Chicken chops marinated and oatmeal

for 500-600 grams of chicken chops or chicken breasts

marinade

150 gr plain yogurt
70g tomato paste (NOT sour!)
1 table. a spoonful of odorless vegetable oil
2 tea. spoons of honey
2 cloves of garlic
1 tea spoon of salt
pepper to taste
a piece of ginger the size of a thimble

Pass the garlic and ginger through a press. In a plastic container, mix the marinade thoroughly, taste, bring to taste.
Cut the chops with a knife (process with a tenderizer), put them in the marinade, stir until the meat is completely covered with marinade.
Put in the refrigerator to marinate for at least 4 hours (I had it for a day). The marinade is completely absorbed into the meat.
Breaded the chops in small instant oatmeal and fry in warmed vegetable oil over low heat until golden brown.

What can I tell you? This is a bomb"!!! Not only are the chops themselves delicious and melt in your mouth! This oatmeal "killed" everyone!
For those fried oatmeal that remained in the pan, there was a uniform fight, honestly!
Throwing away the bag of bread crumbs and buying cereals!

Chicken chops marinated and oatmeal

Z. Y. The cut simply did not have time to capture, as the chops disappeared instantly.

Stelochka,
thank you very much for the recipe!
my little man screwed up his eyes and purred
very tasty, and the aroma in the house was oat breading I checked out - super
and in general, a very convenient way of cooking meat - only five minutes to mix the marinade, and the next day - a delicious original dinner is prepared instantly, and after all, the chops can be fried as needed, and the rest can be stored in the marinade ... if be patient

My question is - do you have to beat the chops before pickling? Or just chop the meat into chops, chop it with a knife and immediately marinade? And can you use Hercules flakes? Or do you need quick-cooking flakes?
Stern
BlackHairedGirl ,
Do not beat the chops, just poke them with a knife and immediately into the marinade.
And "Hercules" is never quick cooking? The fact is that I only have quick-boiled flakes here, so I use them.

it happens, I just used instant Hercules
lillay
And I have a question about oatmeal - and those that do not require cooking can be used for breading (I have such flakes, "Large")?
luchok
lillay
these are exactly what you should use
Natay
Stеrn, I tried more breasts in marinade and in oatmeal. Husband, to say that he was delighted, well, that's putting it mildly. Personally, I asked you to convey my deep gratitude (the recipe has not been tested on it alone), I am ready to continue to be a guinea pig. And another question about breading - I didn't really want it to stick to the meat during frying, and even when shifting, is there some secret too?

I fully agree with the previous statement about yummy

And I had the same oatmeal problem.

So I'm thinking: can I first dip the meat in a beaten egg?
Natay
I dipped it, no difference. Think you can grind the flakes a little?
Lyulёk
Today I will try to do this:
I roll the meat in flour, then in an egg, and only after that I roll it in oatmeal

Maybe flour will bind the meat with the breading stronger?
Stern
Girls, my flakes didn't fall off.The only thing I did was hand pressing the breading to the meat. But I think it depends more on the cereal. My flakes are very thin and stick to yogurt tightly.
In flour and in an egg, I would not roll. Here the whole "trick" is that the flakes get slightly wet from the marinade.

Natay , to your health! Chicken chops marinated and oatmeal And thanks to "rabbit"!

Stella!
I bring you "Thank you" from my husband for oat-breaded chicken chops.
He said that it was very tasty and was glad that he did not stay to have dinner at his mother's. We have these chops and dry red wine ... mmmmmm ...
True, the meat was pickled for just over an hour .... But the second batch is already standing, preparing to be eaten for dinner tomorrow.

Stеrn tell me, and before frying, except for cereals, there is nothing else to roll in?

Chicken chops marinated and oatmeal

Chicken chops marinated and oatmeal
that when I fry, all the oatmeal fell off the meat, probably seen in the photo.

