I have a dishwasher next to a gas stove, it has strong wall protection. Boiling water inside, but normal outside.
Also email. BOSCH oven - odors do not pass through the walls and the door and there is no heat in the kitchen from it.
Viki
Thank you very much! We will take - definitely. And when the light is turned off for a short time, the program does not go astray?
Admin

I haven't had this yet! We must look at the passport.
Lydia
Oh, I think I need to buy it as soon as possible - as soon as the money appears (though I'm afraid this will only happen at the end of December or in January), otherwise this selection process will finish me off. But it seems that I understood the main thing: it is necessary to determine which functions of the dishwasher are the most important for me, and which can be neglected. And then she filled out a questionnaire (something like "We will help you choose a PM"), and received the answer that "there are no such models" and that I "need to lower the requirements." At the same time, I did not at all require that my future PM put the dishes in herself, and then arrange them, clean, in the cabinets.

BUT ... to the new kitchen - LARGE FULL SIZE ONLY (as large as possible)
I understand that our machines are the same, I have a question - when switching to the next program, it emits a very loud click - this is normal, how does that bother me?
Lydia
Well, if I figured it out correctly, then I would like my future PM: 1) to be narrow or "normal" with the possibility of embedding under the table top (the narrow version is preferable), 2) would have the function "half load" or "wash in the upper box ", 3) so that it would be possible to wash pots and trays in it (I know that some PM have holders for trays, but I do not know how necessary they are), 4) the" aquastop "function is needed, 5) what programs to wish for sinks - I don't know, can you tell me? 6) price - from 18,000 to 25,000 rubles (well, plus or minus 2,000 rubles). In general - the optimal ratio of price and quality: pay as for ... well, let's say, a sponge for washing dishes, and get a top-class PM.

Of course there is an aquastop with an electromechanical valve and is offered by Siemens. In terms of the front, in its pure form, the new car is a stainless steel door with holes for riveting a decorative panel and a recessed handle like a car. If you want cheap and cheerful, then calmly paste over it with self-adhesive beautiful (I did it in my country house) and leave a slot for the handle. The facade is needed only as a decor to match the color of the kitchen set. Then, of course, it looks more beautiful - a panel that matches the color of all the furniture and a massive nickel-plated handle, but this is just a decor. Here the countertop needs to be done, otherwise there are only corners on top for its fastening and a felt insulation mat sticks out. She works very quietly. But you can simply glue the tabletop to these corners, you will not lift the car for it.
torturesru
To be honest, I have not seen such models, Siemens and AEG-Electrolux do not seem to have them. The ones I've seen have top walls and a top made in one block. Zanussi has built-in cars with a front panel, but I haven't come across them myself. I and my friends have Siemens, Elekrolux and little Bosch (for 4 sets), I can say for sure about these cars. About the built-in and their front panel, I see you are a little confused - difficulties with this are only if you want to build it into a kitchen designed in the same style, then you will have to attach a thick panel so that there is no difference in thickness with kitchen cabinets and a handle is attached to it. Since it will be necessary to pull this handle to open, then it must be fastened seriously.Another thing is that for this it is enough to unscrew the four bolts in the car door, remove the inner lining and screw the screws with wide heads through the already existing holes. If you don't need to fix such a thing, then cover it with whatever you want, even with self-adhesive, even with hardboard or plastic on double-sided tape, and leave a window for the handle. The fact is that most built-in models do not have a lock with a push latch, it would be difficult to attach a panel to it and open simply with a strong pulling motion. But the lock works absolutely reliably, don't let that confuse you. So there is no need to make a single style, you will simply open it by the built-in handle (on the car door there is a recess with a flange for which it is convenient to pull, a kind of "technical handle"), very convenient. I like it even more than the handle attached to the false panel. But beauty, as you know ...

I got a dishwasher 4 and a half years ago. None of her acquaintances had her, what kind of animal it was - no one knew. During this time, they got a dishwasher: mom, sister, best friend. Who has what. I have Ariston. Then it cost reasonable money, the rest cost generally like a bomber, now it's easier with this. All this time it works fine, but it wears out. I'll be at the Milla, since my income allows it. She replaced the washing machine Aristonovskaya with Millet. The difference, of course, is big, but it must be borne in mind that the aristoche was already 5 years old, the model is outdated. To say that Ariston is bad for separation - I will not say. Inferior, but quite a working technique.

