Oat flakes 1.75 st.

Bananas 3 pcs.

Cooking method

  • Sift flour with baking soda, baking powder and ginger. Add oatmeal.


  • Combine sugar, margarine or butter, molasses (honey) in a ladle. Heat until the butter is melted, stir.


  • Add butter-sugar-honey to flour, then add egg and mashed bananas.


  • Put the dough in a mold, flatten, bake for 1 hour. The cake will rise and become a pleasant brown color.


  • Cool in the form, cut into squares of the desired size. I cut into small cubes.

Ginger (fresh) and bananas remained, beer was replaced by apple juice, eggs, butter and molasses are resting, but pecans dried in a pan and mashed baked apples were added ... the taste and aroma are simply stunning!
By the way, I didn't put any spices except a large amount of fresh ginger, but it's just there (2 roots with a thumb each) and it doesn't interrupt bananas. The pecan adds some finishing touch.