Stern, they also stuck to the meat well, but they began to lag behind when frying.
Maybe it was necessary, after rolling the meat, to let it lie down a little so that the flakes would get wet / swollen.
Can you take a photo of what flakes you used
Stern
The main thing is that the meat is covered with marinade, otherwise the flakes will have nothing to stick to. I breaded in flakes, press the breading with my hand and immediately into the pan.
I buy the cheapest flakes. zart.
I'll take a picture in the evening.
Okay, persuaded!
I just have the last jar of yogurt left. Tomorrow I'll fry something in cereal and try to take step by step photos.
Tatjanka_1

I used these flakes

Chicken chops marinated and oatmeal

I really did stella on kefir from kefir mushroom, maybe this is the case, but I had enough marinade, even when I used the meat, the marinade was not completely absorbed, as you wrote.

Tan, I can't even imagine how this kefir looks. So I can't say anything about this.
And my flakes are exactly the same.
luchok
Ohh, well, of course, it won't hold on to such kefir, it won't give such bundles between meat and cereals, like yogurt, IMHO.
I perfectly represent this kefir, my mother was fond of at one time
Lika
Stеrn, came to report with dinner: chicken fillet in yoghurt marinade and flakes (4 cereals).
Chicken chops marinated and oatmeal

Fillet ottenderaisila, mixed marinade from drinking yoghurt+ ginger, garlic, honey and mustard. Marinated for about 1.5 hours - the meat melts in the mouth
I took half a bottle (330 g) of this yogurt
Chicken chops marinated and oatmeal

The flakes are fried very quickly, I didn't follow it a bit, but it didn't affect the taste.
Chicken chops marinated and oatmeal

Thanks so much for the marinade and the cereal idea !!!!
Stern
Tatjanka_1 !

Listen, all your fallen flakes haunt me. Maybe you fried under the lid?
Tatjanka_1
Stella, yes, first without, and then closed the lid, because she began to spray oil
Stern
Well that's the answer! Phew!
It is impossible under the lid !!! And if you fry over low heat (which is exactly how it should be!), Then it will not sprinkle!
BlackHairedGirl
Stella, thank you: flowers: for the oat-breaded chicken chops. I did them! I had to buy fast cereals for this business. But delicious. And my husband also really liked it, ate with pleasure and asked for more. And the younger ignored the breading, ate only meat. Yes, the breading disappears, what would you think of ??? Maybe dip in an egg beforehand? What do you think?
I did it yesterday for dinner and today for breakfast, but without a photo yet, the batteries are charging. Beautiful: wow: they look on a plate, with a salad as a side dish (y), felt like in an expensive restaurant
Stern
Tanya, good luck! Chicken chops marinated and oatmeal
Thank you for appreciating!

You and I, it turns out, visited the same restaurant - I also used a salad to garnish these chops!

Well, what are you going to do with this breading ?! I don't understand why it can fall off. I'm doing well!

And I kept it EXCELLENT!

Chicken chops marinated and oatmeal

And how delicious!
Stеrn, many thanks for the recipe. And with your permission, a few thoughts on the crumbling breading:

1. I had less than 500 g of chicken, and I made the full amount of marinade and in a day most of it was absorbed, but a little remained on the chops, that is, they were so wet;

2. the flakes were small ("Nordic");

3. I breaded the chops, and then I realized that the potatoes were not ready for a side dish yet, so they lay a little breaded and the flakes were soaked and stuck specifically to the meat.

Based on this, I made a conclusion for myself: you need more marinade, smaller flakes and do not rush to fry, let the breading get wet a little.

Stella, thanks again!
Tanyusha
Sеrn, thank you for the curd buns, I did everything in the morning for coffee, but I managed to take a picture, I'll insert it later.
Now I make zrazy in a sprinkle of "4 cereals" flakes. They hold up well, do not fly off and turn out pretty.

all! I am conquered forever :) before that I did not particularly like chicken ...
now I put the second portion in the marinade :))

Stella, Made Your Marinated Oat-Breaded Chicken Chops.
They marinated with me for a day. Yummy
I will comment ... I made pork and chicken. Not a single gram of breading fell off the chicken, but I suffered with the pork. The conclusion is, I will repeat, but not with pork.
Thank you!
Stern
Darling, to your health! Chicken chops marinated and oatmeal
Thank you for appreciating!