I have a large dishwasher 60 cm for 12 sets. Works 1-3 times a day. Everyday. I can't imagine how it is possible to accumulate dishes for several days. We (a family of 4 people: me, a husband and two children), it gets littered in one meal (except breakfast). This is at least 4-8 plates, salad bowls, plates from under the dishes, pans, saucepans, cups in which I cooked, 4 mugs, cutlery. If I didn't clog the dishes at once, I fold it, turn on the rinse and leave it so that the food debris does not dry out. With the dishwasher, the dishes began to run out quickly. I had to buy additional mugs, forks, spoons. With my hands I practically never wash anything. Mom, having used the dishwasher, said that without it you would not be glad to guests (as I remember the mountains after NG).

With such intensive work, at first in my Aristochka, a container for cutlery broke (one by one pieces of plastic flew out of the bottom). True, the son is 4 years old and he has been playing this crap since birth until I turn away. Then the clips of the small plastic shelves on the upper level broke, then one of the shelves broke in half. This does not affect the operation of the machine, but the fact itself. Now the rubber door seals are already pretty worn out and from time to time bits fly off from them. However, the nozzles themselves did not clog even once.Several times I forgot to close the salt container after refueling. As a result, the powder got into the salt container and for a month the dishes were all white stains until this powder was washed out ...

In general - like this. Now I'm ripe to replace her with Millais. I will not change the kitchen yet, it is less than 5 years old, but then, if anything, I will just hang a new facade on my dishwasher (I have it built-in).
Wow, I'm a treatise nwayala!

Ariston produces very decent equipment for its price range (the bottom of the middle class). It's natural to compare him in a premium brand - Miella is not even funny. The quality of technology - everything - has now declined compared to the past decade. The reason is simple, the technology becomes outdated too quickly and people change it, therefore the price and cost price, and with them the reliability, are reduced, no one will use it for ten years. Indeed, for the same Ariston, the famous margarita-koschemere washing machine still works perfectly. I have an Indesit gas stove, it is already ten years old, but it plows perfectly and somehow my hand does not rise to change it. Compared to the other two, I have - Bosch and Electrolux - only the design and enamel are slightly worse. And that's all.
Scarecrow
By the way, it was Aristoshnaya Margarita that I had a washing machine. I replaced it. But she still works great for my mom.

Of course, it makes no sense to compare Millet and Ariston. And so it is clear in whose favor the advantage. It's just that it's time to change the dishwasher (almost 5 years of trouble-free work of my aristochka for wear and tear - this, in my opinion, is very decent) and now there are funds for something higher.

The Boshevsky PMMs have the upper roof removed. They can be built under a worktop, although they are sold as freestanding. You just need to read the instructions carefully. There, as a rule, it is written whether it is possible or not. I have this 🔗 - there is information about it that you can remove the tabletop and the lower bar to put it in the closet. I'm happy with the machine, although there is no half load, I don't need it, for a family of 4 people there is rarely a little dirty dishes, much more often there is not enough clean

All Bosch models are here:

Yes, Bosch has a very decent technique. And it seems that since this is now a single concern, the filling of the products is similar to Siemens - aquastop, servoslos, etc.
Sirius
Yes, I read all 17 pages and realized that even though almost all experienced bakers and multivariate workers, very few know at least a little about dishwashers. Indesit IDE44 has been working for me since autumn 2004.
Let's start in order. How many of you have read the instructions for your PMM from start to finish and do you know that the quality of dishwashing depends on its correct setting? And there is something to adjust, the first is the hardness of the water, for this you need salt, which you periodically fall asleep. And it can be adjusted in a very wide range, the instructions are written clearly, adjust the water hardness (that is, salt consumption) according to the water hardness in your region (you can find it out in the water utility or using test strips, almost like a pregnancy test). From the factory, the adjustment goes almost always to the average value and I have not seen the installer who would set the correct value from the water hardness in your tap. They are betting on how it was or more, saying that no one has complained about it yet.
Next, the rinse aid consumption is adjusted, which is necessary for proper drying of the dishes and the absence of streaks. It is selected empirically after the correct setting of the salt consumption and the first few washes.
Well, in conclusion, pour the powder into the dispenser directly for washing dishes.
If your PMM has a 3in1 program, then you can use tablets, but as practice has shown, it comes out several times more expensive than a separate powder, rinse aid, salt.
And lastly, do not be lazy to get off the couch and go to the electronics supermarket and see and feel it live. This is a slow cooker for everyone and you can choose it from the picture and advice on the forum. And there are more than 50 models of dishwashers on the market, 7-8 manufacturers, 3 different sizes, plus a built-in or free-standing.
Even a washing machine is much easier to choose, there is no need to sort and fold the laundry, everything will be washed so well. And in the PMM, the dishes need to be sorted, and correctly, the quality of washing also depends on this. Plus the convenience of baskets, guides, glass shelves and more. Here I came across a message that our colleague bought herself a new Kaiser, so he is not convenient for her in this particular plan. Not always 14 sets on the label correspond to at least 12 in reality. And not all that glitters is gold.
Well, I think that's enough for a start. Who wants to buy, read and draw small conclusions, and who has already bought, then read the instructions for the PMM again.

