Ingredients

egg 1 PC.
milk 100 ml
flour (glass 250 ml) 2 tbsp.
soda 0.25 tsp
salt 0.5 tsp
sugar 1 tsp
vanilla sugar (optional) 0.5 p.p.

Cooking method

  • The dough was kneaded by HP. More flour will probably go. The dough is slightly softer than dumplings. I put all the products and turned on the "Dumplings" mode. After kneading, leave the dough to "rest" for 20-30 minutes. To sculpt flagella with a thickness of 0.5-1 cm (I liked the thicker drying better) and fasten them into rings. Boil 1 liter of water, add 3 tbsp. l. Sahara. Throw drying in boiling water, cook for about a minute after surfacing. Remove, drain and place on a greased baking sheet. Bake for 20-25 minutes before browning: first 10 minutes at 220C, then at 170-180C.
  • The recipe from the Cook website. ru with minor changes. Delicious drying, crumbly and crunchy.
  • They can be made salty with herbs, or sweeter.

Yes, the dough was very steep (2 cups of flour, 250 ml). Added more milk. Despite the hardness, only 1 drying remains! They are tasty.

I baked in the evening, so by the morning there were 7 pieces left, for me to try. Although it turned out a lot. Delicious, crumbly.But I deliberately overdried, I like drying "Nevskaya" with poppy seeds, they are crumbly, but light really. Generally awesome drying!

Is the soda coming quick? I sometimes have soda in my bread maker recipes. It is not indicated there - it is necessary to extinguish or pour it like that. I add slaked pancakes to baked goods and pancakes, which is why it confuses me.

This morning I baked drying. She started the dough with her hands. It turned out to be very thick. I had to add additional water and still it turned out thick. And even dried it out in the oven. I can't eat them with my teeth. Only by soaking it in tea with milk. I see my mistakes. It will be necessary to do it again and make the dough softer.

For some reason, my drying began to wrinkle when I threw them into boiling water.

When I started baking, the drying increased in size, swelled, but still did not dry out, although they sat for 40 minutes in the oven. Obviously cheto did not. The dough was soft.

Until we finish the first drying, I will not cook new ones. I don’t feel the soda either. The dough should be made more elastic. I understand this. Thanks for the answer.

And my drying is not crispy and not crumbly at all. It tasted more like bagels, but I wanted crispy dryers like yours. The dough turned out to be softer than the dumplings, but not much. And I kneaded with my hands. My bread maker will not mix this. Or maybe make the dough even thinner or keep it in the oven longer?
