Biyron potatoes (Panasonic SR-TMH 18)

Ingredients

potatoes 800 g
onion 2 pcs.
salt 0.5 tsp
vegetable oil 2-3 st. l.
water 1.5 cups
spice
greens

Cooking method

  • Cut the potatoes into slices, rinse with cold water so that they do not stick together.
  • Cut the onion into half rings.
  • Pour vegetable oil into the multicooker bowl, put onion on the bottom. Put potatoes on the onion.
  • Sprinkle potatoes on top with Potato Seasoning, black pepper, dry garlic to taste.
  • Cover with salted water.
  • Pilaf program. At the end of the program, place the potatoes on a plate and sprinkle with herbs.

Note

The first time I cooked this potato, it seemed to me very tasty. But I doubted whether it was worth uploading, since the recipe is very simple. What if I was just very hungry!

But I cooked it a couple more times and decided to share it with you. Very simple, tasty, aromatic, juicy!

If you don't have Potato Seasoning, add some Italian herbs, some paprika, and dill. I also love a little grated nutmeg in potato dishes.

The simpler the better! So today I will try my cartoon on this recipe!

A wonderful recipe! And the fact that just like that is even better! Everyone liked me. And even my daughter said what she could do (and she is only 9 years old). True, she peels the potatoes a little more squarely Thanks for the recipe!
Aprelevna
My home pts. loved such a potato, it is in the "pilaf" mode that it turns out just that!

Also, I do this: I cut potatoes, put them in a cartoon,
I fry mushrooms and onions separately, fall asleep in potatoes, I do not add water,
mixed, salted, powdered with all sorts of seasonings and the "pilaf" mode.
I turn it off without waiting for the end of the program, the potatoes have less time.

All my guests fell in love with this potato, now we have on our festive table not boiled, traditional, but from multi with mushrooms.
Try it!

Today I decided to cook! I was already cutting the potatoes when I suddenly discovered that there was no onion. I decided to chop the garlic finely and replace the onion with that. Everything else is according to the recipe, but no .... I added two more cartoon glasses of water. It turned out very tasty, and the bottom of the potatoes was even browned!
I will try again with onions!
Luysia
angelo4ek, I'm glad that you got it tasty (and with onions it will be even more aromatic) and that you started cooking with us exactly from my recipe.

We are glad to newbies, we have a lot of tasty things here!

Luysia, potatoes - super! Did it several times already. Somehow I forgot to add water, but it turned out even better, like baked, with aromas of onions, seasonings. Now I do it without water. This is one of my favorite dishes now!
Thanks for the recipe!
Luysia
If without water, then I cook in Baking, it's faster.

I cut potatoes, in a bowl I mix with spices and a couple of tablespoons of vegetable oil. On Baking for about 40 minutes, depending on the quantity and variety of potatoes.
Stir a couple of times.

but nothing worked for me on baking. I fried these potatoes for a long time and tediously. The husband and son said that the pan is much better. Sorry!

Luysia, and in order not to weigh the potatoes, tell me, should the water cover or not?

No, there is not much water at all, only one and a half multi-cups.

Usyo understood, senkyu.

Is Rice mode okay? Or is it the same thing?
Luysia
Anetta, cook on Rice!

Thank you. I already put it, and then I wrote :)))) I'm just a beginner, that's why stupid questions may arise :)

I prepared it yesterday according to the recipe. My ponra. Thanks for the recipe

Please tell me, if there is no option "Pilaf" or "Rice", then on which mode to cook.
I have modes: "Turbo", "Normal", "Roast", "Steam", Stew, "Bake", "Soup"

of course, your potatoes have long been prepared on the way to the New Year
I would try to do it on the REGULAR program, because all these are Japanese-Chinese rice cookers, only smart and with a bunch of electronics inside, and for them rice and its varieties are akin to our potatoes, and, probably, this is the main program (which are all sharpened under rice), and then experiment and share your impressions with us.
And what is your cartoon, by the way?
rusja
Luysia,
As far as I understand, the PLOV program in Panasonic is automatic, it decides for itself when and how to turn off, depending on the amount of food and water?
In DEHE-50, this is an analogue of RICE / SPAGHETTI. Today I cooked your potatoes without departing from the recipe (I always do this the first time, so that later I will adjust to taste), but I have it as beautiful and baked as yours did not come out. It was just steamed potatoes, not even fully cooked. So I brought it to readiness on Baking for another half hour, then it became similar to the one in the photo. I have made potatoes many times at Baking, there are no problems, but I wanted something new.
And here many write what they generally do on Plov / Rice WITHOUT WATER - unless the automatic program without liquid turns off almost immediately. Potatoes are not, after all, zucchini does not give much liquid
Luysia
rusja, The Pilaf program in Panasonic works until the water boils off and then a little more. At this time, potatoes and onions are browning.

In Brand 37501 I cooked on Rice mode:

Biyron potatoes (Panasonic SR-TMH 18)

The program is almost the same with Panasonic, it is also automatic. Cooking time is about an hour.

I haven't tried it without water on Plov, but on Baking I do this:

I don't even know what to advise, I am familiar with DEX-50 only visually. I can only say that if the potatoes were not only not fried, but also not cooked, then you need to slightly increase the amount of water.