Sirius
How can a person who has never used a dishwasher determine the convenience of baskets, guides, etc.? The question is practical, since you have to choose a model very soon. So far I know that it is full-sized and Electrolux or Zanussi.
Sirius
We all start using something for the first time. Here you have programmable HP, you somehow chose it.
A simple tip, go to the supermarket, open several PMMs standing next to different manufacturers and already there you will understand a little where it is convenient and where it is not very good. Ask the consultants what they will tell you (though half of them will be tales of the OBS type), but after listening to the opinion of 4-5 consultants from different stores, you will already have the right direction in choosing PMM.
Just first, decide what kind of PMM you need, built-in or freestanding, also dimensions - full-size 12-14 sets, narrow 8-9 sets, tabletop 4-5 sets.
From this and dance, your circle will immediately narrow to 3-5 options, and look further, feel, ask.

Sirius, to determine the hardness of water in the region, a test is bought at a pet store, done twice. In spring-summer and autumn-winter. In principle, enough. It is not worth bothering with the amount of powder / rinse aid when buying. Then, empirically, everything will work out by itself.

About the convenience of the baskets. For those who didn't have a dishwasher. We go to the kitchen, see what kind of dishes we use, how much of it. Multiply by 2 (experience suggests that when buying a PMM, the amount of dirty dishes is at least doubled). We go to the store, look at the model we like (well, the design is beautiful, the name is wow, the technical characteristics, the presence of a display, etc.), open, pull out the baskets one by one and figure out what and how we will put in the car. How many plates, how many cups, which basket for cutlery, is it needed at all (I often take out mine, it takes up a lot of space). Is it convenient to put your own pots, dear ones, and not advertising ones in the store?

I disagree about the washing machine. It also has its own wisdom. In the PMM - the dishes are rinsed, washed, rinsed again, dried, and in the washing machine - different washing modes, for different types of fabrics, etc. It is also not so easy to figure it out, but it is possible, even necessary
Sirius
Mams, I myself buy tests in a pet store (there are liquid ones, and there are just strips, but less accurate). This needs to be confused even before buying PMM, but powder, rinse and salt can be bought at any time.
Just a conversation on 17 pages basically boiled down to - oh girls, and what kind of PMM do you have? Yes, oh then, and I myself want this, that's it, tomorrow I'm going to buy. At least something similar written on this page has not been met before.
Also decide if you need the maximum number of washing programs, I have 7 of them, but I usually use 3, sometimes 4. The rest are duplicated with slight differences. Do you need a screen on the door showing the washing time and a delay timer, the need to add salt and rinse aid. Etc.
Here below is the choice of BOSCH-Siemens, but the fact that they are one concern and all PMM is done by BOSCH, just with a slight change in the design of the PMM and an overpayment of 10-20% compared to BOSCH, since Siemens positions itself higher. It's just that BOSCH has the largest line of PMMs in our CIS market, there really is where to roam. The same PMM Gorenie fills BOSCH, only the models are 2 times smaller, usually the most popular, and the difference is again in the color of the inscriptions, inner baskets, and the price is 10-20% lower than BOSH. Here's where you go and draw your own conclusions, is it worth paying more if everything except the brand inscription is the same.
And once again I repeat, decide a little on the dimensions and brand, go to the manufacturer's website, look, choose a couple of the models you like, go to the supermarket and choose there, feel, open-close, ask the sellers. But do not ask what he would advise to buy, because he will advise what to sell. They have no experience in how to use it, all the knowledge is from the company's catalog, which you yourself can see.

Yesterday I became the happy owner of a desktop Electrolux ESF 2420. A lot of questions immediately appeared:

1. The no salt light is on, although I poured about a kilogram. It went out only for 1 sink, then it caught fire. Again, perhaps pour salt ???
2. After the end of washing, there is some kind of foam inside and there is a lot of it. I even washed the dishes without the cleaning powder, everything is still in foam. What to do?
3. After washing the dishes at the bottom of the machine, about a glass of water remains in the filter. This is normal?

torturesru, you have a similar machine in my opinion, only a little better. Can you clarify these points for me. Hopefully, these are solvable problems ...
LenaV07
One of the main desires of any woman is not to wash the dishes. It is quite feasible, because modern dishwashers do it brilliantly! True, for the successful operation of this technique, simple rules must be followed.
THEY NEED TO BE SOAKED

Before loading dirty dishes into the dishwasher, remove large food residues from them, and if pots or pans are burnt, soak them for a while in warm water. By the way, the list of dishwasher programs of a number of well-known brands (for example, Indesit, Ariston, Whirlpool, Bosch, Siemens, Miele, etc. - basically, these are models of the middle and higher price category) include programs "presoaking in hot water" and "Pre-rinse", which further simplifies your task.