So much for you! I would never have thought that it matters what kind of meat to marinate and bread.
leka
Stella, here I was making these chicken chops ... the meat can just be eaten with the lips, so soft, but I also lost the breading when frying. I did everything exactly according to your instructions
Stern
leka , I'm sorry.
Check out Luysia's tips on this.
Mila007
My pork breading fell off. And on the chicken kept remarkably! I don't even know why it happened
I marinated them longer, about 15 hours. Maybe that's why?
Stern

Definitely not, I kept it longer, the breading does not fall off.
Mila007
Stelochka, I probably wrote confusingly
I meant that those chickens that were marinated longer turned out great! Nothing fell off of them. And the pork was marinated for 8 hours.
Stern
DarlingPerhaps the pork absorbs the marinade more and you need more of it. If the meat at the exit was not covered with marinade, then this may be the reason that the flakes fell off.

I get it on time. The truth is not very clear, but the cut shows how the chop, well processed by the tenderizer, is saturated with marinade.

Chicken chops marinated and oatmeal
I liked the recipe very much. Thank you.
The meat was pork, so I beat it off a little. The breading is just super. For me personally, what was left in the pan turned out to be the most delicious. I even thought, maybe the oatmeal should be fried, not boiled.

Stella!!!
These chops are very, very tasty! They are magical!
Enjoyed by the whole family!
It's not the first time I've done it: very tasty, tender, juicy! And crispy breading is a song!
True, this time from "your" marinade I have only salt and pepper, the rest of the ingredients are what came to hand ... But the breading hid / ennobled everything and it turned out great!
Thank you, Stellochka for the recipe!

I hasten to unsubscribe, as the holiday is just around the corner and if anyone else is looking for a menu, I highly recommend such chops!

The sauce was almost absorbed, the breading almost did not fall off, the photo is not very ... but the taste
Chicken chops marinated and oatmeal

But after making two pans of oatmeal, I decided to experiment

I tried to brew in semolina

and just flour and egg.

Chicken chops marinated and oatmeal

Conclusion:
on March 8th I will do a part in an egg and a part in flakes. Such delicious food !! And how delicious they are cold!
Thank you for one more wonderful recipe !!!!
artisan
For the sake of fairness, I hasten to note that these semolina-breaded cue balls are also very tasty !!! But my men, probably, after so many eaten, mannopanated, chose these two options. It is not surprising, because it is new, it is always tasty.

Stella, we love this recipe with all our hearts!
This time, the breasts were cut lengthwise into 2 thin plates, and marinated. And the flakes were taken by "Tsar. 5 cereals" of fine grinding. Nothing fell off! Fried over medium heat.
Well, what to say - TASTY!
Chicken chops marinated and oatmeal
THANKS Stella!
Keira
I also cooked such chicken breast chops yesterday. : victory: Only there were no small flakes (I always take the usual ones in a box), but nothing, I dipped them in an egg and did not fall off. And the meat is very tender after marinating. The husband hates chicken breasts, but here he ate and praised and said that it was not at all like chicken breasts, and today his son ate cold and said that it was already delicious. But I didn’t like the breading (probably still need crayons), but the meat is lovely!
_strekoza_
I also did it with chicken breasts, it turned out sooo tasty. When they were still fried, I came to the smell of my son. He said it smells so delicious that it is already impossible to endure))) When I found out that it was chicken, I was surprised. He said that he looked somehow not "chicken". Everyone liked it very much! I already bought cereals for the future
And by the way, my flakes did not fall off.

Thanks for the recipe !!!
