I was wondering, maybe that "secret" of soaking rice is suitable for buckwheat, so that 1 to 1? Nobody experimented? I would like it to be not boiled, but retaining its shape - crumbly, but not half-baked at the same time.

I tried to cook herculean porridge twice, according to the recipe at the beginning of the topic (unfortunately, I don't remember the nickname, the man posted it). That is, for 1 glass of rolled oats 3 tbsp. liquids (in my case milk + water), by 4-6 ND, depending on whether to release steam immediately or not. For the first time, I put ND on for 5 minutes, immediately let off steam, the porridge had not yet settled down, I mixed it well and it immediately "reached". I liked it that time.

And another time I left the porridge to languish for 1.5 hours, I didn't let out steam, and when I opened it, the porridge was very thick, to be honest, I didn't really like this mass. Probably, in this case, you need a ratio of 1 to 4 or even to 5 ... I don't know. I will try again)))

ps
yes, I urgently need a spatula, while I use a plastic spoon, it is now both a stirrer and a mule's spatula, but you still need something softer ...

How much do you cook and in what mode? And then they correctly noted that the combination of all factors is important - proportion, mode and time

About beets. Since I recently read the whole topic, I remember that someone advised to wash, cut into halves and place in a steam basket with the cut up (so that the juice does not leak out of the cut) and put it on for 15 minutes, but I just don’t remember VD or ND, but it seems , nevertheless, beets need VD. Of course, I won't tell you the page. just noted for myself, because tomorrow I am going to cook.

and it is better to cook vegetables on LP (it is written in the instructions that vitamins and necessary microelements are better preserved this way)
Cartoon-Mulia
Uh-huh (I'm talking about vegetables), but it's beets, that's why I thought so ... Especially in comparison with the old method of cooking - you finally need to simmer for an hour in water, there will also be little left there, probably In general, I have a whole bag beets, you will need to check for ND for 15 minutes and find out if this is enough.

Girls, baked today according to Marina's recipe-little1 from the site Multicooker. ru, for her recipe thank you very much, Express khachapuri. It will turn out great in our short-cut. Bake as you bake the curd casserole.
Multicooker-pressure cooker Moulinex Minute Cook CE4000
I made some changes to the recipe.
Mix 200g of grated cheese (I took Russian), 2 tbsp. spoons with a slide of flour, 2 pcs. eggs, sour cream 200g, cottage cheese 200g, 1 clove of garlic, your favorite greens, 1 teaspoon of baking powder. Stir (no need to whip).
Grease the bowl with oil and sprinkle with a little breadcrumbs. Pour the mixture into a bowl. Bake.

Yesterday I was in a hurry to cook buckwheat from what was. I turned on the cartoon for frying, added a little vegetable oil. Finely chopped a large onion, grated two carrots on a coarse grater and sent all this to a pot. I took the sausages (well, why should they lie in the refrigerator), cut them into circles and sent them to the vegetables. Buckwheat took 400 g, added 400 ml of water and turned on ND for 10 minutes. After the beep, I waited another ten minutes and called everyone to dinner.

how did the liquid escape? through the top or soaked into the rice?

IMHO a pressure cooker, as a device, is less suitable for milk porridge. All the rest . Zvezda askony , all right, buy an inexpensive slow cooker just for cereals, there is a choice.

Anya, I sympathize! But the point, in my opinion, is not in the pressure cooker, but in the milk (its quality), in the volume that I poured into the bowl ...
I cook milk rice porridge on the timer: it stands all night in a bowl and does not curd. Try to change the milk producer ...
I know that many people boil in water, and add cream or milk at the time of eating. Can you do that?

Antonovka
Zvezda askony,
I only made dairy from whole oatmeal - nothing curdled and nothing escaped. The valve was closed - 15 (or 25 - I don't remember already) minutes. on VD (for oatmeal, you just need more than for ordinary cereals), the middle of the saucepan was smeared with butter. And until the morning on heating, with the valve closed

Ratio, ratio

1 mst whole oatmeal + 2.5 mst water + 2.5 mst milk + 1 tsp. salt + 1.5 tbsp. l. Sahara
IRR
I didn’t curdle, but it worked like baked milk. And curdled when the milk is already beginning to sour slowly, but you cannot yet determine the taste. Or maybe, really, the manufacturer is not of high quality IMHO

Yes, 1 and by the way on baked goods - wonderfully tasty pizza turns out!
Cartoon-Mulia
Maybe you had VD, the steam was not let off immediately and / or only with milk?

Today I made an awesome millet millet porridge, nothing curdled or stuck. I think this is because milk with water is 1 to 1, the proportions of cereals and liquid are 1 to 5, ND for 7 minutes, at the end, immediately release the pressure (gently, naturally) and stir well. Then the porridge, when it cools down, will thicken a little more. Delicious food turns out!

The same song with rolled oats, no difference, and with rice. So I got used to the porridge and in this quick-release the only thing, I won't risk semolina, although the topic said that it is possible. It's just that I used to cook purely milk semolina.
ps
And if you do VD or do not let off steam at once and do not stir, then really, not very much, I did not like it.
kubanochka
I boiled semolina in milk. I don't remember the time, somewhere in the subject I wrote how much I cooked. Porridge turns out like custard cream. Unusual, but very tasty. Nothing ran away anywhere.

I cooked rice porridge in a mixture of milk and water, about 0.5 liters. milk and the same amount of water and a 200 gram glass of rice (it would be necessary to take half a glass, since it turned out thick after it thickened) and on LP for 5 minutes. I didn't bleed off the steam. Then I added some oil. Everything boiled, did not run away and the taste is wonderful. There is no need to stand, fear that he will run away or burn.

Tusya, Hi!
I soaked whole yellow peas overnight. Cooked at LP for only 30 minutes. I didn't bleed off the steam.
I know that they cook for 20 minutes at high pressure or 20 minutes at low pressure. The peas are boiled, but the potatoes are whole.
If you want, you can overfry the fry with smoked meats and vegetables, and then cook with pressure!

20 minutes on ND (Svetlana-lana7386 and I collectively thought about the time)

Next I prepared the original Meat hedgehogs from Buka.