Most likely, even if the pre-rinse is not performed, the dishes will still shine clean at the end of the wash cycle, no matter what. But in the case of heavy contamination (this mainly applies to pots and pans), some traces can still remain. Of course, you can leave the pan in the car for one more cycle, and then another one, because experts believe that IN THREE CYCLES OF OPERATION THE DISHWASHER IS ABLE TO STEAM ANY STAIN, except perhaps traces of lipstick, but why waste electricity if you can get by with a little - just put dirty dishes under the running water.

So RULE 1

RINSE DISHES BEFORE PLACING IT IN THE DISHWASHER
ALL YOUR PLACE

In modern dishwashers, dishes are placed in one of two inner baskets. The position of the upper basket is usually adjustable so that different sizes of dishes can be washed. The upper basket usually contains tableware, cups and glasses, as well as lightly soiled saucers, plates and bowls of all kinds. A removable shelf is also available for cups (eg in Miele and Gaggenau models).

All manufacturers point to the possibility of adjusting the height of the upper basket, but it should be especially noted that in some devices of the middle and higher price category, the basket can be adjusted using special levers even when loaded, which undoubtedly increases the ease of use. Such an adjustment system usually has brand names: "Click-clack" for Candy, "Rackmatik" for Siemens and Bosch, "Flexi Racks" for Asko.

The lower basket holds pots, trays, pans and other massive kitchen utensils. To machine wash large pots, the lower basket in some models (for example, Ardo and Gorenje) can be removed altogether by placing the dirty dishes directly on the bottom. Another way to increase the working space of the lower basket is the presence of reclining racks (holders). If you need to free up space for large dishes, these racks (otherwise - pins) can simply be folded.

For small cutlery, special trays are intended, which are in the devices of all dishwasher manufacturers without exception. Some companies (such as Asko and Siemens) include specially designed baskets for knives, as well as separate trays or holders for each type of cutlery. The number of such baskets (trays) can be from one to five to six - for each type of cutlery. The number of cutlery that fits inside is indicated in the technical characteristics of the appliance. Sometimes these devices can be purchased at a store or service center for an additional fee.

Glasses and glasses, as a rule, are put on stable holders located at the top of the machine - bottom upwards.

Some manufacturers (Siemens, Bosch, Gaggenau, etc.) offer a special nozzle for washing trays in the kit, which is located inside the machine instead of the upper basket. In addition to trays, you can also wash grates, hood filters, trays and other large items in it.

Manufacturers of high-end equipment (for example, Gaggenau) make a special cassette for washing silver dishes, which are usually not washed in the machine because of the danger of causing clouding of silver. This cassette is made of aluminum, which protects silver dishes from oxidation during washing.

So RULE 2

USE ALL POSSIBLE HOLDERS, TRAYS AND RETAINERS FOR OPTIMUM DISPLACEMENT INSIDE

When loading crockery and cutlery, consider the following factors:

Dishes and cutlery inside the dishwasher must not interfere with the turning of the water spray. The selected washing temperature must correspond to the type of dishes loaded into the machine. If you place both fragile and ordinary dishes inside the appliance at the same time, select the program with the minimum washing temperature. Small items (eg lids) should be placed in the small cutlery tray. Crockery and cutlery should not be placed inside each other, in order to avoid damage, it is advisable to avoid touching one dish item with another, especially when it comes to glass glasses, glasses and wine glasses. Hollow objects (cups, glasses, bowls) should be installed upside down to prevent water from accumulating in the recesses and recesses. So RULE 3

PROPERLY PLACE DISHES INSIDE THE MACHINE
DO NOT. OR YOU CAN, BUT CAUTION

Not all types of dishes can be washed in a dishwasher. It is also not capable of performing the functions of a washing machine: therefore, it is strictly forbidden to put sponges, towels and all other objects in it that can be completely saturated with water.

NOT DESIGNED FOR CLEANING IN THE DISHWASHER:

Old cookware with a coating that is not heat resistant. Glued dishes. Cutlery with wooden, horn, porcelain or mother-of-pearl handles. Rusting steel items. Non heat resistant plastic items. Wood products (e.g. cutting boards). Tin or copper objects. Arts and crafts - for example, gzhel and khokhloma. Very small objects that can fall out of the trays during washing and fall onto moving parts of the machine. In principle, some types of dishes can be washed in a dishwasher, but only in a gentle mode and with utmost care. This means that you should select the delicate program with the lowest temperature and duration of washing, and after the end of the cycle, remove the dishes from the machine as soon as possible.

