White Cupcakes

Ingredients

Flour 420 g
baking powder 2.5 tsp
Salt 0.5 tsp
Softened butter 147 g
Sugar 350 g
Eggs 2 pcs
Milk 300 ml
Vanilla extract 1 tsp

Cooking method

  • Preheat oven to 180aboutC, prepare the molds for cupcakes (line with paper inserts or grease with butter and sprinkle with flour) or, in my case, just grease the silicone mold with oil.
  • Sift flour, baking powder and salt into a medium bowl.
  • In another, large bowl, beat the butter on low speed, gradually add sugar and beat until fluffy.
  • Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each.
  • Combine milk and vanilla in a small bowl.
  • Add a quarter of the flour mixture to the oil mixture and mix thoroughly, then add a quarter of the milk mixture and mix thoroughly. Then add flour and milk in turn, stirring until smooth after each addition (here the main thing is not to beat, but to stir, in the final the dough will be like mayonnaise, and not like whipped cream).
  • Pour the dough into baking tins.
  • Bake for 15 to 20 minutes, or until the dough bounces when pressed.
  • Remove from the oven, let cool for about 10 minutes, then remove on the wire rack until it cools completely.

  • For 1 Barney form and 1 Insect form, half a portion of the dough is enough, that is, you need to do the dough for 1 egg.
  • In order for Barney to taste like Barney, you need to fill them with chocolate filling. I use a kind of ganache (I heat the cream, melt the chocolate in it, collect all this mass with a syringe without a needle and "chop off" Barnik), I did the proportions by eye, but there was more cream than chocolate - I remember that exactly.

Note

These cupcakes taught me how to bake our beloved Lyudochka Lisss`s, for which special THANKS to her !!!

Natasha, thank you and Lyudochka for sharing this recipe together! We will definitely try !!!

Girls, what kind of chocolate should you put in the filling - just melted or melted with butter? Otherwise, the child may suspect Barney's fake. Brown make it clear what to add cocoa to the dough.

Are Barney brown? They seem to be white, and the legs are covered in "chocolate" ...
And I stuffed them with ganache (I took the proportions by eye). And if you just fill it with chocolate, then I think it will freeze there and there will be no such softness ...

Well, he's so beige, let's say. And yesterday I already thought about the fact that the chocolate would freeze - surely after all!

Natusya, excuse me !! We are not local, we are from another area. Is that where the recipe says about the filling? Or am I missing something?

Yes, there is nowhere in the filling recipe ...
Well, I gave a recipe for cupcakes, which smoothly turned into Barney, but there it is already necessary to add the filling so that our children think that these are real bears.

Lika, goat!
Girls, clean the Temka, please, I corrected the recipe ...

How long did Ivan wander around the world for a short time ... So I, a week ago baked Barnikov, but only now, with a kick, I came to report
Honestly, they baked longer than they ate! My son liked it, although he noticed the substitution, since he did not find the filling in them. But my arguments in favor of the fact that this is fresh, homemade and next time there will be a filling left no trace of Barnikov. So thanks for the recipe !!!
I took 1/2 portion for a mold of 20 barniks. Another 2 cupcakes turned out.

But the most interesting and entertaining thing is to wash the dish after baking.

AHA! scared !!!
And the form is really not to be washed for fun - the dishwasher could not cope with it, now I wash such forms by hand.

NatalyaN, thank you and a photo report!

I did not lubricate the silicone molds. Delicious muffins, very delicate and milky taste.
Maritana
NatalyaN, very tender and delicious cupcakes, thank you.
We did it yesterday with my son, I put in food, and he mixed it. True, I baked 1/2 portion for a test in a multi. It turned out to be a 3.5 cm high pie, which quickly disappeared.
Sweetheart
Very tasty! Thank you! Inside I put the remains of the cake cream (condensed milk with butter), which safely escaped from the mold * JOKINGLY * But it was still delicious

what can replace baking powder if not available? Flour in the same proportions?

No. Baking powder is a baking powder that can be replaced with baking soda and quenched with lemon juice

Thanks for the recipe.
Soft, finely porous, airy .. they don't understand the biscuit dough ... we liked it, although I added a little cocoa and could not decide how much to bake, with such a crispy crust ...: girl_love: I really liked the little one and my husband had super milk
RS and the dough did not flow very much for me, rather thick, for that they are tasty and really reminds me of a barnik.

And I didn't know how much to lay down, I bake for the first time, put in a lot and came out such hats

White Cupcakes
This dough was thick, I don’t know the photo is upside down