Natalia, judging by the programs, you have MV Delph. I'm just mastering it, here a lot of useful and practical advice was given to me by the girls on the "other multicooker" branch, choose Delph there and read, if of course it's her. Rice is cooked in it in "Normal mode", I already found out

Thank you for participating .
I will experiment further

I make potatoes without water (or a maximum of 1/4 of a multi-cup, if the potatoes are dry and dense) on the Pilaf program in Panasonic. The program lasts 40-45 minutes, depending on the amount of potatoes. Doesn't turn off immediately! And potatoes are baked and reddened.

LaraN, this topic of fried potatoes without water (or with a small amount of it) is actively discussed in the Liberton multicooker, and so no one has been able to get such a result as in Panasonic on automatic programs. No wonder this is an elite Japanese, who cost (and now too), with no alternative, not little money

I am grateful to the author I cooked yesterday in Orion - it turned out very tasty, from below the onion was slightly fried and the potatoes were soft Until they finished eating they weren't calm! Now one task is not to burst
Pogremushka
I cooked such a potato today. It turned out very tasty. I liked it more than slices with onions on baked goods and without water, as I cooked repeatedly. But most importantly, the children appreciated it, but it is not always possible to please them.
Luysia
Pogremushka, hrushka, to your health! I didn’t come up with the recipe, but it’s still nice, I myself often cook potatoes like that.
Natalivv
Thanks a lot, everyone.
I realized that through trial and error we reach the truth!
Potatoes turn out perfectly both in the "Basic" mode and in the "Baking" mode (but over time I haven't caught it for sure - every time I look in, in general, everything is by sight). As my mother used to say in childhood (when I asked when cooking how much to pour in and how long it takes): "By eye and until ready"... I remembered the answer for the rest of my life. And most importantly, this principle works
And I have a cartoon SATURN ST-MC 9180.

Luysiaand I am with a huge THANKS! Potatoes are delicious, and even such a simple and not tricky recipe!
Luysia
I planned it for tomorrow too. With Venetian-style biscuits.

irysska
And I'm in the subject THANK YOU for the recipe. Yesterday I cooked - very tasty and simple, and what a scent around the apartment! Today there will be a take number 2 - homemade for lunch ordered to repeat again. In my Dex 60 - Rice mode - everything is fine, not raw or overcooked
lisna
Tell me please! Can I cook this dish with a delay? In the evening, put everything in the MV and set the timer by the morning (I have a dex -60)? Will it spoil the taste? I am the owner of a multicooker for the second day, I do not know how the delay affects the products
Luysia
I think that this recipe is still not necessary for the delay.

There is very little water, it does not completely cover the potatoes and the potatoes that are not covered with water may darken during this time, and the one that gets wet in the water from below is also not good.

lisna, although you can try it if you really want to.

It is made in Thailand, and there it is quite budgetary: with English buttons I bought it for 2090 baht (= rubles), and with Thai buttons it cost 1400, so those who have used the Om sign with modes before are a real economy.

I did not even doubt it, but if the market were not flooded with cheaper multicooker now, I think that a good half of the forum would still NOT HAVE Panas

Thank you very much for the recipe, I cooked it amazingly delicious.
Only since when is potatoes an Uzbek dish ??? Uzbeks began to use potatoes only by the beginning of the 20th century, when these territories became part of the Russian Empire.

Thank you very much for the recipe!
We all fell in love with him, he began to do it in the country, now I add chicken fillet to the potatoes and I do it for my little daughter without spices, it's tasty and not harmful
unfortunately there is no photo now, we are moving
tigrillka
Well. such yummy - you have to cook well that the husband of potatoes bought 5 bags
Gouache
Luysia, thank you so much for the recipe! Very tasty potatoes turned out! The only thing that did not become fried, apparently I added more water than needed (the glass from MV was lost - I poured it at random).

In Panasonic, the Plov mode works until the liquid evaporates + a little more. It is during this time that a fried crust is obtained.

Mona1
Well, here I am with my potatoes.
Biyron potatoes (Panasonic SR-TMH 18)
Delicious, just awful. Made with the addition of beef. I fried the meat on Fry, then there onions and carrots and put it all out for half an hour. I cut the potatoes with my favorite Berner, washed them in water, sprinkled them with rosemary, light paprika and a bit of nutmeg + oil and salt. mixed well so that all the potatoes were greased with butter, then - in a saucepan, + 1 multi-glass of boiling water, also mixed everything with meat and vegetables and put on the RIS.
Thank you very much for such a good recipe. 🔗

Well, yes! The potatoes are really tasty. At first, the recipe was not interested, as it just looked. But today my husband wanted fried potatoes, and I remembered something that once I came across this recipe and decided to cook this one instead of fried. I just cooked it a little in my own way. First, I fried the onion with a small amount of meat, then mixed it with raw potatoes, added spices to taste, and then everything was according to the recipe. The potatoes turned out to be incredibly tasty. My husband was already delighted, he said that the potatoes were similar from his childhood, as his grandmother cooked, and this I consider the highest praise. So thanks to the author for such a simple and delicious recipe !!!!

It’s always so nice when so praised. I know from myself that I still want to create with new energy, just like wings grow. And this potato is wonderful, we often make it.

Thank you for such a simple and delicious recipe. I have done it 4 times already, without interruptions for rice and pasta, until I am not tired
No pictures, but probably the same as everyone else. Only in very thin slices, I cut on the Burner. I forgot to rinse the potatoes once, but they still didn't stick together

In general, not a recipe, but a magic wand.
Luysia
Girls, I thank everyone for the "thank you", eat to your health!