Dishes that require extreme care include:

Crockery.Dishes with overglaze painting (the painting will not disappear, but it may lose color and fade). Silver and aluminum objects (they can also fade if they have food debris, especially egg yolk and mustard). Glassware, on the packaging of which there is no symbol indicating the possibility of washing in a dishwasher: at a temperature of 35-40 degrees, such glass will not crack, but it may become cloudy. So RULE 4

DO NOT WASH EVERYTHING IN A DISHWASHER
SOFTWARE

The dishwasher automatically adjusts the water and detergent consumption by shortening or, conversely, lengthening certain program cycles. The temperature can also be automatically regulated within certain limits (for example, with standard programs - from 50 to 65 ° C). The degree of cleanliness of the dishes is determined by the machine automatically using special sensors based on the level of water pollution.

The standard washing program is included in all machines. It is designed for medium to heavily soiled dishes and includes prewash, wash, intermediate rinse, rinse and dry. Typically, these programs last from 80 to 120 minutes.

For dishes with a medium level of dirt, as well as for heat-sensitive and fragile dishes, programs in which the washing takes place at a temperature of about 50 ° C are optimal. Most manufacturers (e.g. Candy, Bosch and Siemens, Gorenje, Ardo, Miele, Gaggenau) call such a program an eco-program or an economical program, mentioning that when choosing this cycle, despite the machine going through all the main stages of washing and drying, consumption of water, electricity and detergent is optimized. At the same temperature, the bioprogram takes place, which is recommended to start when loading special detergents with active enzymes into the machine. It is believed that it is at 50 degrees that the action of enzymes becomes most effective. The bio program is found, in particular, in Whirlpool, Zanussi, Electrolux, Gorenje, Miele models.

The intensive wash takes place at a temperature of 60 ° to 75 ° C and usually includes a pre-wash, a regular wash, two intermediate rinses, a rinse and a drying. Some manufacturers (for example, Candy, Asko, Miele) separately mention the intensive wash program at 75 ° C - as a rule, this is the maximum water temperature that is used in dishwashers. Choose an intensive wash when you want to thoroughly wash pots and trays, and also if you want to clean the dishes of dried food residues.

If the feast is prolonged and a certain amount of dishes has accumulated that require thorough washing, you can start the pre-wash program, which is usually carried out at a temperature of 50-60 degrees and lasts for 30-40 minutes. Depending on the design of the detergent compartment from different manufacturers, it is recommended that if you select a prewash cycle, pour more detergent into the same tray as for regular wash (in AEG models) or use the additional compartment for detergent compartment (in Electrolux models and Whirlpool).

In many dishwashers (some models of Bosch, Siemens, Gaggenau, Miele), using the additional keys, you can pre-rinse dishes with warm water (30-40 degrees) or pre-soak them (Whirlpool, Electrolux, Ariston, Indesit, Gorenje models) in cold or warm water. The duration of these cycles is on average 20 to 35 minutes. This is a great feature for lazy housewives who don't want to rinse the dishes themselves before loading them into the machine!

Pre-wash, rinse and soak programs allow you to clean dishes more efficiently with a further minimum consumption of water and energy. After completing these programs, you can add other, less soiled sets to the cleaned dishes and set the program for standard, economical or intensive wash.

Most dishwashers also have a program for washing glass and fragile dishes (glasses, wine glasses, salad bowls, etc.). Typically, such dishes are washed at a water temperature of 30 to 40 ° C and includes one wash, one intermediate rinse and drying.

The duration of a quick wash program rarely exceeds 30 minutes, but during this time the machine has time to thoroughly rinse and rinse the dishes. Usually this program is one of the most economical, that is, the device consumes the least amount of water and electricity during operation. Some manufacturers (Merloni - Ariston and Indesit brands) give the quick wash program resonant names (for example, the After Meal cycle). This name reveals the meaning of the program: it is recommended to use it for “freshly soiled” dishes.

The washing temperature is either manually adjusted using a separate switch, or is rigidly "tied" to the program and cannot be changed. As a rule, it depends on the cost of the machine - manual adjustment of the temperature regime is possible in devices of the middle and higher price category.

For “novice users” of dishwashers, it will be more convenient to purchase a dishwasher with a rigid “binding” of the temperature to the program, so as not to think once again about the correct choice of washing temperature. Note, however, that even if it is possible to manually adjust the temperature, it occurs within certain limits (from 30 to 40 degrees Celsius - for delicate programs, from 50 to 60 - for standard programs, from 60 to 75 - for intensive programs). That is, the dishwasher will not allow you to set the temperature to 70 degrees when choosing a delicate cycle for washing fragile dishes!

