Feijoa jam

Category: Blanks
Feijoa jam

Ingredients

Feijoa
Persimmon
Nectarines, apples
Sugar
Water
Lemon juice

Cooking method

  • There is only one cooking principle:
  • - I pass the feijoa through the smallest grill of the meat grinder.
  • - I used Strong Chocolate persimmon - I also passed it through a meat grinder.
  • - nectarines, apples I cut into thin slices.
  • - sugar took 30% by weight of fruit.
  • - made a quick version of jam in the Confiture Maker.
  • - syrup - 200 ml. water + juice of 1/2 lemon, bring to a boil, boil. Then I first add feijoa, cook for five minutes (it is harder), then add other fruits and cook until tender. Readiness is the state of jam when the jam starts to stick to the bottom of the pan.
  • - I pour it hot into the cans and close it under the lids and put under the lids until it cools completely.
  • That's all!
  • Feijoa jam with persimmon, nectarine, apple.
  • Feijoa 500 grams, Chocolate hard medium persimmon 4 pieces, 2 nectarines, 1 apple, sugar 30%

Note

When I recently accidentally saw a photo "Five Minutes from Feijoa" by Chuchelka I was not at all impressed by the sight of this jam, so dark, uncomfortable - I tell the truth.

But, here in the market I saw these very fruits called feijoa and decided on jam.
I sat down for books and let's study recipes from this fruit - what and how to do and what it is eaten with.

The choice was limited. But then I learned that various other fruits can be added to feijoa.

Made two options for jam:
- feijoa with nectarine,
- feijoa with persimmon, nectarine, apple.
