it was written that it is advisable to grease the bucket with fat and put it in the 160 g oven for 10 minutes. Then, as it were, rub this fat into the surface. It says that in this way the surface is "hardened". And it is advisable to do this procedure from time to time.

The guides on the bucket and the clips centering it must fit exactly. Use a file if manual rework is required. The bucket must be inserted all the way into the grooves on the bottom of the oven, but do not overdo it with pressure. In the process - you can always pause and correct if it has shifted. Good luck!

At different times, an error of the E-S temperature sensor pops up (according to the instructions), most often (2/4), when the dough has come up and baking is just beginning. If you catch the moment, you can bake it in the oven. Did anyone have this? Is it just to be sent to the service? How serious: long - expensive? Or should you consider a new oven? This is about 3 years old.

Possible options:
In the best case, the contact leaves, in the worst case, a sensor breakdown or an electronics failure.
In any case, you need to disassemble and look, therefore, you in the Service.
Mankabena
it turned out to be easier, it just had to be thoroughly washed from the inside, outside the bucket.

The situation is as follows:
I decided that the bread was not baked and tried to turn on the baking mode according to the instructions. But this is bullshit. I select the mode (zero), select the baking time and press "start" after which the stove beeps and throws me back to the program selection menu. This happens all the time.
HELP. How to turn on the baking mode
Lissa
The program works if the stop button is pressed with a delay after baking. If the program has been turned off. You cannot turn on baking.
Iriska
The oven may be overheated after baking. You need to wait a couple of minutes. Then turn on the baking mode. It was like that for me too. I baked a lemon pie, but the top was very light. Immediately after the end signal, I turned on baking, but the HP showed some kind of error. After a couple of minutes, I turned on the baking program and she finished the cake. Try this.
Lissa
No.In Kenwood, you need to install the program according to the instructions

So I put it. But it didn't get baked
Lissa
So it won't be baked. After the signal about the end it is necessary to do everything according to the instructions. Now just take out and bake in the oven (without a bucket)
annihilator
But did the instructions say this?
annihilator
And more. I do everything according to the recipe, but instead of unrefined flour according to the recipe, I put the usual white flour. Can this be the cause of failure?

With white, bread always turns out more magnificent. Try covering the holes with foil on the side.
And extended pastries will come out another time
The Extended Bake mode can only be used after
the end of the main baking cycle, and after the display
'END' will appear.

An old temka, but still I, too, somehow started to rattle ... After a detailed revision, it turned out that the handle rattles on the bucket, Threw it to the other side, and everything became fine
Mankabena
Most likely there is a contact .. The error appears from time to time. I don’t want a typewriter for 4 years, let it work as long as it can, it’s already rusted inside or I don’t know what it is, covered with dark spots.

Tell me pliz !!!
a week ago we bought a Kenwood 250 stove
everything is cool, baked 3 times and ... noticed traces of knife rotation in the teflon bucket at the bottom ...

it is clear that the bucket and teflon are very bad from this ...

the stove was always on a flat surface and inserted the bucket all the way.

Here I think what to do. Take to the store to ask to be replaced

My bucket was scratched a long time ago. Surface scratches. The metal from which the bucket is made is not visible. I continue to bake bread and knead the dough. There is a distance between the scapula and the bucket.
How seriously did you have it? Maybe you have a spatula scraping a bucket?
ivshof
yes, the scapula scratches along the bottom, apparently. The last time I noticed a new knock when mixing

So when I insert a spatula into a bucket, it does not scrape ...
but the marks are exactly from a knife (in a circle)

Are there any notches or roughness on the bottom of the shovel? If the shaft with the blade is manually rotated, outside the HP, does it scrape?
If not, chances are that something hard has gotten between the paddle and the bucket.
ivshof
the knife does not scratch when rotating ...

apparently the walnuts stuck badly and were put in early (during kneading)

balin, upset (

Can't you find the buckets separately?
tomorrow I will try to bake ordinary bread (do not add anything extra) and see if the thread will catch on or not.

I don’t think there are horrible scratches to metal. The bread does not sponge cake, it will bake perfectly in the present bucket. Put nuts / candied fruits and other "scratches" as the last ones when laying food or when the bun has already formed a little, then they will not get stuck under the shoulder blade.
For example, in Panasonic, the dispenser works when the bun is already mixed, all solid additives immediately stick to the dough. And I put seeds, coriander and mustard seeds immediately when laying the food, on top of everything else.
alyona
I think everyone has mini scratches on the bottom of the bucket.
Especially when adding nuts, seeds, dry onions, tomatoes, etc. This, unfortunately, cannot be avoided.
[ivshof / b], you have that very good. deep scratches?
ivshof
scratches: I would say that they are quite deep in one place (you can see something scratching there several times) it is clear that it is not right through =) the metal is not visible ..

I'll try to bake it, we'll see. In the end, today's norms were baked .. despite the scratches

Many thanks to everyone who responded !!! Very nice

And now, having calmed down, I'll go to sleep)

Good night everybody !
