Lentil soup with fried vermix and bacon

Ingredients

300 gr red lentils
100 gr vermicelli (stars, letters)
1.8 l cold water
2 tablespoons butter
4 allspice peas
2 lavrushka leaves
salt

Cooking method

  • There are two very tasty dishes on their own: Mjeddara (rice with lentils and onions), which I make according to this recipe Lentil soup with fried vermix and bacon
  • Add the vermicelli to the lentils, season with salt and spices and cook for another 20-30 minutes until the lentils are soft.
  • Serve with fried onions, finely chopped herbs and smoked meats (bacon).