So RULE 5

THE PROGRAM AND TEMPERATURE OF WASHING MUST CORRECT TO THE TYPE OF PANELS LOADED INSIDE
DRYING: WITH OR WITHOUT FAN?

There are two types of drying: traditional (it is also called condensation, as well as "drying by accumulated or residual heat") and turbo drying. In the first case, the dishes are dried by heating the air to a predetermined temperature, under the influence of which the drops remaining after washing the dishes condense. Residual heat drying is typical primarily for economy class models, which are found in almost all manufacturers.

Drying with a heat exchanger can be considered a type of condensation drying (this method is used, for example, in a number of Bosch and Siemens models). In this case, after the end of the washing cycle, cold water is automatically poured into the heat exchanger, as a result of which moisture quickly condenses on the cold left wall of the washing chamber and flows into the drain. Drying takes place in a closed volume, without air intake from the outside, which saves energy. Drying efficiency with this method is usually assessed by the highest class.

During turbo drying, the dishes are blown with hot air using a fan, which speeds up the drying process of the dishes and practically eliminates the risk of any stains appearing on it. At the same time, the use of a fan slightly increases the power consumption per cycle of the machine operation. Turbo drying is often found in Ariston, Indesit, Candy, Electrolux, Zanussi models (mainly in models of the middle and higher price category).

Some manufacturers (Asko, Ariston, Indesit) have models with an additional drying function. When it is turned on, the temperature of the water during the last rinse of the dishes rises by 4-5 degrees, which makes drying more efficient (the duration of the program is increased by 5 minutes). In Europe, it is customary to evaluate the drying efficiency, as well as the washing efficiency, on a five-point scale: from A (highest score) to E (lowest).

So RULE 6

RINSING OUT, DO NOT FORGET TO DRY
WATER ASSISTANTS

Never use soap or powder to clean dishes in the dishwasher. Special detergents are intended for dishwashers, and the use of anything else is strictly prohibited.

For the full operation of the dishwasher, three components are required: a special detergent (form of production: powder or tablets), rinse aid and salt. Modern dishwashers consume about 30 g of regenerating salt and 25 g of detergent per wash.

A kilogram of washing powder will cost 180-450 rubles, depending on the manufacturer. Approximately one washing of dishes with powder in the machine costs from 5 to 12 rubles.

Another form of release, tablets, are more convenient to use. The tablets are multilayer with a controlled dissolution rate of the layers, which allows the active ingredients to provide optimal washing performance. A package of 25 pieces costs about 200 rubles, 60 pieces - over 400 rubles. Thus, the cost of one wash with the help of tablets is 6-8 rubles.

If you have purchased a detergent tablet, please be aware that some tablets do not dissolve during short programs. For this reason, dishwasher manufacturers recommend that when using detergent tablets, select the normal length programs with prewash. The dosage depends on the size of the dishwasher (see technical data). The average consumption of detergent tablets is one tablet for every 20 liters of volume, in the case of very hard water, the initial dosage should be increased by one tablet.

The assortment of dishwasher detergents, as opposed to detergents for hand washing, is less diverse in Russian stores. Here you can count the brands on your fingers, note that mainly European products are presented: Calgonit, Kristall-fix (Luxus Professional), Somat, Frosch, dalli, WKultra (Belgium), Fairy (tablets, France) and some others.

So RULE 7

USE ONLY SPECIAL DETERGENTS WITH THE RIGHT DOSAGE
SHINE AND CLEANLINESS OF PLATES

Most manufacturers recommend adding a special liquid rinse aid to the machine to completely remove the remaining detergent from the dishes and give them a shine. Usually, in addition to a number of chemical components that are safe for dishes, it also contains citric acid and sometimes a flavoring agent. The average price for a 500 ml bottle in Moscow home appliances stores is 80-120 rubles. The most popular brands of rinse aids are the same as for powders: Calgonit, Kristall-fix, Klarspuller.

So RULE 8

USE ONLY SPECIAL DETERGENTS WITH THE RIGHT DOSAGE
DON'T FORGET TO SALT

For good results when washing dishes, you must use soft water, that is, containing a small amount of lime. Otherwise, a white lime deposit will appear on the dishes and on the inside of the dishwasher itself. You can get information about the water hardness level in your area from the relevant technical services, some dishwasher manufacturers (for example Brandt) include a water hardness tester with the appliance. There are 5 levels of water hardness (0-6 dH, 7-11 dH, 12-16 dH, 17-21 dH, 22-35 dH, respectively), and with four of them (from the 2nd to the 5th) water requires softeners to ensure proper dishwasher operation.

