Krucheniki

Krucheniki

Ingredients

pork 1 kg
carrot 2 pcs.
onion 2 pcs.
prunes 50 g
mayonnaise 50 g
hot mustard 50 g
flour 2-3 st. l.
salt, pepper, spices taste
vegetable oil

Cooking method

  • Cut the pork into steaks and beat it like chops. It is better to take the neck, then the tortillas will be juicier. Season the beaten meat with salt, pepper, coat with mayonnaise and mustard and leave to marinate.

  • During this time, chop the carrots and onions (you can dice the onions, and the carrots on a grater, or you can just in a blender to more or less even pieces). Fry in a small amount of sunflower oil. Cool down.

  • Cut the prunes lengthwise into 4 pieces.

  • Now it's just a small matter - on a piece of meat we spread the onion-carrot filling, a slice of prunes and roll it up, picking up the edges so that the filling does not fall out. Vary the amount of filling to your taste. I put more prunes and onion-carrot mixture on one edge, and distribute a small amount of filling throughout the piece.

  • Lightly roll the finished rolls in flour and fry until golden brown in a pan. Then I take a cast-iron goose maker (you can in any thick-walled container) I put sprigs of raspberries and cherries on the bottom, and on top of each other, meat semi-finished products tightly to each other, close the lid and put in an oven preheated to 200 * for 40-50 minutes. 10 minutes before turning it off, I remove the lid and let the tortillas brown.

  • Krucheniki

  • The meat is the most tender and without excess fat. Bon Appetit!

Note

Very tasty to serve with mushroom gravy - I have boiled butter stewed with onions in sour cream

I have it all right now, except for the sprigs of raspberries and cherries. And obviously it will not be ... And what could replace these?
kava
You can put it on the bottom anyway, just thanks to the twigs, excess fat flows down to the bottom, the meat does not burn (it is like an air cushion) and the twigs give aroma to the meat (light fire, smoking, smoke or something). You can also put a grate on the bottom of the mold (if any)

KavaThanks for the detailed recipe and fruit tree twigs idea! Just for her birthday, my son wanted to surprise the guests with something.
I have a question, do you add any liquid to the saucepan?
kava
No, I’m not adding. Although at first there was a temptation
