Potato pancakes in a waffle iron

Ingredients

500 gr potatoes
3 eggs
3 tbsp mayonnaise
flour until thick

  • The recipe is almost by eye. Grate potatoes on a fine grater, but not for potato pancakes and squeeze out, I got 4 potato "snowballs". Add eggs and mayonnaise to them. Add a little flour to make the dough "waffle". She laid it out with a spoon, leveled it and that's it.

And I didn't really like it in the waffle iron (I made it in a mold for thick waffles). Still, I like potato pancakes, I won't say that they are thick, but certainly not thin. I cooked in three passes. First 3 minutes, then 3.5, then 4 minutes. Next time I will hold it for about 5 minutes - it will work out the most. Thanks again for the great idea.