In Moscow, tap water has a fairly high level of hardness, therefore, before the wash cycle, it is imperative to load the regenerating salt into the car. In most dishwashers, the container for the regenerating salt is large enough, and you can immediately load up to 1-2 kilograms of the agent there, and when it comes to an end, the “add salt” indicator on the control panel will light up. The average cost of a standard package of regenerating salt (2 kg) is 130-200 rubles.

So RULE 9

IF YOU WANT YOUR TABLEWARE TO SHINE, DON'T FORGET TO RINSE YOUR PANEL
LEAVE HER THERE

After the program is completed, wait for a while (approximately - about 15 minutes) for the dishes to cool down a little: firstly, there is a danger of scalding by hot steam when opening the door, and secondly, hot dishes break more easily. Dishwasher manufacturers recommend first removing the dishes from the lower basket, and then from the upper basket, so that the remaining water from the upper basket does not drip onto the dishes in the lower one and leave dirty streaks on it.

Some dishwashers are equipped with a heating function. It is recommended to turn it on for clean dishes, immediately before serving them, then the plates will be warm, which will add more sophistication to the meal.

Therefore, RULE 10

DO NOT HURRY TO REMOVE THE DISHES FROM THE MACHINE. (The exception is fragile dishes - it is just better to take them out of the car as soon as possible)

1. The no salt light is on, although I poured about a kilogram. It went out only for 1 wash, then it caught fire. Again, perhaps pour salt ???
It was the same for me too, after 3-4 washes it passed (after the salt was sufficiently saturated with water). By the way, in the future, when adding salt, water will flow out and a lot.
3. After washing the dishes at the bottom of the machine, about a glass of water remains in the filter. This is normal?

Fine. I always have a filter, as it were, filled with water.

In my Electrolux, before the first filling of salt, it was necessary to pour water into the compartment, and then pour salt there.
Sirius
This is written in the instructions for any PMM, before the first use, pour 0.5-1 liter of water into the compartment and then pour salt. The salt indicator will go out after 1-2 washes. The first time PMM is better to run empty, so that all technological odors are washed away.
By the way, according to the experience of using PMM, it is better to use coarse salt like Calgonite, and not fine salt like Somat or the like, since fine salt is washed out faster under similar conditions.
I prefer Somat powder and rinse aid.
There should be water in the filter after washing, this is normal.

goodok I'm sorry I was not in Moscow, I answer:
1. In all machines, water is first poured, then salt is poured, usually a liter of water and 1-1.5 kg of salt. the indicator should go out somewhere after 1-2 washes (the regenerator will be saturated with a strong saline solution, there is such a mesh with ion-exchange resin and it should be in a salt coat). If the indicator lights up after 3-4 washes, go to the warranty workshop. They must be tortured during the warranty period.
2. There can be a lot of foam either if the rinse aid flow rate is too high or (I had) when it was poured and some leaked outside the rinse aid chamber. Or ... the wrong detergent (writes Siemens)
3. There should always be water in the filter glass, otherwise whatever remains there will dry out and the machine will not work, the alternative is to clean the filter after each wash. This is all right. That is why it is made in the form of a glass.

The most interesting thing is that all German manufacturers say so - fill the compartment of the car with special COARSE-GRANULAR salt. Another thing is that Somat's salt will be cheaper. Immediately I warn the domestic Kulibins against trying to save money - to sprinkle the usual cookery. You can ruin the car well.

Thank you so much for your answers!
I figured out the salt ... The light really went out.
But the foam is still there. Moreover, it is not soapy, and then it goes by itself in 5 minutes. I switched on the program without drying. If turned on with drying, there is no foam. I will try to put the rinse aid on a minimum.

So I, for example, having tried all the means, both separate and tableted, over 6 years of using PMM, I came to the conclusion that the separate use of funds in the form of powder, salt and rinse aid is more suitable for me than all sorts of all-in-one pills. I don't like the result of washing with them.

and what exactly are you dissatisfied with? I personally do not like the pills only by the fact that somehow strangely they wash plastic dishes (stains, etc.) but I think it's not even about them, but about the chemistry itself

and what exactly are you dissatisfied with?

Well, for example, the fact that we have very hard water, and the pill will not take this into account - how much salt they put in it, according to the average indicator, it will give up so much when washing. And if you use separate components, then the regulator can set the salt consumption that is necessary in my case, and not the average. The detergent powder can be poured in exactly as much as is required for washing the dishes at the very moment. This all affects the quality of the wash (individual, rather than an average, control over each wash) and the rational use of funds.

water is like water)) I personally cannot determine its hardness by eye, however, everyone does it as it is convenient for him, 10-in-1 tablets are fine with me, I wrote above about small complaints about the sink, and putting a tablet is much easier for me, and as a rule, PMM is always "on call"

Well, I don’t impose my opinion on you, you must agree. ;) You asked what pills might not suit and why salt, if there are pills, I answered you why not everyone can fit them. I think it would be impolite to leave the question unanswered.
The conditions of use are different for everyone - I have a full PMM and a half-empty one in a day. I did not determine the hardness of the water by eye, but ordered a water analysis when a filter for drinking water was installed. As mentioned above, you can still buy special test strips and use them to determine the hardness of your water. It is very good that there are different dishwasher products and everyone can choose what is right for him.
Mams
greyzis, you have not specified the area of residence. Here in Moscow, for example, in different districts different water hardness. This will be reflected primarily on the machine itself. How long will she live. Therefore, you need to know the hardness of the water in your area. For Moscow, see the Mosvodokanal website. Or buy a special set for determining water hardness at a pet store. True, they are designed for reusable use there, it comes out a little expensive. There are special paper strips.

In my car, for example, 7 levels of water hardness. And the tablets are designed for medium. Therefore, it is recommended that if the water is hard, add salt to the tablets. This will help to lengthen the life of the ion exchanger in the PMM, and improve dishwashing.

I prefer salt, rinse aid, powder. The car is almost always packed to capacity. Pouring a spoonful of powder or throwing a pill - no difference. I poured salt six months ago, I have not added it yet. Rinse aid - top up every 2 months. And then, pills - again, not economically, an expensive pleasure comes out. But it is more convenient to whom

My husband gave a dishwasher, Bosch, for his birthday for 4 sets of dishes. We bought tablets, Calgonit 10 in 1, the tablet is large - it does not fit into the detergent compartment. At first, I broke it into smaller parts, shoved it and hardly closed the compartment lid. But I understood that I was doing something wrong. Then she just put the pill in the car. The effect is the same. But maybe someone can tell you how to put a pill in a small dishwasher correctly?

I will tell you - it should be put not in the powder compartment, but in the basket for cutlery (forks, knives, spoons) - as it is written in the instructions for my dishwasher.

No, it's not as simple as you thought. Read the instructions carefully. It's just that I have the same PMM and the instructions say that the tablets CANNOT be used in it. I don't know why, but it is written very categorically. Perhaps the size of a standard tablet is designed for a large PMM and a small one simply cannot cope, or perhaps there are some special reasons for this.
greyzis
Anastasia,
no, of course you don’t impose)) I’m just trying to weigh for myself all the pros and cons))

Mams, North-Eastern Administrative District, was on the mosvodokanal website, those figures did not tell me anything in principle, if I remember correctly, the teacher at the institute on the discipline "water supply and sewerage" said that the quality of water from the treatment plant is still being standardized, and what exactly can already flow from the tap is not known - it all depends on the networks of a particular area ...

I really want to buy PMM, but my eyes run up from the choice !! From all this abundance I chose the Electrolux ESL 46010 model! Maybe someone uses this model or this brand, share your impressions !!!!
Lionsea
I also want PMM. I'm very interested if someone bought Beko's dishwashers - how they operate, just a very tempting combination of price + functionality.
ZhenyaU
I now have Electrolux, and I had Beko. Both wash well (Beko has now moved to the village, she has been living there for the third year). The electrolux rinses it out before washing, and Beko washes it right away, but spends less time.

SOS !!! Request to PM users! There are 3 models to choose from:
Electrolux ESL 66010
Zanussi ZDT 110
Zanussi ZDT 220
Based on the technical description, what to take? Initial data - you need a built-in full-size one. The price difference does not matter. I would like to hear an opinion based on the experience of use.
PS I need to give an answer tomorrow morning which model I chose ...
Boo Boo
I have heard positive reviews about Zanus many times. What is the difference between 110 and 220?
Mams
LenaV07, on the official website of Zanussi there is no other model, Yandex did not find either ...

I can only say that Electrolux and Zanussi are of the same manufacturer, this is the AEG-Electrolux concern. AEG - top category, Electrolux - medium, Zanussi - low. If we proceed only from the names of the models - then Electrolux. It's difficult without technical characteristics ...

Thank you! At first, I made a choice in favor of Electrolux, but after talking with a service technician, I won out on Bosch. Lux's electronics are very responsive to power surges, but we do it. I will look for a German assembly Bosch.

Right choice! In general, I became a fan of Bosch after buying a dishwasher from this company and now I change all the equipment, if possible, to Bosch.

I have several Bosch friends who swear a lot. They say the old Zanusis were much better.
Mams
Boo Boo, like everything in our life - a lottery ... And I like my BOSHIK. Washes well, not noisy, clean

LenaV07 , good luck in choosing and using!
